George Durkin is phenomenal!!! We were selling my mom’s home and we were out of state and George made everything run super smoothly. He’s knowledgeable, hard working and a wonderful person to work with. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

From the moment my wife and I met George and Sheryl I knew we were in great hands, they came prepared for our first meet with a portfolio with comps, facts and figures to help us wrap our head around the daunting process of selling our house. George was respectful, kind, professional and very knowledgeable, he was fully vested in helping us sell our house as fast as possible. George had a photographer come out and do day and night photos, had beautiful flyers printed and held multiple showings and an open house. His efforts were so effective we had 4 offers come in within the first week and closed Escrow in, I believe, less than 30 days. I highly recommend George to anyone wanting to sell or buy a home, his expertise and professionalism is unmatched. Thank you George for everything!

This review is about the 2 individuals - Sheryl and George Durkin - who worked diligently with us through the purchasing and selling of our home in Nevada. Sheryl lined up all of the necessary contractors to make sure that the house was ready for the market. Sheryl scheduled everything from handyman to painters, plumbers, flooring, landscaping and cleaning, and then inspected, approved for payment and sent pictures of the finished work. George took care of all the financials, making sure that local, State and HOA obligations were met as well and that all paperwork was in order. George dealt with potential buyers and let us know what offers were being made with what stipulations from each. Probably the best part of dealing with these two individuals is that even with the time differences, they were always timely in answering our calls, texts and emails, they sent pictures of the work that was going on, and they kept us up-to-date on what was happening in the market around the area in which we were making our sale. These two individuals do the job as it should be done, and are a great team to work with.

George has been our go-to realtors for the better part of 30 years. He’s assisted us with eight transactions (4 purchases and 4 sales), together with another six transactions involving our immediate family members. We keep going back to George – and recommending him to others - because he’s everything you could want in a realtor. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the valley and obviously spends hours every week keeping up on new developments. He knows everyone in town – including every sort of handyman and contractor imaginable. But most of all, he’s super easy to work with. Calls are answered immediately or returned in a matter of minutes, regardless of the hour, and he always has whatever information might be needed at his fingertips. Given his decades of experience, he knows exactly where problems might pop up – and he’s always three steps ahead of them. Highest possible recommendation.

After many months of unsuccessful house hunting with a different agent, we were put in touch with George & Sheryl at the Durkin Group LV through my in-laws who have worked with them for many, many years for many real estate transactions in the past - best thing that could have happened to us!We were moving to Las Vegas from out of town and they spent the time to show us neighborhoods across the city, showed us new builds vs. existing homes, and explained the pros & cons of each. After having them guide us through our search, we ended up finding an incredible house in a fantastic neighborhood - way better than anything we could have imagined!The purchase process couldn't have been smoother/easier - everything was handled quickly & easily and we knew we were in good hands the whole way! George and Sheryl made a typically very stressful process pain-free! Best of all, they are both wonderful, kind people! George did a great job as my real estate agent. I had some repairs that needed to be done on my home and he got me in touch with vendors to take care of these repairs. He was great at keeping me apprised of the status of what was "next" in the process of the sale. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable to work with. Thank you George and Sheryl.

George and Sheryl were a delight to work with. They made our transition from small town Oregon to big city Las Vegas smooth and seamless. They even worked through the July 4th holiday weekend to help us scope out homes and areas of the city we might wish to live in. I will turn to them anytime for mortgage-related questions, or just for recommendations about the best restaurants in town!

I highly recomend the The Durkin Group LV. George helped me sell my first home. He first surveyed the home. He then ask me my feelings on selling the house, and then gave me some options. George then came up with a plan on how to sell the home, and he guided me to handyman, drywall specialist, and plumbers. Whatever the house need The Durkin Group knew what to do as well giving helpful advice and hints. George always kept me in the loop in regards to the number of offers the house received I've know of George and Sheryl for years and I highly recomend this honest and professional group to sell or buy your home.

George and Sheryl Durkin went out of their way to help me find a house in Las Vegas Nevada. The time was difficult because of bidding wars. I could not be in Las Vegas every day to look at each house that was on the market , because I lived in Goleta Calif. George went out every day looking at houses for me and the ones he thought were good he made offers on. There were alot we did not get. Finally a nice 5 bedroom house came on the market .he wrote up a nice offer ,there were 33 offers on the house and he got the offer accepted. He and Sheryl worked day and night writing offers checking out houses and I am so grateful for the durkin group. This is not the first time. 20 years ago he helped me with another house. If you want the best please check with the durkin group .
