Larissa is a professional in customer service. She is very knowledgeable in various types of materials. The work she does exceptional. She has designed a dress, a shirt and tie for us. Then Larissa altered a men suit for us twice. We are very happy and pleased with her work.

A friend recommended Larissa having used her to alter her wedding dress. Larissa was very personable when I met her and has a warm and welcoming manner. I met Larissa a few times to look at options for my wedding dress as I was due to have a baby several weeks before my wedding. Through discussions about alteration options on my mermaid style dress, I concluded that buying an a-line wedding dress would be most appropriate. When I returned to Larissa who I had good text communications with and updated her of my new needs which was to make my new dress more fitted around the waist and add straps. I also had a traditional dress that I needed opening up. I had asked on a few occasions for the price of the alterations however this was not confirmed. In jest I said ‘let’s pray it’s not $1.5k’… When my dress was finally altered about a week before my wedding, I was charged me $650 for my wedding dress and $200 for the alterations to my traditional dress which had the waist and bust area opened up. I expressed that I was not expecting the cost to be so high, and was told that my Larissa had made sure she kept my cost well below the $1.5k that I had previously joked about. Whilst this was true, I was quite disappointed and expressed this. Larissa said she was disappointed by my response too as she felt her costs were reasonable. My alterations were done well, and the fit was good however I received my dresses un-ironed which I would have expected to be included in the cost. If you are OK with Larissa’s prices, then I would recommend her services yet I would also suggest shopping around as you can certainly find more competitive rates.

Larissa is the BEST!!I’m very tall and needed a mother of the bride dress for our daughter’s wedding. Larissa measured me up and created the exact dress I wanted, in no time! It took about three weeks from start to finish. I had so many compliments on how beautiful the dress was! She’s extremely talented and very professional. Super easy to work with!Since the wedding, two of my family members have asked Larissa to create something for them. We are very happy to have found her and will continue to use her services!

Larissa is magic! When I brought her my wedding dress, I thought just the straps and length needed to be altered but the second I walked out of the dressing room, she knew I would need an extra clasp on the back and the hips taken in in addition to the straps and the length. She also added a bustle. Once she was done pinning it looked like the dress was custom and made specifically for me. She is an absolute genius and wonderful to work with. I will be bringing all future items that need to be tailored to her.

Paid for a rush order. Went to pick up my rush order a week later, and she tried charging me again. Got home to try on the pants I needed hemmed only to come right back because the pants was still in the same condition I left it. She forgot. I never received an apology or refund. Went to pick it up the second time around and the pants are still way too long.

She was very nice but very unprofessional, she told me that should would create a dress for my birthday which I needed by September 1st I asked her before will it be able to get done she said yes.. so I got there and she told me she wasn’t able to complete it because of her having “pageants” and other things which was clearly more important than my birthday (something she never shared before) and her whole demeanor was rude and never even tried toAccommodate with anything moving forward very tacky. I have talked to “Larrissa” plenty of times for months prior and she was very nice so to see her behavior as how she treated me was unacceptable. Nice person nasty behavior towards me (of course being black) it was very clear and didn’t even properly greet me welcoming me into her business.Service: Design
