Amazing business! The workers are so empathetic with their customers. Very helpful with any questions and concerns you may have. I will take all my animals there going forward!

I have been going there for years and they have always taken care of my pets. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

They saved my dogs life and I will forever go to this animal hospital. It is not the best location but it has the best veterinarians and not over charged.

We had our 2 dogs boarded at this facility December 22-26. This is not our typical vet, but unfortunately had to use them due to last minute circumstances. Our dogs were taken in and completely normal and healthy. We picked them up on the evening of the 26th and one had developed a cough. We took her to our typical vet, got a diagnosis of kennel cough, and got put on antibiotics/steroids/cough tabs. $150 vet bill. Our second dog began showing symptoms the following day and we began administering meds to him as well. He continued to worsen to the point where we had to take him to the emergency vet where he got a diagnosis of pneumonia and this resulted in a 2 night hospitalization for IV fluids and antibiotics. Over $2,000 bill. We began trying to reach out to Tropicana to ask about the incident and spoke to 3 people on 3 different days who kept telling us the manager will get back to us. She finally did on 1/10/2024. 10 DAYS after our initial attempt. She told us that we had waited too long to reach out, questioning why we didn't return about the incident (why would we bring our dogs back there?!), and told us there's no proof their sickness occurred as a result of the stay at their facility. When in fact, it was, because we picked them up and went straight home with symptoms beginning just a few hours later. We asked for at least our $ back for the stay at their facility to help cover some of the vet costs, which was a total of $400+. They offered $175. And no empathy whatsoever. We are disappointed with not only the lack of empathy, but the fact that they couldn't take responsibility. I understand that kennel cough is highly contagious and definitely is a risk for staying in boarding facilities, but the fact that they didn't take responsibility and our second dog developed pneumonia as a result was deeply upsetting.

They have done a great job caring for our girl, Pomsky! She had a bug and was dehydrated. Also have had her teeth cleaned there and they didn't over use anesthesia. Another vet did and she was so sick.

Took my male and female doodles to get spay and neutered. The price was reasonable compared to my vet. I learned that you get what you pay for. The appointment was easy. (Walk in hrs) The procedure was brief. The staff was professional and the office was clean. I was a little taken back at the stitches that were placed in my male after he was neutered. It has been 3 weeks and he has healed with less scaring than I expected. Both dogs healed perfectly and all the information and medicine was excellent. definitely an in and out shop. I don't know if I recommend but they did their job.

Best caring animal doctors and staff. It's all walkins and emergencies every day 6am-11pm. Reasonable prices. Call ahead to be put in the queue and check in when arriving. I currently live in Phoenix area and haven't found a veterinarian that compares in care and pricing, if you can get an appointment. Emergency costs are outrages

It's taken me almost a month to write this as losing our cat has been a really traumatizing experience (this hospital worsened the situation) I'd like to preface this that I've been a veterinary technician and a practice manager for almost 10 years and cannot believe the lack of empathy and organization from a hospital. Unfortunately, my cat Oliver got out a couple days before Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, he didn't have his collar on (we had taken it off because he was sleeping with us and his little bell made a lot of noise) and he was not microchipped (my fault I know) A Good Samaritan found Oliver, he had been hit by a car and she took him to Tropicana Animal Hospital to help him. She found me through my nextdoor post that I had made about him. He was too injured and had to be euthanized. I called Tropicana animal hospital immediately to try and get some sort of confirmation that it was in fact Oliver. As you can imagine, I am heartbroken, terrified and an absolute mess. I'm talking to the front desk asking them if the cat they treated last night was a boy or a girl. Receptionist said they didn't know, the doctor didn't check. I then asked them how much the cat weighed as I knew Oliver was 9 pounds, she again said they didn't not know, they didn't weigh the cat. At this point I'm shocked, again, as a vet tech having worked with many doctors, this doctor didn't take a moment to weigh my cat for proper treatment doses and didn't bother seeing if it was a boy or girl. The clinic would NOT give me any more information as the "doctor couldn't remember and needed to talk to the tech that helped last night" How does a doctor not remember a cat they treated as an emergency, that had been hit by a car and had to be euthanized?? A complete lack of empathy and just goes to show how uninvolved and heartless this doctor is. I sent them pictures of Oliver to show the doctor to try and get confirmation it was him (I also asked if they still had his body so I could come ID him, and they didn't have him, they turned him over to the cremation company immediately) After showing the doctor the pictures, the receptionist comes back and says "we don't think that's your cat, the cat they euthanized last night was very sick and emaciated" And that point I had a sense of relief that maybe it wasn't Oliver. The receptionist said the doctor would call me at 8pm once she talked to the tech. Well, I called the cremation company and they said they only picked up one cat from that clinic and it was a long haired cat and didn't match the description of Oliver, again, got some more relief, however because it was the day before Thanksgiving, the cremation company was already closed and they wouldn't be able to look at my cat to confirm until Friday. I called Tropicana back and asked them if the cat the euthanized and helped last night was long haired and not the short haired cat, again, they said they kept no records of what they euthanize and what gets sent off to cremations. I was shocked, they didn't even given him a name in the system to match what they wrote on the body tag. Needless to say, the doctor never called me. On Friday, the cremation company called me and said the clinic definitely mislabeled everything and the cat was not a Long haired cat, he was able to confirm that it was my sweet Oliver. This clinic put me through hell, gave me false hope with their disorganization and lack of care. A doctor that doesn't remember a critical injured animal they just treated? A hospital that can't label body tags correctly or keep record of anything? They can't sex a patient or bother to get a weight/color and take proper medical notes? Do yourselves a favor and do not bring your pets here if you truly care about them.

