Get prepare to be there between 10 to 14 hours sitting in a chair at ER and even more, even if you aren't admitted. I gave them 3 starts because Doctors are super amazing also some nurses, but be careful with some nurses at the registration, not even look at your face if you ask for something.

This ER deserves a negative 5! No HUMAN BEING deserves to be treated how my sister was treated at this hospital’s ER. It was an absolutely horrific experience and something I never thought was possible in the US. The hospital staff at this ER are extremely apathetic and have zero compassion. There is no pain management and no communication with the patient or people who come with them. My sister was in the back room for at least 5 hours of our 7.5 hour ordeal and was given no fluids through an IV or otherwise the entire time. I was not allowed in the back with her and despite several requests for her status, I was given no information. After being there for 3.5 hours, they brought my sister back to the waiting room in severe pain saying there was no room in the back for her. I requested pain meds for her 4 times over an hour period before they finally gave her some pain meds. At that point her pain had gotten so bad that she felt like she was going to vomit and/or pass-out. We tried to leave after being there for 5 hours with no information on what was wrong with her but the hospital staff would not let us leave even though she said she stated she wanted to leave against medical advice. My sister was being held against her will and I wondered if I was going to need to call 911 to get us out of there. While she was in the back she asked for a tissue and was told they would have to ask the doctor. For a tissue?!! They finally wheeled her out just after midnight and said she was ready to go. I asked what was wrong with her and was told that they had already explained it to my sister…my sister who was under the influence of narcotics for pain. They refused to explain anything to me. Is this even legal? According to her discharge papers, her test results were available 3.5 hours after we arrived and they kept her there for 4 hours beyond that. Why? Do they charge based on the time she was there? Did they keep her just past midnight so they could charge insurance for another day? Truly unbelievable…

Hello, patients and their families! My husband Richard died when he was hospitalized at the university hospital because the doctors and nurses did not fulfill their medical ethics. During the hospitalization, I was dissatisfied with the hospital's medical skills and services. We requested to be transferred to another hospital for treatment several times, but were stopped by the hospital, which caused my husband's death. The hospital doctors and nurses did not allow me to talk to my husband, and called the security guards to kick me and the director of the hospice hospital out of the CCU ward. What kind of behavior is this?During the hospitalization, my husband's mobile phone and ipd were left in the hospital. I didn't take them home until he was admitted to the ICU. During the hospitalization, all the information in my husband's mobile phone was stolen, and all the credit cards and money on the account were stolen one after another. I reported to all banks on December 23 last year, and the banks are still investigating. As for the hospital treatment and services, I will sue. This Las Vegas University Hospital is a gangster hospital that does not provide medical skills and ethical services to patients. You can write shameful things about you for a ?. It's really not worth giving this hospital this ?. I want to sue! RuyiHello, patients and families! When my husband, Richard, was hospitalized at the University Affiliated Hospital, the doctors and nurses failed to fulfill their medical ethics responsibilities, which resulted in my husband's death. The only reason I'm giving this place a one-star is because of the one nurse who was working in the front who was trying his best to help us. First off, my mother needed care and we were initially seen we waited 9 hours before we called it quits to go to a different emergency room. 9 hours! With little to no updates as to why we waited that long. Also, the PA who initially saw my mother had HORRIBLE bedside manners to both myself and my mother. Would not recommend coming here- I would rather take the drive to an emergency room farther away like Spring Valley or Summerlin. Side note- the waiting room felt crowded with no space to walk/sit without feeling like someone is going to cough on you. They also didn't have any trashcans in the waiting room. Don't waste almost 10 hours like we did.

I broke my leg on Friday hiking in Nevada and was brought to this hospital and had surgery on Saturday. The care I received from the ER, Ortho, the doctors, nurses, and aides was exceptional. CNA Lidiya and Nurse Russel really went above and beyond with my care. The bed was very comfortable, the food was good, and I really have no complaints.

Ray got flown in fromDeath Valley after tripping in the Inn parking lot & falling unconscious. His nurses Nichole & Johnell & Tom took great care of him. He was happy with their attention. We can continue our vacation.

The staff was professional, however the wait to be seen and diagnosed was over 9 hours, reason was there was not a doctor available to read test results until late in the evening.

This is hands down the worst hospital in the United States. They take 5 hours to give your blood results. And they don't even check your blood. Why is this hospital still here

Don't come here if you're having problems for more than a month because you're just going to sit in the lobby all day and night until they feel like it

The doctor was thorough and the medical assistant was rough around the edges. I've taken my son to this hospital twice since the ones closest to our house are awful in Arizona. I didn't receive a bill the first time and everything was billed correctly. The second time their billing department hasn't submitted a claim to his insurance until I spoke to 4 representatives and a supervisor. Now instead of owing around $400, I owe $700+ and they STILL HAVENT SUBMITTED A CLAIM TO THE CORRECT INSURANCE!!! Not only the correct insurance, but they didn't ask to verify the correct insurance address either. I've gotten 7 bills now and they call AND text me repeatedly saying there's a balance due.Monica in their billing department takes great joy in not being an effective listener and not doing her job at all actually. After speaking with Christina, a supervisor, is when I received a bill for nearly double the amount. This was the last bill they were notifying me with before sending me to collections!!!This is medical harassment!! DO YOUR JOB AND QUIT HARASSING PATIENTS!! I'm sure I'm not the only one thats frustrated with their lack of professionalism and ethics. Would never go to this hospital again after dealing with this minor issue that could've been easily solved.
