This store has horrible management and human resource practices. They seem to take advantage of the minors that work for this store. It's extremely sad that because these workers are young and not as knowledgeable about their labor rights that the management team here uses that in their favor. The human resource department does even seem to care because they do not respond to inquiries. Horrible management practices and not a great place to work if you are under 18.

ordered a frame online and received two texts and emails. First one stating they got the order and the second one stating the order was ready for pickup. Waited in line and woman stated pickup was located in bins by the line. Previously you picked up at the counter and before that it was at the framing department. Anyways my order was not in the bins and the woman found it in a shopping cart. My ONLY problem is the attitude with the statement "we didn't have the time to put it in the pickup bins". It came off like it was my fault for coming in before they had time to do so. Well don't send me a text then saying it's ready for pickup. Going to use Amazon...

My review is strictly for customer service as well. I've been shopping at this store for 10 years and the customer service is nonexistent. There is never anyone on the floor to help you. Since they put in the self checkout kiosks they really want absolutely no contact with customers at all apparently. However, the most current issue is the nasty older lady cashier with dark shoulder length hair and bangs. I have been in this store and encountered her 3 different times (including an hour ago) and she is just straight nasty! I asked a question about the coupon I used. Her response, "Well if you would have read the coupon you would have known" with an attitude like I was inconveniencing her. I shouldn't be berated for asking a question and I certainly don't need the attitude. This employee needs to go. You can clearly see the pattern of reviews recently that all have horrible things to say about her.

This review is based off customer service only!A very rude older cashier woman should not be working with customers at all! I had a return and nobody in line as it was Saturday at 10:05am. Cashier- I can help you at 2Me- perfect, I just have a return Cashier- that's why I said I can help you at 2 (very rude with eye rolling)Me: shocked Cashier- totally refund is $10.75 in cash back Me: I used my credit card, but okCashier: I'll have to call a manager to put back on card (again rude with the facial expressions)Me: no worries, is this my original recipe to keep? (As it was laying on counter)Cashier: yes, that's why it's there (rude again)She put the money and return receipt on counter and walked away from me.Called the store right and spoke with the manager. She knew exactly who I was speaking with and said she will handle it as it's not the first time.

Only one employee in the entire store. Only three customers in the entire store at 10AM on a Saturday. Needless to say, no customer service at all. I left and went to AT HOME. The place was packed on a Saturday morning. I got more products than I had anticipated because the prices were excellent and the customer service was great. I expect Michael's will be gone from existence soon. Too bad. It used to be a great store but no longer.

Received absolutely terrible costumer service from an older female cashier when ringing up my purchase. She didn't bag my fragile items up with care, and after slamming them on the counter I had to ask for tissue paper to wrap them myself. Then I asked about using a coupon with the "buy more save more" promotion they currently have and she quickly dismissed me with an attitude claiming my items were already on sale and the coupon wouldn't apply. I told her the coupon did not say it was for full price items only and she proceeded to rudely tell me I was wrong. After leaving the store, using the Michael's app, I put everything I purchased in an online cart with the discount and the coupon did apply to my purchase. Extremely disappointed with how I was treated during this visit.

Today I tried to put away the stuff that I purchased after the Christmas. And I found out that I got some missing items. So that I went to the store and the manager helped me with those items. And even without the receipt, but he gave me the products right away. I have to say their customer service is the best! I will come as often as I can!

Been here a few times this month for Christmas decorations... made the mistake of going inside the restroom and it was super disgusting and dirty... not sure if the employees use this restroom but it definitely need some TLC and a deep cleaning...

The store was pretty well organized, all employees were super helpful and polite. They had several deals throughout the store plus their app had 20% off one full price item. They also had a somewhat small variety of items left over from Halloween and fall items discounted. Overall love coming to Michael's for crafts!!
