Booked a Roadside Assistance yesterday through our national Michelin Account at about 140pm my time. Our truck had blown a trailer tire near Nipton CA. WE HAVE A MOUNTED SPARE and only needed somebody to come out and PUT IT ON. ETA given was 90-120 minutes. 3 hrs later and no show, new ETA given another 90-120 minutes. 3 MORE hours later and still no show, Michelin called them and was told truck had been dispatched 1 hr before, eta 15-25 min. Still no show. Called Michelin again, they called TA, TA told them they were in the area on ANOTHER call before us, new ETA 90-120 minutes from that time. Also they told Michelin they had been in contact with my driver when they had not been AT ALL. I asked Michelin to phone around and see if there were any other options, and Michelin found a different company to come out around 830pm my time, who showed up 75 minutes later (Las Vegas to Nipton CA is 71 miles, so the other guys basically headed out immediately) and had our tire changed within 15 or 20 minutes of getting there. Honestly, TA Las Vegas gave us and Michelin the WORST service I can ever recall my company getting. If I were you, DON'T take your vehicle to TA Las Vegas for repairs or service and DON'T call them for roadside assistance.
I would give them zero stars if I could. Terriblle, terrible, TERRIBLE. I will be recommending to Michelin that they be removed from their authorized partner list. And the company that DID come out told my driver that this TA has lost ALOT of business to them recently, even some big contracts. DON'T GO THERE.

I get it’s a truck stop but to work all day, park and try to get a meal, WHY WOULD YOU SERVE THIS TO ANYONE? I wouldn’t even serve this to my dog. Shame on the young gentleman that thought this was ok.

**Avoid This Place at All Costs!**
I brought my truck in for a simple PM and an oil pan gasket replacement, expecting professional service. Instead, I got a nightmare. Paid for new bolts, only to find out they either used the old ones or overtightened them, resulting in bolts broken into the engine frame. And guess what? They haven’t taken *any* responsibility for this disaster so far.
To make matters worse, they installed the fuel separator filter without an O-ring—completely unacceptable. Instead of solving my truck’s issues, they gave me more problems.
As of now, no one from management has bothered to reach out or offer a solution. I'm still waiting on calls that never come. Horrible customer service, zero accountability. I'll keep posting updates on how (or if) they handle this mess. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

My complaint is about the poor condition of the showers, they are really disgusting, unhygienic, I don't know if this has an audit or not but I feel like it should be done as soon as possible, the shower is number 11, it is possible that they are all on the same deterioration and dirt. I don't know how they can provide a person with this type of service. Please, if there is any authority that intervenes here as soon as possible, check the air, I think it even has mold, just like the floor. It has been the worst experience I have ever had in a TA.

It's pretty sad the way truck stops treat truck drivers now days we buy 1000's of gallons of fuel from you daily purchase 1000's of dollars of products out of the stores and restaurants daily even pay 1000's of dollars a day to park our rigs but yet we can't drop our trailer to go take care of personal business walmart doctor dentist ect ect ... it's time these truck stops learn who made them and who supports them and make an example out of how bad they actually treat truck drivers ... if I haft to pay for the spot then we drivers should be able to drop our trailer that's the least a truck stop could do to show support for truck drivers ...

If I could leave 0 stars I would. No squeegees at truck islands along with no papertowel or water spickets working as well. Inside 1 cashier working with a huge line of people waiting. Bathrooms inside are dirty and no soap in soap dispensers and they are broken (how are employees washing hands? ?) also no paper towels in the bathroom either... save yourself the time and pass this one up they don't like or care about customers or truckers at all. Also no free truck parking all spots are paid spots at 30$ a night. What a joke and nightmare this place is.

I purchased a reserved parking online, and it showed 37 spots available. However, upon arrival 22 minutes later, there were NO parking spots open. I called and spoke to an associate, explaining the situation, but was told there's nothing they can do. They do not have security to enforce parking, and I feel it's wrong that we paid for parking while 30 + drivers who did not pay were able to stay. I asked for a refund and was told to call Corporate or submit a request online. I called Corporate, but have not received a response two days later. I filled out an online form but it wouldn't allow me to submit. I have had negative experiences at this location before, unclean bathrooms, and frequent visits from the "Ladies of the night ". If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. I do not recommend Travel America in Las Vegas to anyone.

Worst place to take your truck this place is garbage.waited 5hrs for just a rapid oil change and all the techs were doing were just chatting..not a reliable place to take your truck!

Be careful here. Thieves set up shop here. And TA is the only truck stop that doesn't have a tire pump. It's the worst compared to other truck stops. And the stuff they sell is ridiculously expensive. If you park late at night, the security guards charge $10. Just use the bathroom and leave.