CLOSE YOUR FACILITY DOWN AND DO A THOROUGH CLEANING!!! Took my dog there for a simple spay and she caught some virus that lasted for 3 weeks!! All in all, my vet bills totalled almost 2k to try to figure out what was wrong with her! A week later, I know of a litter of puppies that were dropped off for shots and then spay and nueters and most of them got sick as well. It was on the news that a very contagious virus has been going around. Do something!!

I brought my pet here a while ago and looking at the area I didn't think it was gonna be a good experience but, the staff showed that Tropicana animal hospital is a diamond in the rough. Even some of the busier people it seemed like they still made time for me and my questions I was roomed quickly by Lexi and she really set my nerves at ease about my dog, I would say Imma very paranoid person so was on edge until she was able to really bring me back down to earth and reassure me that I was in good hands. The wait for the dr was long but dr southern when she got to me was apologetic and took her time. I was there for a long time honestly but I'd have to say between dr southern and Lexi it was all worth it me and my dog thank you

10/10 great service. The receptionist upfront are very welcoming and helpful. Everyone kept checking up on us and letting us know we're we are in line, you can call ahead to take a spot in line. I highly recommend this facility for all your pets needs. At check out I was helped right away, unfortunately I didn't have my visa and only American Express, the girl that helped was able to take a payment over the phone. Very helpful. Everyone was very nice and kind.

The girls upfront are amazing, came in with an emergency and they rushed my baby back. We're very carrying. Helped me fill out the forms, asked if I needed water, and put me in the next available room. The service was outstanding. My baby is good, now resting comfortably at home. Would definitely recommend this hospital for the customer service alone. Prices are very reasonable.

I came in last week on tuesday with my husband, I have never seen so much chaos at an animal hospital. We came in at 6pm and the receptionist right away told us it's going to be a long wait, that didn't stop us, frankly I felt bed for them as people wouldn't stop complaining about the wait, but the way they explained they didn't have any open rooms, and emergency patients were a priority. Watching the girls work together to get people in rooms, clean, and check people in and out made me want my daughter to work with them, I took an application for her. An emergency patient was brought in and the girls quickly worked together to rush the pet back and put the worried parents in a room, all while working together to charge people out. They had Tom and Jerry playing in the waiting room which helped pass the time. After about 2 hours we were finally put in a room and were seen by Dr. Southern, a very sweet Dr, who we shall see from now on. At check out i got everyone's name, because I was genuinely impressed with how everyone worked. Lexy was the one who put us in the room and came back with an update of when will be seen, Paloma was the girl with pink hair, she checked us in and gave us paperwork to fill out, Stephanie was the girl who cleaned rooms and checked in on parents waiting in the lobby, and Lena was the one who checked us out, told us how to use the medication, and let us know we can call ahead to be put in line. 10/10 I would recommend this hospital to everyone. the wait time is bad, but so is the emergency room for us. Stop complaining and giving everyone a hard time because of the wait.
