I am very happy to say I have never experienced such warmth and kindness at an establishment such as a hospital, from the nurses to the doctors and technicians and maintenance to the food delivery and the people who clean my room. Every single one have been a true Blessing and to know that humankind is still loving and giving. Thank you Summerlin Hospital. . Also the care and thorough treatment I'm receiving is above 5 stars!!

Hey it's Brent.
Just saw a memory pop up when I visited this hospital last.
Did you know that when a fat guy has chest pains and the EMS comes to save you and they see a bag of weed on the counter, that I must be over dosing off of it.
Bc that's what they thought.
And then they proceed to tell the er nurse in charge their uneducated opinion that I'm over dosing off weed.....
5 hours after I'm discharged, I'm back at UMC trying to breath, and come to find out I'm nearly septic from my gall bladder that has fully failed.
Over dosing off weed must of led my gallbladder to fail.... Said no one ever.
Y'all suck and I'm too nice.

The ER staff was fine but I had a massive internal bleeding issue happening and had to wait nearly 2 hours for an anesthesiologist to show up to do emergency surgery. This led to multiple blood transfusions and BP medicine to keep me stable until they arrived. What kind of hospital doesn’t have an anesthesiologist on staff - especially in an emergency room? It was a liability that caused a much longer recovery and hours of additional pain that were not necessary.
Post surgery, the surgical recovery ward was amazing! Best nurses, hands down!

I was in the ER today and EVERY staff member in interacted with even in small moments did an EXCELLED job going above and BEYOND what is expected of them on what seemed to be a BUSY day in the ER. Sure wait times suck and there was a lot going on, but all the staff seemed to be centering patient needs and safety in every decision they made. It was refreshing to feel supported both physically and emotionally on a really hard day.
They made the best of what was a VERY hard day for me. When issues were out of their control they shared the reasons why, showed empathy for my situation, and did all they could to minimize the impact of the challenges of a busy ER on their patients.
To the hospital administration all of these staff deserve a raise, extra support, more resources, and all the perks you can think of because they are doing some of the hardest work out there. Please make sure to do this so they stay in their jobs because we need them.

The staff is amazing. I feel very well taken care of. Mary is is so nice and a very good nurse. All of the CNAS have been amazing. The ER staff was great. I just feel very well taken care of here and I'd highly recommend everyone come here. Great job to everyone.

Bad experience with my elderly mother , too.much to be into ! Will never return to this hospital ever. Nurses were very nice everything else was awful.

No updates. No follow up. No phone calls. Even after requesting this several times. On hold for over 30 minutes. Transferred more than 5 times when trying to find loved one patient. Could not understand nurse. Was made promises for call back and received not one call. Left wondering once again and now have to try to do this all over again.

Summerlin Hospital is an excellent facility. Staff very friendly and professional. Outpatient staff were excellent.
