“Was quick and easy. The only thing that I have to complain about was the lady at the desk told me "we stop taking samples at 2:00. It's 2:01." I said are you serious? You aren't going to let me pee because I'm one minute past 2:00? She looked at me for a moment and said I guess go sit down.
I'm thankful she let me stay. But almost had to waist another day over one minute late. That's crazy. Other than that it was a good experience.”
“This facility is great. Nice staff and clean facility. We are always able to get an appt right away for our sports physicals. We choose to come here and pay out of pocket for our kid’s sports physicals because it takes so long to get into our regular doctor. PA Kim was fabulous. Super nice, thorough, and explains the test. I like that she spoke directly to my son, even though he’s a minor, to have him engage and experience talking to adults in this type of setting”

“I am a very hard stick... I've tried to get a blood test 4 times in the last 3 months and all failed. Carlos, at this location, was able to get me on the first stick and fill all three vials in one go. This is where I will be going for any future blood work, and I'll def be requesting Carlos each time. Seriously. Made such a stressful event painless, quick, and successful.”
“I came in at the slightest hope that maybe I could be seen the same day it was late in the day but they were able to squeeze me in and was very polite about the whole situation.And were very discreet and helpful about my very personal matter, I ended up making them my primary care physician.The front desk associate Roxane and the nurse Gisselle were amazing being that it was my first time experience there and made me feel really welcome even though I didn’t have an appointment.I can’t recall my drs name but she was just as amazing definitely worth the 5 stars”

“Used the app to schedule my appointment (date was 6/10/25) and checked in with the text they sent me. Hadn't been here in awhile so was surprised to see no receptionist. There are 2 check in kiosks and a display board with names and times.
Lashay (spelling?) was so nice. Hard to find my veins every time. She did find it after a bit and told me because of the location it would definitely bruise. Glad she gave me the heads up because it bruised big time.
Received my results fast on my app too. Highly recommended.”

“My Wife and I had our first meeting with him last week. Myself for stomach issues I’ve been having for 5 years. My wife also stomach issues energy levels shaking and feeling dizzy. We were given Dr. Brewer card from a friend we called immediately after failed Doctor visits, blood tests, allergy tests, colonoscopies, endoscopes. We were frustrated and upset because we had gotten no answers. My wife’s last visit the doctor they finally said we don’t know what wrong after years. Then we saw Dr. Brewer and after our meeting with him we finally got the answers we were looking for. And instead of being prescribed pills to cure symptoms we had gotten actual supplements and nutrition along with diet to cure our problems. Within a few days we felt the effects finally we could feel normal after all these years can’t thank Dr. Brewer enough.”
“Great location for training events. The facility is clean, open and well set up for various types of classes. Many rooms with flexibility to handle small to large groups. The catered lunch was delicious with a great presentation. In advance of our event we had many touch base meetings and felt well prepared with clear expectations.”

He also wrote me an email to submit to the court along with my results at my request. I now have my parenting time with my daughter back. This is the place to go to, hands down.”
“I was a little confused where to go but once I got there, the check in process was very easy and fast. Once they got the results, they sent them to both me and my doctor. It was the first time I’d ever gotten my results and it was nice to see what my doctors in the past were talking to me about”
“Update: since i left this review, i think someone who works there read it and things changed. It's not been bad since. The people seem to have been kinder each time too. Idk what or why it changed, but it was for the better.
Every single time I've come here, the option to check in on your phone and wait on your car is given. So I do that because there are like 10 chairs in the lobby. But they text you to come in the exact same time they call your name. And unless you can run from your car to the lobby in 0.3 seconds, they'll say "we called you" and make you wait another 20 minutes. It's absurd and no one fixes this issue.”

“Really ideal experience! Shout out to "Piña Colada" Charlotta and her coworker whose name I believe was Veronica (I didn't actually meet her). They were amazing!I made an appointment online (this is a necessity, the line wasn't long but make the appointment online regardless). Unfortunately I forgot my lab order at home. Charlotta brought me in anyway and said "We're gonna get you sorted out no matter what, don't worry!" And right she was. They first checked to see if the digital database had my order. When that failed they said I could call my doctor's office and have it faxed over. Charlotta drew another patient's blood while I waited and the instant the fax came in Veronica added all my orders to my patient profile so they could take mine next.The staff were comforting, kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I had a great conversation with Charlotta while she worked; really couldn't have asked for a better experience! And I barely felt the needle stick. A tip, in case you didn't know: drink plenty of water before your appointment so your veins are easier to find!”

Brenda treated me. She does not speak Spanish and I helped her with a patient who did not speak English, the other girl was also very grateful.”
“I have been coming to this location for about two years and always have a great experience. A few months ago, I had to take my 6 year old daughter for bloodwork for the first time and the phlebotomist was wonderful. My daughter was crying and screaming the entire time & she was still able to complete the blood draw quickly and efficiently. I had so much anxiety about how it would go and I was happy with the care we received. I went in for myself this morning and not only was I in and out in 15 minutes, the phlebotomist was friendly and most importantly, I didn’t even feel the needle go in.”

“It's best to schedule an appointment and have everything you need ready like paperwork and your ID and insurance to make the process quicker too. I'd say the wait time is about average as most medical places are pretty short staffed. The staff is pretty nice and do their jobs well even if the place is pretty filled up they do their best. They're also very good at explaining and answering questions about procedures if you haven't done a specific test for the first time.”

“I recently moved to Las Vegas from Florida. I was very anxious about finding a new HIV provider in a new city. I was an executive leader at a very large HIV/Infectious disease clinic that was prominent in Florida. When I got here I was familiar with AHF and the work they do. I had not had great experiences with AHF in Florida. However I was gonna give it a try as resources in Las Vegas are not as available to the same extent as Florida. I can honestly say, what a INCREDIBLE team AHF on Maryland has. First off, how quickly I was able to be seen was outstanding! When I met my provider, Brooke, she was engaging and listened to my needs and where I was at on my journey to great health! She fights for her patients to get the care they need. She is educated, informed, competent and thorough! She’s also has a great sense of humor. Brook tackled some hurdles for getting my meds that I needed flawlessly and never grateful for her!
The MAs are so sweet and patient as well as the nursing staff! The lab is beyond efficient. The front desk ladies are so kind and keep this ship running smoothly. I have been about 8 or so visits. The provider and staff are always ON TIME and I have never seen them be behind or late all while providing above amazing care that is comprehensive and cutting edge!
AHF has made me feel safe and welcome and cared about. You are not a number here… They know you by name!

“The waits can be long and definitely do recommend arriving at least two hours before they open. Some days can be busier than others and it’s never easy to predict but once you are in there every one treats you kind, never felt feelings of judgement as we are all there to be responsible. Everything they do for the community of beyond helpful. Should you go, do it on a free day as again with it being a free testing site it can take some time and waiting. Be patient.”
