Amazing hotel. A little bit off 'the strip' but no biggie for any able bodied person. Feels huge but also cozy. Never felt crowded or busy.

Visited Vegas in September 2024 for my 60th birthday celebration with family! Loved the hotel. Extremely clean hotel. Most are the staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the Michael Jackson One show!! There is a mall inside the hotel as well as a variety of restaurants. The airport is close by, we used a taxi, it was $21 plus tax and tip. Around $30 -$32 bulks, not bad; it was cheaper than Uber. You can catch the Tram from the hotel to Excalibur hotel, then a short walk to the Strip where you can shop at the mall, eat at restaurants and buy souvenirs at reasonable prices. Buy bottle water at Target or Walgreens, too high at the hotel! Loved the beach at Mandalay, but it was hot! The cabana cost between $300 & 500. We didn't buy, they can only hold about 4-6 people. Overall, it was a great place to stay.
Noteworthy details: This hotel adjoins two more hotel and you don't have to walk outside. Just catch the Tram or walk through the hotel. Ask for a map at check-in from the desk.

The casino isn’t my favorite and its next to Luxor and Excalabur so it kind of feels like a less luxurious property just by proximity to those other two places but the rooms are nice and some of the best values in the MGM Portfolio. The pool is amazing and there are countless food and drink options as well as WNBA NHL and NFL within easy walking distance.
Rooms: Rooms are nice and a great value, if this hotel were Center Strip instead of all the way at the end it would be considered a luxury destination.
Nearby activities: Tmobile Arena, Raiders, Aces, tons of food and entertainment options.
Walkability: You can walk to Luxor, Excalabur, NYNY & MGM Grand super easily using walkways or tram.

The lighting in the bathroom and the room could be brighter! Even brought a LED mirror to help with makeup and it's still pretty dark with every light on. Great housekeeping

We had a nice dinner and a great view even though I fell.Safety: Lighting was bad at mid stairwell. I fell the day I got there, and it messed up my whole trip.

Rooms: Rooms are modern and clean. Delano suites are very comfortable. 5/5Safety: Seems very safe. Being slightly away from the center of the strip ensures that there aren't people who are just passing through the hotel. At night, the hotel towers have a security guard near the elevator. There are security cameras everywhere. The elevators have card based access control - this means you can only go to the floor where your room is located. You can use also use the app on your phone to open the door of your room.Walkability: This hotel is located on one far southern end of the strip. So there isnt much outside to walk to. There is an internal walkway to Luxor which goes on to the Excalibur (it seems the strip starts there actually). You can also take the tram to Excalibur.

I was put into a room I did not ask for. I booked and got confirmation on my two day stay, and upon checking in nothing was mentioned. We walked into a room that was completely different. Upon asking how they are going to rectify the situation or even give an explanation, they said they can’t, because all rooms are the same price. They won’t change the room/pricing/etc. Why give an option for a room if I get thrown into a random one? Also next to people in a huge suite who are screaming, so thanks mandalay bay, horrible first experience. Be careful booking, as you’ll get a random room you didn’t pay OR ask for!
