IKEA is a fun store that really does have home decor. The store is like a giant fun house and should definitely be checked out at least twice. The restaurant was decent and moderately priced. Some of the stuff seemed a little over priced for the quality. Overall, we had a positive experience.

Always smells horrible and always out of things. Only good part is the soft serve and hot dogs. I usually enter through the exit and shop backwards through the store to not get stuck behind customers shuffling slowly blocking walk ways.

I've been eyeing this green bin for several trips now. On our trip today, we were pleased to see the price had come down to $22.99. We are in the house buying process so definitely in the stressful penny pinching/no big purchases until we close phase.
We get to the register, and it was ringing up $34.99. We used the help feature and an employee came to assist. He instructed us that we had to go find the tag and take a picture of it. (A request that is much more reasonable in a Petco or much smaller footprint store. I've always asked my staff to do price or signage checks themselves, personally.)
I had glanced at the name of the product on the bin and made sure it was the same as on the tag, because there were only two left. I did not scrutinize the label any further, who checks the item or barcode number on every item?
I had my fiance send me the photos when he made it back to the section. He noted that someone had picked up the other one (rest were all up on display/overstock.) He also found a similar item that was smaller, and sent me that one. I noticed in the picture, they stocked the whole pallet under the price tag of $34.99. Meaning, they were swapped. You can even see the imprint of the larger bins under the $22.99 sign. The name of the products are identical, and so are the item numbers expect for one digit. I told the employee that they had to been stocked backward, so they're all advertised incorrectly. I've got retail management background so I know enough to make sure to take a quick look at the tag, but they're close enough even employees got them swapped up.
The employee said he was unable to match the advertised price. He stated they were brand new (but I noticed them several months ago?), which didn't feel relevant or helpful.
We opted not to buy it. It just felt unreasonable to have us wait in line, run halfway back through the store, catch that all of them were incorrectly stocked, and then not have IKEA meet us halfway for a steep price difference of.... $12. Are they obligated? Nope. But it was a really disappointing interaction. We went to window shop and start planning for decor for a half million dollar home that needs blinds, new couch, rug, decor, dressers. It's not a money issue, it was more like we were being told our time and membership was not worth $12. I've never asked for a discount or made a return to IKEA.

My first visit to IKEA is complete, and let me tell you, this place is amazingly overwhelming. So much stuff to look at and decide if it fits my new IKEA nesting instinct. About the only thing I didn’t find was a little coffee table in the shape of a yin/yang. There are so many dining set options and it’s challenging to find one that defines me as a person. With so many options to choose from, it truly will be hard to have it all.
All that aside, prices are good, the staff we encountered were friendly, and the store is presented as clean. Only gripe is that the pretzels at the food place are a bit stale. Thank goodness for honey mustard.

Poor customer service. Bought a stainless frying pan that after the first use the egg got sticked to the pan and the pan got stained already. Took it to the store and the mgr said that she could mark it as defective, but she couldn’t give me my money back

Amazing place. Walked in to get the cubed storage and came out with a lot more stuff that was on sale and prices you couldn't beat. I love how IKEA has organized the shopping experience. They gave me ideas that I never thought of that would work well in my home. Their products are always great quality and their customer service is phenomenal. Parking is plentiful and carts are available for both large and many items. I didn't stop by for food this time but their meatballs are worth trying.

I drove 20 mins to go to Ikea. Wandered in to shop for some throw pillows. I found a great one but couldn't find a second one so I had the pair. I took the time to find three Ikea Associates for assistance. Not one of them was willing to assist. Each of them instructed me to go back to the 2nd floor to the home section and offered nothing else. No assistance of any kind. After a half hour wandering the store I gave up and put the pillow down and walked out.
What a lousy experience. Shame on Ikea for having a policy and associates that absolutely don't care about customers.
