Updated review. The trip got worse, house keeping and front desk staff are just absolutely terrible. I’d recommend going to another hotel and just coming here to either play or eat at Mables

We stayed on the Palm Place side for our vacation March 22-28. Our room was excellent and we did love the location. The buffet was delicious and service was also very good. We swam on the private side of the pool on the 6th floor and our cocktail waitress was so friendly and always happy. The bartender Casey in the Laguna Restaurant was top notch. Now on to the resort security. Which failed BIG TIME! Multiple guests were complaining with us about a room below us partying for 48hrs blasting music and could hear the music coming up from our pillows. This went on for 2 days straight. Security did nothing about this until the cops were called. After the cops were called they showed up and the man took off and they told us they can’t do anything about it until he returns. It’s floors me that management would let this man return and not kick him out for good. As it continued for more nights with nothing resolved. NOT IMPRESSED. Management gave us a $100 credit for food which was nice but we were on spring break with our family (2 kids) and would rather have sleep on vacation than a food voucher. Hopefully they can resolve this problem SOON!

I was urinated on from an upper floor while on my balcony. Front desk acted as if I was bothering them when I called to complain.Update. I was there 4 nights. 3 of those nights, an upstairs neighbor urinated onto my balcony.Safety: May get urinated on when on balconyNoteworthy details: Poor customer service

I will disclose my room number once we check out. I am currently staying at the palms place. I am on a high floor with a strip view. All I can tell you is that the room is dated and filthy. The icebox has mold in it. I'm afraid to put any of my water bottles or juice bottles in there. It smells so bad. And the icebox that's on top of the mini fridge is broken. I will post pictures. The bed frame was white and now it's brown. It looks like the do a fast cleaning just to turn it over to the next person. What I didn't know is that these were timeshare units. I booked the hotel through Southwest. My husband and I usually stay at Red Rock casino but they were sold out. I must say I was very disappointed. With such a large casino name and the product being extremely dated and dirty. I was very disappointed. Also to let you know that there is a $100 a night deposit fee. So if you are staying for 7 to 10 days. That may add up. Especially for a family. Also to mention that the Lanai doors do not open. You must call front desk to ask if they can open the door.Ultimately the question is what I stay here again. The answer is no. The room was filthy and dated.

I have been a huge fan of palms place for years now. In fact I have been a loyal member to ONLY their property for every 5 weeks for the past 6 months. People always ask why I like this property and until this time I love the rooms, location, staff etc. this time the front desk crew except for one gentlemen was extremely rude and uncaring. You will get stuck on your floor with no way to get up or down due to their elevator problem. I would call the front desk from the emergency phone because i was unable to get off my floor and nobody would answer. The overdesk girl was so incredibly rude. I stayed for 10 days total and what a night mare. This property can be great but this will be my last time here

We went yesterday (March 23, 2024) , for our friend Teresa birthday celebration! I hadn't been there in a while. Surprisingly, the place was clean and well organized! The young man at the elevator with loc's in his hair was very friendly and helpful! The room was absolutely beautiful! And the views were breathtaking! I mean from every window! We had a great time! Thanks for keeping up the hotel ! ? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I stayed at the palms place hotel and spa for four nights with my sister for a girls trip/ vacation type of deal. However this was absolutely the worst visit to a hotel I have ever been on. Firstly, they didn’t allow me to check in early because my room wasn’t ready so me and my sister decided to visit some nearby family and just explore Vegas a little before we could check in which they said would be any time after 3 p.m. We honestly didn’t care we had to wait until this time we just thought sometimes rooms get finished early so maybe that could be this time, we actually didn’t physically check in until almost 6. We go to our room and the entire room isn’t even ready. No towels/ washcloths, both phones in our room weren’t working so I couldn’t call the front desk to let them know. I had to go down stairs to tell them myself. Two lamps were also not working and this was all found out the first 20 minutes I checked in. The next morning the toilet overflooded and the sink was clogged. Again I had to go downstairs and tell them because my phones weren’t working in my room. The receptionist couldn’t even give me a time on when these broken items in my room were to be fixed. She shrugged her shoulders and told me there’s nothing she could do and if I had to use the bathroom to go downstairs and use it. Fortunately someone came within two hours and “fixed” the toilet and sink. However the next day the toilet flooded again and I had to let them know again the plumbing in my room was backed up. I told a different receptionist the second time and she gave me an attitude like it was my fault they have plumbing problems. They “tried” to fix the phones but the phones never worked. We also didn’t get much housekeeping services either. I had to track someone down just to get toilet paper or the trash taken out. The last night we were there my sister had to go downstairs and tell them we needed toilet paper and they handed her a roll instead of calling housekeeping which I thought was odd at first because it’s never happened to me before when I’ve stayed at other hotels. A housekeeper that gave me the towels the first night asked if they were charging me for towels and I said no and he said I was just wondering because they charge some people! Like why are you charging your hotel guests for towels?! The hotel lobby also smelled like straight marijuana which me and my family are sensitive to. I don’t think I’ll ever stay at this hotel again because honestly that was a waste of money.

