I frequently come into Mariana’s to get drinks and snacks, but never to the dining area, This time I decided to talk to the lady behind the diner and asked what items they offered on my day off and she explained they have Every day, including Medo and Baria(Which are some of my new favorites) She offered if I would of liked a sample of each, and I eagerly accepted, It was very hot temperature wise, so I was just letting it cool, While in that time security came over to me and said that the manager told him to have me removed from the store. I asked for what and he didn’t seem to know exactly why but he said because I can’t be eating for free and that “I know what I am Doing.” When I tried to contact the manager in the front area, she kept walking away and ignoring me I was very disappointed because I wanted to clear the air of the situation because I feel like there was some misunderstanding, but I don’t know what it was I am going to try to have dinner there after work sometime next week, but fearful that I will be given a hard time If so, oh well. I heard from the liquor store next-door that people get falsely accused of stealing alllll the tiiiime. Hopefully it was just a misunderstanding, but I wish you would’ve communicated with me instead of just walking away and the security guard was just doing his job, but he was rude and trying to escalate the situation. Saddened by the entire experience, which is normally a positive one.

I have always chose to come to this Mariana's over any other because their customer service and product was always great until yesterday. I went to buy some tilapia in the seafood department and my cousin stood in line and I stayed back and waited. My cousin looks very young, and because she looked so young they pushed her to the side, they would keep calling the people in the back to pass forward to order. I stayed quite and observed the behavior the lady working there was having, after she kept doing this I asked her if she would be helping my cousin out because I saw she kept acting as if she wasn't there. The lady working there said she would take her of her when she had time and if that meant 30 min or even an hour later I would wait if I really wanted too. She also claimed because it was too busy she couldn't see who got there first. She was very rude and still left her for last. 2 customers tried to tell her to take care of my cousin first because she had been waiting and the lady refused. How upset this is discrimination. And shouldn't be acceptable just because my cousin looks like a kid doesn't mean she should be getting pushed around. She's an adult and even if she was a kid everyone should get treated equally as we are all customers. I asked the lady working there for her name and she ignored me, and later on I found out her name was Delia by her supervisor. After Delia finally decided to take care of my cousin she was very rude to her when my cousin had done nothing to her and I was the one who had stood up for her. This is not ok!!!

They don't have staff in the butcher shop and in the cream shop the wait is too long...I think that the employees are leaving because the pay is too little for so much work...I hope the owner takes action on the matter...

The food does not have any flavor no salt no spices and very expensive compared to similar markets
