I drive 30 minutes to use this clinic. I've seen Dr masters the most but Dr Johnson is also amazing.

I really appreciate this animal hospital. Two times on a Sunday when my pittie had stomach issues, I brought him here and both times they saved the day!! I don't have dog insurance and both visits were reasonable in price and treatment. Both times the doctors understood I didn't have a lot of money to spend and discussed with me options to try before going into treatment more expensive. My pittie is very reactive (not aggressive) and did absolutely fine with the doctors here with his muzzle. The staff was very welcoming and took special measures for my boy so he wouldn't get too scared and react. I also love how each visit they put a message on the dry erase board welcoming my boy. Love it here and highly recommend for your pets.

A bit disappointed that after having to euthanize my dog, a paw print and a piece of her hair wasn't included in the condolence card like they used to. Something so simple and thoughtful.

Rainbow Animal Hospital has really gone downhill since the original vets have left, dr wolf and dr Patton were awesome, as well as dr vansant, who may still be there, but hard to get an appointment with. I had to wait almost two months to get return calls about my cats blood test results, Which revealed some major issues. I finally requested the blood results be sent to me, and discovered one of my cats were critically ill, but no one bothered to return my calls. After over 25 years of being their client, I am changing to a new vet hospital. They just don't seem to care anymore.... Such a shame. Office staff has always been fantastic. Very disappointed with new dr Johnson. Very off putting. Again, such a shame.

I noticed my cat wasn't acting his normal self and decided to call around who could take him in asap. All the other nearby vets were either by appointment only or completely slammed. I called rainbow animal hospital at 225pm, explained the situation and was offered either 230 or 5pm that day. I said I'd take the 230 and rush over and the receptionist was able to take some of my info over the phone to get things started so they'd be ready for me when i got there. From there Dr Vensand and the tech (I'm so sorry i can't remember her name) were amazing. Super understanding and compassionate about the situation while also informing me of everything i needed to expect from pricing to my kitty's care. I got an estimate for his stay from the low end to the high end of what it could be, then was offered time to figure out what my decisions would be and to see if i could qualify for other payment options. (I saw some other negative reviews regarding pricing, but I did ask and WAS offered alternative plans to care to see if my budget could work around it) During his stay, i got phone call updates twice a day (morning and afternoon before closing) with how the bloodwork was and how he's been doing and when they expected him to be discharged. I got a post follow up call as well after some more cultures came in and to check how he was doing since coming home. I 100% recommend this place for your emergency needs, the staff were all so kind and considerate. From the front desk to the Dr & Techs. Thank you!

Was told one thing for pricing then charged another. Staff needs to communicate better.

Stay away from this place they are the worst. Had a appointment at 4:45. Showed up at 4:35 sat in lobby for 30 minutes while they ran around trying to take care of all the people they overbooked. Place closes at 6:00 so I'm wondering if my dog is gonna get a through exam. At 5:25 they move me over to the cat side because they got to many people in the dog waiting room and dogs going crazy. People are standing inside and outside waiting for their pets and these people are just lost. This is a good example of greed and stupidity. I don't run your business but I wouldn't have that many people waiting to get in for their assigned appointment if you can't see them on time. Poor business management and poor customer service. You know what these people are coming in for so if you knew and how to book patients. You overbooked and I'm assuming you this is a common practice with this office. Stay away and if you've had the same problem, please post so we can help them to understand what they don't.

Stay away from this place. Greedy, greedy and even more greedy. Had a one hour appointment, over $1,000. When I complained about pricing, the vet recommended more testing!! I think the vets at Rainbow must get financial incentives related to the amount they "bill". Sleazy and greedy.

This is not our normal vet, but because it was a Sunday our vet was closed and our very old, ill cat took a turn for the worst and we made the difficult decision to end his suffering. I cannot say enough about this vet. They accommodated us and fit us in the same day, they were so kind and compassionate to myself and my children. We were all very upset so I can't remember the name of the very kind doctor who laid our baby to rest but he was a young gentleman dr. He was so kind and when I explained I got that cat in my late teens and was a single mom I couldn't afford proper vet care and his health had suffered over the years due to it, he did not judge me at all and was so understanding. The front desk ladies were so wonderful, and even on the phone so incredibly sweet, and accommodating. Even when we returned today to bring our baby's ashes home they were so sympathetic to our loss. They were about $100 more than our vet but it was so worth every penny for the amazing care we received and them accommodating us, last minute in such a difficult time. We cannot thank you guys enough for helping our baby cross the rainbow bridge with dignity and for allowing me and all 4 of my kids to be present with him until the last moment. (Which my vet wouldn't even do, they only allow two people which we hated when we had to put our family dog down a few years back) we will def be using them again if ever we find ourselves in an emergency situation and need immediate care and will probably use them solely if we ever face this decision again, as the experience with them really warmed our hearts and brought us so much comfort in a moment we really needed it. Thank you so much.

Dr Vensand did a great job with our cat who went in with some bladder issues. She's a very nervous, shy cat but Dr V and his staff were so friendly and attentive our cat felt so at ease. Highly recommend this clinic for a vet who takes care of your pet with the utmost care and follows up to keep you in the loop every step of the way.

I've been with this vet office for a while, but review is for Dr Vensand, Deonna and most recently Dr Johnson, Shanika and the entire office staff. When my 10-year-old-large-dog had a stroke in Feb of 2022 Dr Vensand, Deonna, the assistants/techs and office staff were incredible. Supportive, empathetic...I could keep going. Since she is a greyhound, my dog has certain medical considerations that many vets are not familiar with but Dr Vensand was well informed on the breed and I felt very comfortable with his knowledge and practice. This last week we brought our senior chihuahua mix into Dr Johnson to examine a lump. The doctor was gentle, no-nonsense and I just loved how she cared for our dog. Shanika was assisting and she was so kind and good with handling our pup through some scary stuff. Dr Johnson came up with a plan, presented it clearly and concisely (and made sure we understood), and made an estimate based on the discussion we had about it. I feel confident that any future care will be in good hands with Dr Johnson. We were in and out in slightly less than an hour and didn't feel rushed or pressured at all. Dr Johnson and Shanika spent a good amount of time with us and the procedure for the test was done immediately. Office staff were kind and sweet and I wish I got their names too but I was distracted. The lady who checked us out had bright red hair and amazing nails and she was so lovely. What both doctors have in common, and something that is very important in these expensive times, is that nobody EVER pressured us into costly procedures and tests. They take an investigative approach and go step-by-step rather than bombard you with a ton of confusing and pricey tests and procedures right off the bat like *so many* of the vets in Vegas. They are extremely well-priced and don't guilt-trip you in already difficult situations. The facility is a welcome relief from these bare, heartless, corporate vet offices these days. It feels family-run, the tiling on the floor gives me big-time nostalgia and there are separate entrances for dogs and cats. If you're thinking about it, do it. They're great. I used to work in vet med and I'm so impressed by them. I feel like I've found a diamond in the rough.

Dr Vensand has been a Godsend to my Bruno who was having several seizures daily. His expertise as a board certified vet and staying up to date with the most recent medicine and research resulted in restoring Bruno's health and the elimination of seizures!!
