I've tried SEVERAL times to add Kalifano's 2nd airport location to the site, but each time I create the page it gets changed back to this location within a few hours, so I give up!!! I TRULY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY IT IS SO HARD SOMETIMES TO ADD A LEGITIMATE BUSINESS TO THE SITE!!! However, for those interested there ARE 2 locations within Harry Reid International Airport: The first is near Terminal 1 and the 2nd and newest is located in Terminal D near D32. This review was actually written for the 2nd location, but could also easily apply to the first. Now, on to the review:---Admittedly, I'm not a collector of anything other than memories. I spend the vast majority of my year taking photo's of my family at special events, parties, birthday's, vacations and often times when we are just hanging out together and the moment feels special. I then take all of those photo's and make a family yearbook. I've done this since 2009 and other than my kids art projects and awards over the years, it's the only thing I collect. However, if I were to ever be interested in collecting anything else it would be some of the AMAZING products here @ Kalifano. [ THE EXPERIENCE ] I was visiting Las Vegas for the very first time on a 4-day weekend getaway with my lovely permanent Valentine. After exiting the plane in Terminal D I came upon a large metal statue of Iron Man. I was so impressed by it that despite a very strict schedule I created to make the most of our time while in Vegas, I couldn't resist browsing through the store. It was a brightly lit space with white walls and lighting that highlighted their product the way an art museum would. Brilliant idea to have white walls because all the pieces really, really stand out.By far the main body of their merchandise are crystals. Some are half cut boulders while others have been made into bonsai trees and jewelry. There was even a life-sized Egyptian looking statue of a warrior with a bird-like face covering and staff. BUT THEN, in the back corner of the store I was blown away by a highly detailed, totally awesome statue of the alien hunter from the movie PREDATOR. This piece was so gorgeous I suddenly felt the need to buy it even though I have absolutely no need or room for it.Obviously cost was a heavy deterrent as I believe it was priced somewhere north of $16,000, but if money was no object... I think it would be sitting in my home RIGHT NOW (with my wife's blessing of course). It speaks to several triggers in my happy cells - creativity, interesting & unique, conversational, fun and purposeful. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that the metals used are recycled to give them a new life instead of rusting in some junkyard or buried and left for mother earth to sort out in a few hundred thousand years. [ PRODUCTS ]Aside from the awesome life-sized movie characters, crystals, jewelry and chairs, they also have gorgeous FOSSILS of Ammonites, Orthoceras, Basilosaurus Teeth, Moroccan Crinoid, Fish & Plants, Mammoth Molars, Megalodon Shark Teeth and even Meteorites as well as Native American made jewelry and fetish carvings. If that all weren't enough to wet your lips, they have unique keepsake boxes, love bird carvings, diffusers, crystal tealight candle holders and some pretty amazing gemstone globes! Oh, and for those of us who can't/won't afford a $16k Predator, they have much smaller, more affordable versions as well as Star Wars Droids, Imperial Walkers, Yoda's and even Vader and Kyle Ren. Also on display were metal Roman warriors and Minions! [ SIDE NOTE ]This location is fairly new, so it was difficult to find enough information to create the yelp page. They also have no telephone number nor do they show on the locations page of the company website as of this review, but corporate office said they're a small team and just haven't gotten around to it yet (yes I called). [ FINAL THOUGHTS ]Like I said, I'm not a collector of art. But if I were, Kalifano sells just the type of fun, cool, exciting conversation piec
