UNBELIEVABLE!! I WAS JUST DISCRIMINATED AGAINST FOR BEING WHITE AND HAVING PURPLE HAIR AND WEARING A LEATHER JACKET.. IN A PREDOMINANTLY BLACK OR MEXICAN NEIGHBORHOOD. 1ST THE MAN TOLD ME I HAD TO LEAVE MY PURSE AT THE FRONT OF THE STORE WHILE CONTINUOUSLY TELLING ME THAT MY BAG IS NOT A PURSE AND I COULD JUST CARRY MY WALLET AS MY PURSE!! THEN HE ASKED IF HE COULD SEARCH MY BAG. EVEN AFTER I COMPLIED HE STILL TOLD ME I HAD TO LEAVE MY PURSE AT THE FRONT OF THE STORE.. NOW I ASK YOU LADIES HOW MANY OF YOU AT 9:08pm ON NELLIS AND STEWART AT A GROCERY STORE (WHERE THE PERSON WHOS TELLING YOU YOU CAN NOT BRING YOUR PURSE INTO THE STORE IS NOT GOING TO BE KEEPING AN I ON YOUR BAG) HOW MANY OF YOU LADIES WOULD BE LEAVING YOUR BAG AT THE FRONT OF THE STORE? UH NO I DONT THINK SO. HELLO CORPORATE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE HERE I COME!!! ORIGINALLY I THOUGHT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT MY RED WAGON AS I OCCASIONALLY GET GRIEF ABOUT IT. AS I WALKED AWAY FROM THE STORE HE MADE THE COMMENT, "ILL JUST SAVE YOU THE HASSLE!" I HAVEN'T HAD FOOD IN MY HOUSE IN 3 MONTHS! NOW I GET A BABYSITTER TAKE THE BUS ALL THE WAY HERE AND IM TOLD IN ORDER TO BUY FOOD I HAVE TO LOSE MY PURSE! HOW THE HELL DID YOU SAVE ME HASSLE?

I think it is Absurd to leave my elderly Grandparents no options on getting these new digital coupons when they're not cell phone savvy. The only way nowadays to get a discount is to download a stupid app. This is crazy and terrible at the same time. I guess they will have to shop elsewhere!!!

I'm writing this review because I'm an older woman who was using the self checkout and when I was done I decided I wanted to purchase something elese ...as I began to walk back towards the meat department this big tall white boy asked me to leave my bag at tye counter....because I was not allowed to take the bag with me ...I Said u was just going to get something to add to my purchase he said I could leave the bag or he'll go I said you can go giving this much thought because this did happen may 18th 2023 I decided to write this because no one once to say racism is going on but I felt like because I was a person of color I this white boy was being racist and he continued to have small talk because he felt stupid when I didn't act a fool...with this being said I hope people will stop the BS and allow people to fell free with out being treated as a criminal I don't know tye white boys name but I will get it on my next visit I am a smiths shopper for over 40 years never have I been told to leave my bag because I wanted to go back to purchase another item which I have done many many times with no problem 4965 E sahara is the location.....

I always leave this place with a smile. I noticed that the employees that are here have been here for a while. The cashiers have friendly conversation and the staff around the store are always pleasant. Even the security guards give you a nice smile on your way out . Thank you mngmnt for a clean store and wonderful employees

One of the better Smiths locations in Vegas. I shopped here a few times when i used to live in Vegas. Store is a bit more cleaner with better customer service. Store is bigger it seem with more food choices. Parking is bigger in a better area. ALways a pleasure visitng here.

They had no carts up front, went to two lines that shut down when I got in line and was rude about it. I just left my items and walked out. I will go to another store to get my items that cares about its customers. If they need to close a store, this one should be on top of the list.

This review is for the receiver. Very rude for no reason every time I've came here. I guess people skills are not a requirement. Couldn't even be bothered to let the department I'm delivering for know I was in the dock. Made me go walk around the store myself. Very unprofessional would give negative stars if possible

I like smiths this review has nothing to do with the store but Marcelli's actions today in the liquor department is why there's one star. I picked up a six pack in the liquor department and she said I had to pay there" I was fine with that but I asked if she can ring up the rest of my groceries and she looked like she had a attitude and grabbed my cart and turned it around all aggressive with my son in the cart. So my son started handing groceries to her helping out and her face! Was nasty looking and looked like she was unhappy working there or something but she definitely needs a talking to about customer service or get another job

This SMITH'S is hands down, the absolute WORST grocery store in this crappy city. U can never get assistance when you need it. And God forbid you show up at or just before closing time, for just milk. Even if they have the doors open. They will still turn you away like ur nothing. They will still shew u away, even if you tell them all you need is milk they don't care it says a lot of Smith's. Their employees have forgotten that we're all in this together so we all need to have compassion for each other and care for other people more than just ourselves. If there's anything that we got out of this pandemic you think that would be it. I guess the whole Smiths grocery chain didn't comprehend the simplest of lessons last year and this year shame on you Smith's!

I don't know what happened this morning May 2, 2021. I usually have great experiences here. I went in around 6:30 am. No one greeted me at the door (ok, fine) employees talking near the entrance (ok, again) Produce stockers ignore me (ok, fine), go to deli - no one is there. The guy in the seafood department looks at me, then looks away. I then have to go up to the other guy in the seafood department, to ask for someone to come to the deli. He calls, 10 minutes later, still no one there. Oh, but the produce guy managed a 'good morning' to another customer. I leave the deli, because the seafood department had ignored me, and I was waiting there like a fool. So I go to self-checkout - again no greeting, but a few employees were giggling and having a grand time. This was my favorite Smith's for 4 years! I will take my money elsewhere, clearly, my business is not wanted.
