Update—ok so I would encourage Hertz to make their lunch times public, so guests don’t come at lunch and have to wait for an hour.
Having said that, George was an amazing staff member to work with. He was kind, courteous and helpful in getting my reservation. I would use this location again :)

I had a reservation. The hours state they’re open from 7:00 am-4:00 pm. I got here at 1:15 and the office is closed until 2 pm. There is no notice of the time change online or when you book the rental.

The customer service at this branch is rediculous. When trying to trade in the vehicle provided due to a low tire sensor but tires were fine. The service rep told me to take it the Hertz at the airport as they had a bigger inventory. When turning in the second rental to the airport due to another tire sensor misreading, they would not give me another rental to replace it. I called this Hertz to see if they can assist and they questioned why I took the other vehicle to the Hertz at the airport. I told them because you guys asked me to because your inventory did not have enough in inventory. I would not go to any Hertz for a vehicle. I wouldn't go to any car rental company. They are thiefs and very untrustworthy.

If you have the chance to rent a car in any other place, do it. They will over charge 200+$ for things like fuelling your tank even if you return it full. Then when you contact customer service and show proof they are going to play with you saying that there is a problem with your bank and they cannot do the refund. Worse car rental ever

GUIDE TO RETURNING YOUR CAR
1. Navigate to Wynn Las Vegas - Self Parking (3131 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109).
2. Enter on Level 1.
3. Go to Section E. You will see yellow signs pointing you to the Hertz car rental pickup section (this is also the dropoff area).
4. Park the car at any open spot.
5. Take photos of the Fuel, Time and Mileage. You will need this for the return. Make sure you take your printed rental agreement with you if you were provided with one. You can leave the parking ticket in the car, on the dashboard.
6. Go to the elevators leading to the casino. Go up to the CASINO level.
7. As soon as you get to the casino level, exit to the right and you will see the Hertz desk immediately on the left past the doors. The key dropoff box is on the left.
8. You will be asked to write your mileage, fuel and for safety, the return time. Drop off the rent agreement, keys in the box.
Hertz, a few more instructions on the rental agreement, via email/text or on the website can go a long way to helping your cars come back on time and getting more happy customers. Pls don't rely on others to do your customer service for you. It's quite pathetic.

Worst experience in the world. I’m working for Hertz in Europe and I can tell you that the service is the worst I have experienced. I had to change a vehicle that was being serviced and give me a smaller vehicle or I have to pay more to have the same vehicle that I have? Who do you think you are? I forwarded the contract to the customer service in the US and Europe. I hope they find you!

Shaunte provided excellent service. She went above and beyond by helping us plan our itinerary for the day. We were undecided as to where we were going until she helped us. She was knowledgeable, pleasant and delightful to talk to. Thank you Shaunte!

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. The process was easy and all the staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating.

We reserved a car online and then once we get there the guy working the counter dealt with a guy for 30 minutes without acknowledging us. When he goes to help someone get the car he tells us that he has cars even though he can’t find our reservation. Comes back 15 minutes later and says he has no cars. Why are they hiring incompetent people? I know this review won’t reach the attention that it needs to but thank you for ruining my day in Las Vegas.

Booked a month in advance and I was still stranded in a foreign city as a homeless man for 4 days because I trusted this business.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Hertz Car Rental at the Wynn. Despite having made a reservation through AAA, my experience was far from satisfactory. After waiting in line for nearly 40 minutes, my excitement quickly turned into frustration when I finally reached the counter, only to be informed that there were no cars available. To make matters worse, while waiting, I overheard that the few cars they were providing to customers ahead of me were on empty, forcing those customers to head straight to a gas station. This is simply unacceptable. When I expressed my concern to the employee, especially mentioning that we had an appointment within an hour and desperately needed the car, the response was shockingly indifferent. The employee's dismissive "whatever, there's no car for you" was not only unprofessional but also left us stranded and stressed.I had high expectations from a service associated with AAA and from a prestigious location like the Wynn. However, this experience has significantly tarnished my view of both. The lack of preparation for reserved clients and the poor customer service is not what I would expect from such reputed entities. This experience was not just an inconvenience but a total letdown.

Possibly the worst experience I’ve had at a car rental. They said they were out of cars and had no apology, no plan, and simply said we’d have to get on a waitlist to see if one would turn up even though I had a reservation. Wasted hours trying to figure out an alternative. They also admitted they had premium cars but didn’t want to give me one at same rate. Phone to customer service took 30 mins. Then wait at alternate location was an hour. Absolutely no regard for customers. They also gave someone else a car ahead of me and when I asked why, wouldn’t reply. So clearly they did have a few cars but were only giving them to certain members.

We made a reservation through Dollar and when we went to the Wynn on Dec 27 to pick it up, they said they had no cars available. They mentioned they had to prioritize Hertz customers…What is the purpose of a reservation if you can’t honor it? It would have been nice if they could have let us know sooner. Although inconvenient, we could have made alternative plans.I’ve had better luck with other companies, like Budget. If they didn’t have a particular car available, they would try to find an alternative for us instead of leaving us stranded.
