Silver State Schools Credit Union is a premier financial cooperative founded in 1951. It provides a wide array of services including checking and savings accounts, personal and business loans, mortgages, and online banking. Members report very good customer service in person at branches, describing tellers as friendly, helpful, and creating a welcoming "banking family" atmosphere. The Flamingo branch is noted as awesome with a comfortable flow, no long lines, and efficient service, such as completing a large funds transfer quickly. Many members have been with the credit union for ten plus years and highly recommend it for everything from loans to regular banking. While some phone service experiences have received negative comments, the consistent feedback highlights accommodating, friendly, and personable in-person interactions that make members feel treated with great service from beginning to end.
First off, I’ve been with Silverstate since 2006. I love my credit union. I’m a little disappointed that at the Tropicana branch as she quoted me a lower interest rate and when I went to pick up my check the interest rate was 2% higher than what was quoted. From 5.74 to 7.94 😢

The Silver State CU is one of very few places in town that provides warmest and genuine services. The branch manager at Eastern and Tropicana, Mr. Chris Hernandez is super great! and all other staff also always wonderful. My family has been a customer of Silver State Schools CU since fall 1999.
