I've been going to Banfield locations for 11 years for 5 different animals. I have never had problems until I started going to this location. Brought my cat in for his yearly dental cleaning, and he came home so sick. Had one of the staff after asking if I wanted to get the house cat heartworm shots and me responding no, then tell me in front of my daughter that not giving it to him was a death sentence. Surprise surprise the test they did the same day came back positive. Went to a different location, and it was negative. That week of visits, I was told all three of my animals had whatever issue that would cost me x amount of money to fix. Go to another location and have no issues with them. Banfield needs to drop this location they are making a bad name for them. Staff are rude as well.

ABSOLUTE RIPOFF! Do not bring your pets here.
I have a 8 week old maltipoo that was due for his shots. I recently took him in after a friend needed him re homed. It was my first dr visit with him and my first new puppy so I was unaware of how much I will be charged. Nowhere did they specify you will be CHARGED $75 for just the visit. Just for his shots and first time visit they charged me $259.57. Here comes the best part. My cousin who has my puppy's sister also took her to a different vet clinic today for her shots. For the same exact shots and a nail trim she paid $44. Gentle Doctor did not let me know I will be charged for all of this. I understand that puppies are expensive but this place takes advantage of you. Unfortunately I did not do as much research as I should have. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES AND DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!

Very clean and you get to go to the room with your pet. I’m not from Nevada and to be able to go with my pet in the room was a blast to me.
They close at 5pm and not 6pm like google says.

Brought my dog in for a bump on his back. I’m a (human) esthetician and while I realize a dog isn’t a human, I do also know about skin concerns. The vet was dismissive and honestly quite rude. Told me it was cosmetic and I was being dramatic, and honestly tried to talk to me like I was stupid. Fast forward 2 months, the small bump quadrupled in size. Brought him to a DIFFERENT Banfield who were so kind and caring and profusely apologized for this one. He needed a procedure & meds. He’s fine now. But it could have been avoided & been much cheaper & less invasive. These people need to stop acting like their patients humans are stupid & try actually listening

Old women at the front desk clearly didn't want to service me
she lied to me saying that my dog couldn't be seen because of his vaccines not being up to date.
After leaving I called and ask for my dogs recent vaccine records as was told they were in fact all up to date

I seriously dont have the time to waste to write a post but i made time to write this one, the reeeeeaaaallly rude person at the front desk at 1550 s rainbow was not nice and extremely rude. She didn’t acknowledge me when i came to the front desk for almost 5 mins, as my cats are crying in their carrier. She tried to sell me a subscription when my cats only needed a sedative so i can fly with them. She didn’t know the price and told me each cat was going to be $135 each for the visit plus the cost of the medication. I told her to kick rocks with flip flops. She was trying to charge me a total of $800 for this subscription that i did not need. Do Not go to that place, further more i would highly advise to choose another location.

Marie was very rude in the front when i was here to pick up my dog she could not be bothered to update me on where she was. then i was siting there waiting and she proceeds to talk to someone else while i'm speaking to her . Also i have came here 2 times have not spoke to a vet only the nurses every-time i come with an appt they tell me the vet is occupied. i have only been able to drop my dog off and then pick her up and barley have someone speak to me then . i would recommend another vet . ANY OTHER VET .

They could improve by seeing your pet in the room vs taking them into the back away from their owners/family. This is a poor practice that makes it more stressful for the pet. Trust that owners can be present and yield to drs if needed in person vs avoiding it by removing them from their owners/family. And no one likes drop offs. I will never "drop" my cat off and leave it alone like they prefer. It's a horrible practice that allows them to "get to" your pet whenever they have time, basically like herding cattle. I won't do any more business with Banfields due to this cold service. There was one dr who would see my cat in person but she has left and now so have I because no other drs will agree to have the compassionate bedside manner. Even in an emergency situation, they will be days out for being seen and refer you somewhere else. Banfields have gone way down in the past 5 yrs.

They took amazing care with my pitbull! Price for service are higher than most locations, but i guess you get what you pay for.

I love the wellness program they have us on.
Update: Well, I would wish that customer service would be an everyday thing. However, this time around, I called with questions and felt like I was being pushed off the phone. My dog was diagnosed with diabetes and they told me i had to buy the freestyle device to track her sugar levels. I told them I was moving if this would still work with other doctors. Theu assured me that it would. I'm coming to find out, nope! Every doctor likes to do things differently, and now they want me to pay 350 for a glucose curve. The freestyle cost me 150 for it not to even be used. I am beyond livid, do better Benfield times are hard and I'm just trying to give my dog a fighting chance!!

Love Banfield. They take amazing care of my old man making sure he has the best possible end of life!I've used them for years now and I've always had great experiences with them. They really do love all the animals.
