Every time in Vegas I must stop at one of the few local yarn shops. This shop has great yarn and the prices are fantastic. The owner is great and helps with questions. I really love that she has a cat area in the shop and you can see them she takes great care of the cats she rescues. The carry so many things. I am excited she has fiber for spinning as well as yarn and thread so much more! Go check it out.

Great needlepoint and knitting shop. I wish I took pictures. She has a nice selection of canvases, threads and knitting yarn. The owner is such a nice person. She is knowledgeable about about both needlepoint and knitting. Her prices are beyond reasonable. You will spend your money, and you will get a bargain. She was a pleasure to talk to. She also is a feral cat caretaker. Absolutely amazing at what she does. If your in the neighborhood stop by she is a quick 10 trip from the Las Vegas strip.

So many local yarns! Don't be fooled, this yarn shop is in a house and looks small on the outside but is full of fun, and local, yarn. And the shop owner was so helpful and sweet! Worth visiting while in Vegas!

The shop has a great variety of yarns and the proprietor is super nice. I would NOT take a private knitting class here. I paid for a private lesson, but because the proprietor was having to help everyone who came into the shop, I had a total of 8 minutes of her time. But again, she is super nice... I would continue to buy yarn here.

Golden Needles is a true gem in Las Vegas. Judy, the owner is an incredible teacher and warmly welcomes visitors to her amazing shop. The selection is endless and includes yarns from around the world. Judy gladly explains the background and history of each yarn and the wisest way to use.I won’t go on because you should experience this little blue house of yarn for yourself! (Needlepoint too.)

Lovely little shop, no cats. Aisles are very small and a bit tough to walk through. A very lovely knit group was there, which made things crowded but very welcoming. A fine trade off. Totally recommend

I got lots of lovely yarns. But now want a needlepoint. Found 1 picture of cacti. Canvas too small so having it redone at 14 mesh. Reasonable price. Owner very pleasant.
