Went to drop off an Amazon return and was told I can only return via UPS if I purchase UPS approved packaging. I reused the box it was shipped in and was told that is no longer allowed. The UPS website states that all you need is a sturdy box with no other shipping labels. This is the first time I’ve ever had an issue with an Amazon return at a UPS store using non UPS packaging.

Used this store for over 13 years. New owners now and I encountered an issue on my last visit that I want to share. This location will no longer accept an Amazon return unless it is repackaged in a new box that they want to sell you for $2.50. It does not matter how the item was originally shipped to you from Amazon. They now claim their “new policy” is that returns need to be in a new box for them to “accept” them. After researching this new policy, I found that is not an Amazon or UPS policy. Items simply need to be in a box with the old shipping label removed. New owner is bitter over the amount they are paid for accepting Amazon returns and is trying to get more money from unsuspecting customers. Don’t waste your time and money here. Take your Amazon returns somewhere else!

If you have an option if possible DO NOT go to this location unless you want to waste your time with people who have ZERO clue on anything in the store. I call ahead of time to ask basic questions like can I access/print something from your computers? Woman LIED and said yes. By the time i waste my time and resources getting over there its too late. Not only does the printer not magically work but then also there email/computers dont work when i try to email them the documents. Absolutely useless. Extremely unprofessional, first experience at a UPS store was definitely unforgettably terrible. Never again

This UPS store will not assume responsibilities for their mistakes and end up charging you for their negligence.I came to this UPS store on 09-20-2023 to send important documents to someone that needed it next day. As you can see on this receipt the name Rayna, assured me both prices for Next Day delivery (09-21-2023 Thursday) and for arrival at a later date which was not an option that I had asked for. I repeatedly told her -and asked repeatedly- that the documents were to arrive exactly next day from Wednesday 09-20-2023 toThursday 09-21-2023 for which she confirmed and charged me for. The documents never arrived next day as guaranteed by Rayna. . . It arrived today Monday 09-25-2023.I go in person to this same location on 09-25-2023 and spoke to another female employee who excused it as a simple new employee hire rookie mistakes… a mistake I financially paid for for their negligence is no excuse to give to a consumer who paid for services that was assured by your employee of UPS. A refund was denied claiming that they had no way to issue a refund unless through an online request form (for which I was also denied). If you do not know how a UPS runs then ask your fellow colleague or a simple honest reply “I do not know” would have been the appropriate alternative than charging someone right away. Do not assume to know and blatantly charge others for random services that were not asked of you. UPS do not be quick to pass the buck or wash your hands of any responsibilities either. It is dishonest and unacceptable to cheat consumers like this.
