Stopped by to grab some new plants for the house and heard this was a location with a good selection. This description was very accurate and they do have a great variety of plants.Unfortunately there is limited to zero guidance as to where things are in the nursery so unless you have been here before and know where things are, you may find it frustrating to find what you’re looking for. Also there seemed to be a lot of employees around doing tasks but there was one guy at most walking around asking customers questions and assisting them. We asked a worker where some plants were and all we got was a vague point and “over there”. Apparently there is no training to actually engage with customers or actually show them to plants.Long story short if I know exactly what I want and can get a workers attention then I may return to comb their options.

So many workers walking around but not one ask for assistance. What ever happened to good customer service. Pots are very overpriced.

Update: I have contacted Lori, and we are working together to remedy the situation. Some of the syrays have been fixed and released back. They've committed to keeping most of the friendly ones. One has been placed into adoption. We're working on the remaining stray ones. Lori has been very helpful!!Horrible!!! Why is the new mgr, Lori, removing the cats and trying to cover it up?? She can contact me or any rescue/trapper and we help place the friendly ones. The other Star locations keep and love their cats. They're great to get rid of rodents. The news will be notified.

I shop here often and love interacting with the adorable cats. Word is that the cats are being removed due to the new manager Lori not wanting them there even though we as customers enjoy them. How about we remove Lori and keep the cats. I will not be shopping at this location until Lori is removed and will spread the word to my many friends and family who purchase from this location.

Why is your new manager Lori slowly getting rid of all of your nursery kitties? They provide customer comfort and free rodent control. The lies this woman is telling. 3 cats already gone. Having employees lie to customers about the cats, placing chemical cat deterrents to try and block them. I will never support a company who allows their manager to abuse animals.

Management at Boulder Hwy location is actively "getting rid of" Star Nursery's community cats. Several of the company's locations have community cats on site that help with pest control. Some are even friendly with the staff and customers. I personally love the experience of seeing kitties while shopping. I'm disappointed to hear of these changes. I will not be shopping at this location because of these changes.

I see the lady manager of this place wants to have animal control get rid of the community cats that have had a home there. Doesn't mind if they are killed, apparently she hates that they are there. I frequent Star nursery, definitely never setting a foot in there ever again if this is the kind of evil human who helps run this place.

Why is the manager there having the cats removed. All the employees love them and so do the customers. I won't be returning if she does this.
