H&R Block is/was fantastic for preparing my individual 2023 tax return. I don't know why I haven't used them in the past. My taxes are itemized and they were particularly complex this year. They were carefully prepared by a senior tax specialist and he was great to work with. Though I was very organized, I made three trips to the office to comprehend and review every detail and entry. It's good to sit down and go over the numbers and I was lucky to have had such a great tax specialist; my experience was outstanding. In my opinion, H&R Block's fees were very reasonble and they saved me over $600.00 from the previous year when I used a dubious CPA from Round Rock, TX. My cost this year was $465.00. Well worth what I paid. I will use H&R Block from now on. Highly recommended.

I come in for an appointment and then I’m informed there are documents I need. No big deal. My tax preparer said to make another appointment and bring them. I did. I show up at 5:00 p.m. - the exact time for the appointment. Then I’m told she’s unable to help me, wasting both my time and money. Then, the tax preparer (Ruby) has the nerve to say I must not have heard her, when she’s the one who made the appointment and said she can help. Not cool. You could have at least had the courtesy to cancel the appointment and call me - or at least apologize when you made a mistake. Very unprofessional. You guys set up the appointment, not me. If you can’t help, then at the very least don’t waste my time.

The staff are always friendly, professional, and quite efficient. They are always extremely knowledgeable, and never make me feel bad about any question I may have.... I trust them, and have never had a problem with my taxes the past 5 years I have been a client.

I like the availability in allowing me to select the time and the place to do my taxes. When doing my taxes my tax consultant always answer any questions or concerns that I might have.

We really appreciated being able to perform a large part of the tax return preparation online. The wait in the office for the scheduled signature process meeting was over a half hour long for a 15 minute procedure.