Palms placeI’d like to start by stating that the whole reason we picked to stay off the strip was the accessibility to red rock and valley of fire which was our main objective for this trip. Palms place had amenities that met our needs (kitchen, bedroom, two bathrooms, pool for the kids, exercise room for us) at a reasonable price for Las Vegas on a moderately busy week. When we arrived on a Wednesday we were able to check in early, which was great, and were greeted by a bell man who offered to take our bags up to the room. That’s where the pleasantness of our stay ended. Thursday night, after going to eat and returning the hotel only had one elevator running so we, along with many other, waited around in the lobby for quite some time before getting a cart up. Friday morning we woke up to a very significant crime scene at the entrance of the hotel which caused it to be blocked off with no entrance or exit from the front of the lobby. That was not a concern, we actually figured that would be the case but the only way out was to go back up to the second floor, over to the Palms casino and exit from their property. That was relayed to us, and other guests by a security guard stepping in front of guests abruptly and asking them the obvious question of “are you checking out or trying to leave”? Well, that was obvious. We needed a key swap since ours was not working so my husband went to the front desk and managed to stand in front of the desk without any acknowledgment for some time, even though he was the only guest there. We moved on from that and went out to red rock for the day and hiked with the agreement to our kids that we would come back in time to go in the pool, even if it was only for thirty minutes. We did that! Got back in time, changed, headed up to the 6th floor with twenty-five minutes to spare! Once we got to the pool we were stopped and told they were closing the pool. I asked the lady who was in charge of telling us this why, if we still have twenty-five minutes to spare? She said she was aware of what time it was and they were closing anyways. No, “I’m sorry for the inconvenience, it’s incredibly windy.” Nothing. So disappointing, add to that, their gym was also closed but oh, you can walk over to the palms as use their gym. No thanks, the whole reason I would use this one was for convenience of being in my hotel. Every employee on the property had a role which was apparent but they were not willing to go beyond that. This morning before our departure, I called down to get a cart for luggage and it was going to be a thirty-forty five minute wait because the gentleman was on his own. We chose not to wait, but yet there were multiple employees standing around downstairs. I, in no way, expect to get catered to or to feel like I need attention but I do expect to have common courtesy and some type of accountability when we are paying guests at the hotel. We will not be returning to Palms Place in Las Vegas. Such an unfortunate experience during a memorable spring break for our family.

If you are booking this hotel because you have kids and you think this hotel is more kid friendly, then you are looking at the wrong place. I booked this hotel because it is free of casino (but close enough) so I thought it might be a good option. I was wrong. I was very disappointed esp considering its price including the resort fee. First the hallway was full of heavy marijuana smell as soon as we got out of the elevator. Secondly there was no two queen bed options so the kids needed to crush on the sofa bed, which was extremely uncomfortable given how flat and dirty the sofa bed was. There were no plastic cups in the room (I would never trust the glass cup in the hotel because you never know what people use it for). When I asked the front desk for plastic cups, the answer was “we don’t have plastic cups here.” Overall I won’t recommend this hotel to family traveling with kids (or without kids, to be honest, there are a lot of good hotels at that price range).
