I moved to a new apt. On 10/01/23. I used Starving Students movers, two hispanic men did the move one did not speak english, the other did but not very well. While moving my oak computer desk they dropped it off the furniture dolly and did heavy damage to it. The man who did not speak english told the other he would be back on 10/03/23 to repair it he was a no show. I have called Starving Students multible times now, I was told by a man named Alex that someone would get in contact with me, I have not heard anything from anyone. It is now 10/10/23 I still have not heard anything from them. DO YOURSELF A VAVOR AND USE ANOTHER MOVER. THIS MOVING COMPANY DOES NOT DO GOOD WORK AND THEY HAVE VERY POOR PUBLIC

Many of my items were extremely damaged, they broke a tv and a bed. When asked about it, we were told we would receive a partial refund and then no one from the company is answering emails or giving a straight answer on the phone. I do NOT reccomend.

The company is well organized. The office handled the booking really easily. Everything went well. Moving is never fun but I will use them again. I know they have been around for a long time.

I have seen thier trucks around for years. Everyone in my office said they were good - they did not lie ! 5 star all the way ! My only advice is be ready to go or it will take longer!

Damaged my house and will not fix damages. Consulting an attorney and you better believe they will be paying for the damages and my attorney fees. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

This move was entirely all too expensive & had hidden fees left and right. The crew was not at all what we needed and was unprepared entirely for putting together our bed. In the middle of the night, our entire bed collapsed under us. When I called the next day to complain, they did send someone out. However, when I asked for my deposit back, they went radio silent. I was generous with my time, and tip. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but at the end of the day, they made this experience more stressful than helpful.

This is the worst company. One of their moving trucks hit my parked car in a highly illegal hit and run. There was an eyewitness who saw the whole thing. I filed a police report. Now they are ostensibly trying to collect damages for an accident that was 10000000% their fault. Greedy scoundrels and criminals. Do not support this business, literally patronize any other business. Criminal idiots.

They were 3 hours late showed up at 4 when they knew my storage closed at 5. They told me they could store my things over night in their lot, then the day after I rides lots of clothing and jewelry gone. I know they're a good company for giving ex cons a new start but come on now. These guys were at least 45-50years old not students.

Seeing as this company fronts as a legitimate business in order to get their employees to verbally agree to work long and laborious hours, only to ghost then like true criminals and leave them financially stranded, I would highly suggest not trusting these people with your credit card nformerion or belongings

DO NOT USE YOU WILL BE SORRY! They are not what it used to be!!!! Sadly, I used them to move us for the third time because I never had a problem with them! However, this time it was the worst experience! The fellows whom moved us hardly spoke any English; did not matter if our boxes were labeled- they did not put the boxes where needed; left equipment outside instead of putting in the garage and it rained. Our home is brand new, and they managed to scrape our wall when putting in the master; furniture scratched; bed broken; bikes scratched. Furniture not broken down and wrapped, therefore, they tried to bring it out, which it did not fit ruing the door jam from our other house!!! A table that I've had for 12 yrs belonging to my Dad never scratched in mint condition, which I got when he died...RUINED! It breaks my heart!I called and spoke to Gio R., whom stated he would speak to the supervisor, however, five days later, still no word from Gio R. or a supervisor! $2000 mistake! If there were zero stars...thats what they would receive!!!

Everything went seamlessly! Joe B. , Lous, and Joe R. I must say , they were friendly, caring and concerned. These men worked quickly, efficiently, and courteously. All items were shrink-wrapped or padded. Some our thing were very heavy, but they were able to maneuver around various obstacles including a chandelier. It was as pleasurable as it could have been.

I will give 4 stars because one of the guys was smoking and the smell got on my stuff. Otherwise the move from booking to moving to billing was really a great performance

The xomnpsny that moved me before was booked up. I really only called these guys cause I was in a pinch. Boy was I surprised. 3 guys, flawless Job. Jon was in charge. I frankly don’t know how they get such good people to do such hard work. The guys were telling my about some of the weird moved they did. They moved someone and a swat team arrived, it turned out they went to wrong address! OMG. Someone ought to do a tv dhow about starving students!

Very reasonably priced, items were wrapped nicely. I had a large piano and handled with care. Moved 2 room's worth of items quickly! Thanks you so much ❤️
