Vanessa at the front desk is rude and the managers don’t help at all nor does it tell you about hidden fees… haven’t had a tv since we got here won’t change our rooms or fix the tv and can’t sleep with the noise. Luxor is way better just saying and you need to fire that girl at front desk

We didn’t stay here but are tourist from Detroit and we had to visit “The D”casino from one of your own. It was beautiful and a reflection of our city with a Detroit staple such as The National Coney Island restaurant and Andiamo restaurant! Well done!

Ive edited my review based on a recent event******(We love this place. Great music, upstairs staff is great, especially Bia. Never won big there but it's good energy)*****The above was my original review of The D, however last Saturday we experienced a horrible worker and I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!We still love Bia and we had a good time, even though Bacon Nation was closed (again) and thats why we went, to eat. We ate at Adiamos and played a little. We didnt stay long, maybe 2-3 hours. It was myself, my mom and my daughter, who drove us down there. She accidentally lost our parking ticket, and so when we went to leave, we had to ring for help. We knew we got 2 free hours of parking, so we waited for "help" to exit the parking deck."Help" arrived in the form of a little man, in a suit, that was too big for him. He informed us that we owed $20. No one had been behind us up to this point, so my mom said "We are locals, weve lost our ticket, we have been here 2-3 hours, is there anything you can do?"His response was "Yeah, I can trespass you"Trespass us?!?!?!?!Ive lived almost 50 years, acted a fool in many places, NEVER been trespassed or threatened to be trespassed in my lfe!!!By this point, I was very angry and a car pulled up behind us. Being a considerate person, I pulled $20 out of my purse, so the people behind us didnt have to wait. The bar raised and we left. And we will NEVER be back! We go there often (or used to), we have free play, food credit, know the waitresses (we will miss Bia), but that was disgusting and uncalled for. Im still angry and it happened 4 days ago. In the long run, The D will miss out on a lot more than $10, which is about what we shouldve been charged. It wasnt even about the money, it was about my mom simply asking a question and being threatened with a trespass! They dont have to worry about trespassing us, we wont be back.

First time staying on Freemont. The D has a fun atmosphere, great food selection, quiet rooms and you step right onto Freemont. Will be staying here again!

I truly enjoyed staying at The D. The service was great, it’s so convenient, our rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Having valet parking makes it all better. Uber picks you up quickly. Being on Fremont is great. We didn’t know what to expect and they exceeded them. We’re going to stay again.

Craps tables on weekends are $25 min. Dealers are ok. Some friendly, some rude. If you dont like your job change it. Management needs to change things.

$4 per hour for parking in the parking garage. That's insane. Also, when we checked in, they didn't have our reservation. We reserved a room with a king size bed & got a room with 2 queen beds. Our TV also did not work.

It could have been a good hotel but the service was pitiful. After making a reservation through a third-party booking company, we arrived at the hotel reception at 3AM. To our surprise, the room had already been occupied and there were no vacancies. We saw each other at 3 in the morning on the street. They claimed that we did not confirm check-in time and that they could not help us.We could not confirm check-in time since our flight was delayed several times and none of this was specified in the reservation.Disaster of attention and alternative solutions, zero empathy and no management, they treated us like cattle.Booking refunded our money after fighting with them, but we had to look for a hotel in the wee hours of the morning, tired and with all our luggage on our backs.

Really enjoyed the stay overall. The suite we upgraded to was great, although there were a couple issues with the air conditioning and the televisions but they were quickly addressed. Randy and the team at the front desk were very helpful. We enjoyed the coffee bar right there by the elevators for morning latte and bagels. The only bad experience was one over stressed security guard who flipped out because we used the pool phone to call and report there were no towels available. He came charging out to the pool yelling that that phone was only to be used if someone was drowning. I'm in the hospitality business and you do not treat guests that way. Reported it to the security office and I did get one phone call to follow up but then nothing after that.

NIGHTMARE. this place is a heck hole. completely hotboxed with cigarette smoke, pounding music, drunk shouting people everywhere, I think the staff was pissed before I got here, maybe before I was born which is crazy because I'm older than them.I'm currently battling THREE hidden fees totaling $250 that they put on me including, charging a room deposit on a night I'm not booked for, room deposits in general, tripling the fee on my third night when I extended it an additional night, (even though I can book that night for $50 online not $150) and then lying about it (they said room rates triple on Thursdays even though I can see right on the internet that they have not tripled. when I asked them to honor the original rate they refused and had me just cancel my third night instead of honoring the $50 rate that I can see perfectly well online) and charging a surprise $35 fee on a package I had shipped here which they did not advise me of beforehand. First room was insanely loud, I'm now in a "quiet" room that is also insanely loud. Even on the 35th floor, there are buskers below and I can hear every strike on the drum, every shriek on the street below. There will be no sleeping at the D. HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE. Despite my slathering on the niceness they would not waive the package free nor let me book the third night at the base $50 even though I can book it online. In sum, insanely loud, super smoky/ smelly, and constantly trying to trick you and rip you off at money. The service is a joke. They won't help you with anything or remove their scammy fees. It's like being in a bar at 3 am with wasted people everywhere having to shout at the top of your lungs at the front desk to hear. Nightmare. Bare bones rooms no fridge etc.Not only do they not help you with luggage but you have to leave your ID in order to check out a luggage trolley then bring it back even if your uber is waiting. This place is absolute hell.
