Josette has been my go-to antique dealer for many years. (Like 30) She is knowledgeable, fair and just plain fun to be around! Her store never disappoints with the variety and prices.

This kind of store is for very specific antique collectors, which I certainly am not. This isn't a good place if you enjoy digging and bargain hunting; everything is neatly laid out and expensive. Josette's is for more knick knack type things, decor, silverware, glassware, jewelry, and some furniture pieces. Even though these aren't my style, I can still acknowledge that this is a nice, little, and specialized antique store.

Josette, the owner, is a nice sweet lady knowledgeable about all things antique! We are spending the weekend at Vegas, so we thought we could hit up the antique stores here to see if there are cute pieces of furnitures to bring home. We first tried all the stores on Main Street, including medusa, old mans trash, and retro vegas, but we couldn't see anything we like. Finally we turned into Josette's store, and immediately we were greeted by her. We found a loveseat that we both love, but it happened to be not for sale, since it was her own piece displayed in front of the jewelry and accessories for customers to sit when they check out the jewelry. However, since Josette can tell that we really liked it, she finally told us we could have it for $100! While she made the offer to us, she kept the apologetic tone emphasizing that since she wasn't planning on selling it, the seat was not cleaned and might need some extra maintenance. Of course we didn't mind and were really grateful that we got the one-of-a-kind chair that we can put in our family room! Her store is well organized, unlike some of the antique stores that just look like s*** piling on the ground or random things everywhere, everything in her store was priced very reasonable and marked clearly. She also has one of the most beautiful handwriting I've ever seen! From our conversation with her, we found out that she was very familiar with antique, can easily point out the style and year for specific pieces of furniture, and she picks quality stuff for her store. From now on, We will definitely make it a stop everytime we come to vegas!
