When you walk into Moon Valley you feel like you have been transported to an oasis! What I loved the most is that Moon Valley provides full grown trees so that you can actually SEE what your tree will look like years down the road. Darin patiently drove us around looking for trees and shrubs...he was incredibly knowledgeable and never gave us a pressured sales pitch! We bought 3 trees and twenty schrubs and are so happy we did! Thank you Darin!!

I love Moon Valley. Have been shopping here for years, but today’s experience was really special. My interaction with Lori was great. She is so passionate about what she does and helped me pick a couple new additions for my garden (which I usually do on my own) Before I left I interacted with Shane and he was also extremely helpful. In all the years coming here these two were the most personable interactions I’ve had.

We have had several great experiences with Moon Valley! This spring we remodeled our large front yard. Then we got hit (like many others) with this unusually hot summer and our new trees and shrubs all died. Moon Valley is replacing all of them, no questions asked!! Eddie Molina is a ROCK STAR!! Throughout the summer as my trees were declining, I would stop by with pictures....worried that my trees may have a disease or that I'm doing something wrong. Eddie always reassured me that they were just reacting to the extreme heat and told me not to worry, if the trees didn't make it, they would gladly replace them. I have referred several friends and family to Moon Valley and will continue to send everyone I know to Eddie!!

My tree fell and the supporting rods went broken today due to the high wind. It happened to have a moon nursery truck at one of the neighbors houses, I went and asked if they can give me a quote to fix the tree and they told me they will do it as a courtesy. (Before I asked them, I got 2 company gave me quotes about $175 and $250)
Thank you so much moon nurseries for the help!! (Not sure which moon nurseries it is but big shout out to the team that served Cadence area today!)

I cannot share my full review at this time for legal reasons.
I called them and spoke to them about my trees in the back yard due to a very negligent maintenance person (not them) who turned off my timer and didn't turn back on. (Trees in peril.) I was very emotional and scared. The guy came out to my home almost immediately. He quoted $7,000 to rip out and replace four trees, some smaller potted plants, and redo irrigation in a small patio'd yard.
Their quote to rip out tress the guy could not decide $1,400 . . . $1,800 . . . $1,400 . . . $1,800 then he "guessed" he could "get it [the price] for me for $1,400 to rip out the trees. This truly bothered me, him going back and forth not knowing how much.
Plus, that guy promised he'd send the estimated work order and never did. (But a few years ago I was told they did not install the drip lines, so I am wondering if they sub-out their irrigation?) I am so grateful he didn't send the work order, because I was pretty much ready to purchase, he scared me even so much more.
I do need my yard fixed, but there's a trust issue now. I don't appreciate they way this was handled simply because I was teary-eyed and scared (which is how I feel). They've shaken my trust. Perhaps if he'd sent the work order then I could go over everything and maybe see the value? They have a good selection, but all of the trees I wanted also were over at Star nursery, some for a lot less. Also, it bothers me is paying $249 for "delivery" and $150 for a warranty for a year. If they are planting, then they should deliver it and warranty their work. Then, perhaps, the higher prices would be more realistic.
What happened to the days of building a solid reputation on honesty, hard work, good advise, and customer service?
I intend to update my full experience but cannot say much at this time.

What I love most is the super helpful staff! Gave me knowledge that has lasted years and their moon juice is the difference between survival and death for most of my plants!

They misinformed me about their inventory and made me drive 30 minutes to learn that they don't have what I need. I don't see what's the point of doing such a thing since Moon Valley isn't a car dealership

This place is AMAZING!!! The prices are too good to be true and the flowers are in amazing condition. All their plants are desert acclimated already. And the staff is SO HELPFUL! Z helped us and he was amazing. So knowledgeable and helpful. I cannot rave about it enough. I will be back!
