Do not use this place if you love or care about your pet. They botched a spaying job for my female dog. Next day I had to take her to emergency surgery @ VEG for internal bleeding because they couldn't fix her because they don't have the experience. Due to their negligence and lack of attention to detail. It cost me $4,100.00 @ VEG to fix their mistake.

Been taking my pup, Dug, to Dr Arteaga. He’s great, very upfront and passionate about animals. Also, I love the staff, they are so gentle and playful with Dug. Dug loves going to the vet and see them.

Dr. Arteaga and his team are awesome. I set up an appointment for a vaccines update as well as a checkup for my pup who was having issues with her ear. In all, I think I was in the office for maybe 45 minutes. The tech came in and took the vitals and she took my girl back to be examined by Dr. Arteaga afterwords. He came in and explained what all was going on, provided me with information as to what could potentially be causing her allergy issues, and gave me both medicated ear drops and treats for allergies/skin issues. My experience was beyond great, and I’m very picky with who takes care of my dog. I will absolutely be returning for anything that may come up. Thank you all so much!!

Please, read all the low star reviews and stay away from this place!!! Scam of a veterinarian. He wanted to put my 12 year old dog under a surgery for something that could possibly be cancer without testing it for cancer first.
Update: below comment from the vet is a lie as they never suggested during appointment to send anything for testing. They suggested to operate right away. This accident happened 1 hour ago. I am in my clear mind to take everything as it is as it was voiced by the vet during the appointment. Them blaming their incompetence on a client is another reason why I would suggest anyone to avoid this particular vet clinic. Raul Arteaga is an embarrassment to the community and to Washington State University.

I've been taking my pets to Dr. A for 20 years. He's great and to the point, no bull. Staff is awsome as well.

Dr. A nearly killed my friends pet by prescribing a laxative for a cat with IBD and soft stool to the point where this cat was DYING, absolutely undermined the owners request for steroids and when we went to another vet, was told that Dr.A's choices for prescription makes no sense and I genuinely believe he's trying to kill her cat.

Dr Artega and staff are wonderful. The staff is always friendly and kind to the animals. Dr Artega if very good. He always. calls your babies the kids. he takes time to explain and always answers your question. I would recommend them. if you really want a caring animal hospital.

Dr A has been taking care of our.various furbabies for 30 years. He is always kind, straight forward, and compassionate. He keeps up with the new things coming out and our Honey is acting like a puppy again! We now live on the other side of town but I happily drive the 45 minutes each way for our fur babies to see Dr. A. I trust him more than any Vet I've ever had and I know he will always give our pets the best care possible.

Today i had dental surgery to pull out 2 baby teeth that was left and to clean my dogs teeth and i was super anxious/ anxiety since its my dogs first anesthesia… but the doctor and the staff here made me feel less anxious when i dropped him offThey did sooooo good on hes teeth and i am soo happy !!Ive been coming here for 3 years and they have been so good to my dogThank you for caring raider !!!!
