Where to begin on this nightmare...I took my car in for an oil change to this Midas on 1/4/24 after purchasing a Groupon. While paying I was immediately hit with hidden charges, my car (any car that was brought in) exceptionally needed one more quart of oil than was included - no big deal, take your $11. While going through this process the girl at the front desk had her phone on the counter where the photo was herself in not regular bdsm lingerie but more risqué, even for the genre. Whatever floats your boat but not professional to have out at work. Next, I get asked if I want my tires rotated. I say sure but please make sure the lug nuts are put on properly because I've previously had shops put them on loosely. Another upsell- NBD. I then go take a seat in the waiting room which has a door to the shop. A bunch of the workers are huddled on the other side of the door inside the shop talking loudly so that the conversation can well be heard inside the client waiting area where we get to listen to graphic conversations about "f******* women," "titties out and bouncing around" and those are the tamest portion. These conversations went on for a good 15 minutes and for good measure they BEGAN SMOKING CIGARETTES INSIDE THE SHOP (hello flammable material and a series of public health law violations). I record most of this, including video of the cigarette smoke, which permeated the client waiting area. I get my car and see the lug nuts have been tightened so hard, they're stripped. Great. I find their corporate number and give them a call. I then continue to follow up and manage to speak to someone at the main office who says they had forwarded it to the branch manager who said I was never there. I call the shop and get my service number and then ask the manager Mark why he lied and moreover why he allowed that behavior as he was walking in and out and saw everything. I then call corporate and give them my service number. I don't hear back for ages and follow up and am told they passed my information to the shop to allow the district manager to try and solve the issue. They claim he had been calling me but couldn't reach me. This was a bald faced lie as I had no 702 missed calls nor voicemails and the rep at corporate was able to reach me just fine and leave messages. I let the rep at corporate know that this is dishonest and I have little faith that the district manager can help as all this happened under his watch... I never hear anything from the district manager and call corporate again, and then I immediately get a call back for corporate letting me know that the district manager (jimmy) has been trying to reach me but I never answer or call him back, simultaneously I receive a call from a 702 number and I call back. A person named Chad answers and let's me know that he's the manager of the shop Jimmy is visiting that day and asks me to call Jimmy back in 15- sure, I have no life apparently :$. In our conversation about the issue, Chad begins being condescending and is really dying to take an immature dig and ends the conversation with "ok darlin!". I let Chad know I am probably older than him and a doctor and as far I know, we have no familial or romantic relationship for him, a younger man, to call me "darlin" and it's 2024 Chad... I call back and get to speak with Jimmy, ask him why he has never called me and why he didn't bother to leave a voicemail this time as people are unlikely to return calls to unknown numbers. He lies and says he doesn't know why he didn't leave a voicemail. I explain the situation to him and he tells me To bring the car in to inspect the lugnuts. I tell him NOPE for a number of reasons: ive already provided a repair estimate from my dealership shop, I live between states and will not be back until May and I have no trust in anyone that works in any Midas shop. He says he's going to speak with the owner and see what he can do. I don't hear anything back so I follow up with corporate. Then on 2/4

I first found this place through Groupon & I'm so grateful. I've been back for repairs & oil changes several times since then & their prices are always reasonable, even without a Groupon. They are friendly, honest & surprisingly prompt for how busy they are. Mark & his team do great work, never try to recommend something you don't really need & are very accurate with their time estimates regarding repairs.

I called about break resurfacing before driving here and they said it is a provided service. I made the 30 minute drive here and when I got here they don't do that! They tried to sell me on new rotors!

Came in for a full synthetic oil change I got through Groupon, they recommend that I get 5W-40 since it’s a European vehicle which was $50 on top of what I paid, it’s not even necessary to have in the winter and not even what the manufacturer recommends. I declined their offer and they recommended that I get my tires rotated which I needed. A few days later I realize I’m missing a hubcap on my tire, I believe they must have loosed it during the rotation so now I have to buy a new one, these guys are incompetent, would not recommend going here.

I made an appointment to get my tires balanced, assuming it was the issue with my car's excessive vibration issue. Mark was very accommodating and offered their team to test drive it and check it out. It was very convenient for me that they figured out that the issue was the control arms and that I also needed my serpentine belt replaced and rear shocks. The services were done same day and professional!

First and last time I will be bringing my vehicles to this shop! Made an appointment to bring my vehicle in for a standard oil change. Nothing more. They were two hours late getting to my vehicle! It never once occurred to any of the staff to inform me that they were running behind. As I could have made other arrangements. Instead they treated me as if I had nothing else to do. Very inconsiderate!! I will NOT be coming back, I will NOT be recommending this shop to anyone!

They always have amazing deals on and will work with you once you get into there location. Purchased an oil change through Groupon, came into the store to inquire about nearest availability and the person at the desk said next Wednesday, December 20th. It is Friday, December 15th, 2023, 10:20a.m. Availability times online say there are multiple slots open for an oil change appointment for TODAY, starting as early as at 12:30pm. So I suggest the location either fix their scheduling system, take Groupon offers off the inventory altogether, or just service customers with integrity. Complete waste of time and gas even driving here. Not coming back and definitely canceling the Groupon.
