My wife and I showed up to buy a new GV80 prestige signature model. First the salesman could not find the keys to any of the models we were looking at so he showed us a lower model we had no interest in. Once I got him to understand that we had no interest in anything other than the prestige signature model, he left us for a second time to find keys. He returned with no keys and explained he needs to escort another customer somewhere and left us waiting in the cold. We left and bought an Audi.

I cannot believe I'm compelled to write a review on a dealership but this experience was so abysmal, so offensive, I IMPLORE you to take you business elsewhere for a luxury vehicle or service. I would rather take my Genesis to Jiffy Lube then return here. I enter at the lot marked "Genesis of Las Vegas", currently under construction. No valet, but there is a sign saying pull forward. I pull to the right of the temporary building, no one is there. I have no idea if I'm in the right spot. I sit for approximately two minutes, then pill around to the left side. Two people (who I later discover are salesman), leaning up against a car, one smoking. The other looks over his shoulder at me, parked, but continues his conversation. I then proceed to the Hyundai side of the lot. I sit there for nine minutes (yes, I timed it) before someone came out. I'm unsure who she was but offered to drive me to the back and show me where to drop off my vehicle (even walked me inside). I sit and a service advisor came out and confirm the service needed. He said it would take an "hour to an hour and a half" (I was going to stay and do some work anyway). After hour two passed, I moved to the seats in front of the TV. They initially had a Hallmark movie on, then Christmas music. In the middle of a song, a movie came on and was loud, which made everyone turn to look at the TV. NO JOKE, a scene came on where I only initially heard a woman's moans and loud sounds of sex. I look up and the woman is having sex with someone, making all types of sounds and it's showing the act itself, including male nudity (from the backside). The admin seated TWO FEET from the TV started to giggle but did NOTHING to change the channel or turn the TV off, simply sat at her desk. Another salesman started to laugh as well as other employees in the seating area. Finally, a woman came out of the office and approached the admin and asked what was going on. She kept telling her to "turn it off, turn it off" and finally she got up and did just that. Not ONE, NOT ONE employee apologized, apparently, because it was funny to them, not inappropriate or unprofessional in any way, but funny. There was a collection of people, from an internet sales manager (yes, I looked them up on their website), to a salesman, to another manager, came over and tried to figure out what happen. One of them mentioned someone casted the "movie" to the TV. This was clearly done on purpose as you know when you're casting something (there is a prompt). Regardless, still no acknowledgement to the customer's in the waiting area. NOTHING. When the original service advisor (showing Shandon on my paperwork) stepped over and told me they were washing the car, thus it should be done shortly, he walked back in the service room. Not a minute later do I hear another service advisor (Victoria) say LOUD AND CLEAR, "this is her job, not her life" TWICE. Extremely interesting timing, given I looked pissed and I'm sure my service advisor could tell. If you're going to buy, BUY FROM AUDI OF LAS VEGAS, go to the Genesis of St. George, the Genesis in Victorville. DO NOT COME HERE. They don't give a second thought to their reputation, professionalism, or conduct (unless they're making money off you in a sale). I'm very thankful I didn't buy my Genesis here, rather the old Genesis of Henderson. I don't drive much so I will go to St. George or Victorville for service. Yes, I will drive over 100 miles to NEVER have to step foot in this appalling dealership again. I've had the pleasure of having an Audi and couldn't have been more pleased with their consistently great service. NEVER AGAIN and I will ensure this review is posted any and everywhere the public can see it.

My new GV60 was rear ended June 1st of this year and has yet to be fixed. That's over a half a year waiting for parts. I feel for the price of close to $100,000.00 and the lack of communication this is unacceptable.

Genesis dealership is going through a remodeling phase and I can't wait for the opening! The service department has been nothing short of excellent to work with. Tiffany and Victoria are so helpful with anything I need done to my car. I brought it in for a chipped rim and the process was quick and efficient. Not to mention, I just love my Genesis. I traded in my Audi for it and I have no regrets. Thank you Genesis for my beautiful car and to the ladies that are always available to help me!

The man that did my services G Thatcher flat out lied to me about many aspects of my services. To start, I remember when I first met him, he was doing Valet picking my car up and bringing it back. Of course that was part of my package, but he was providing a service to me, so every time he would bring my car back I would tip him to the best of my ability $20-$40. I did my first few appointments through another service rep by phone who initially told me I couldn't do any of my appointments by phone and it strictly had to be through the app. I tried to use the app but I could never find appointments so I let him know. At this point he was able to get my appointments done by phone but for some reason he would rarely pick up myphone calls or respond to myvoicemails. As more services pass by I feel a need to build a genuine bond with G, well because he is driving my car.. and I want to prove to him that I trust him. It seemed like he was doing the same with me but I was wrong... I realized I was wrong about G with my last service done by him. He said that my brakes were good until I reached 60,000 miles so there was no need to be change them. I believed him and thanked him for relaying this to me when In reality they did need to be changed 1. 2, my car would always get vacuumed, washed and receive floor paper. Suddenly it stopped getting vacuumed, washed, and protected. I didn't say anything because I figured they were just busy, we all get busy at work sometimes.. I understood. 3, when it came down to appointments with G I would call him many times and leave voicemails but no luck. This is the reason I arrived without an appointment. 4, I remember one day I finished getting my car serviced by G I was job hunting so I asked G if Genesis was hiring, he said "yes". Since he just got promoted I politely asked him "is there any way you could help me out please? I would greatly appreciate it" He agreed and handed me the hiring managers business card. I called many times that same day and left a voicemail sadly I never heard anything back. I'm very hurt, sad, disappointed, and traumatized by how I was taken advantage of because of my lack of motor vehicle knowledge. This was the first car I bought on my own.. Maybe I set my expectations too high, so I apologize in advance if I did. It's just that the last thing I expected to happen was a lie about car maintenance.. It's truly traumatizing just think about how my safety and well being was put at risk.Thank you Genesis Motors for caring about my well being and safety.

My salesman Patrick took excellent care of me! He took the time to go over all of the major features and ensured that I had set up the most important settings on the car. This was my first luxury vehicle purchase and my experience put me at ease. Plus, Patrick made sure I left with a full charge on my newly purchased EV. Everyone I met was very friendly and personable, I felt they really care about the vehicles they are selling! The finance guy was phenomenal as well!

I purchased my new GV 70 about a year ago. The sales process was aggravating. Several times during the process I asked to see the MSRP sheet and was told they could not find it. But, they sure had a price for me. They let me test drive a GV 70 with a price tag about $61,000. The salesman drove me around the lot and showed me all the available GV 70's in stock. He demonstrated all the features and options on the car that we test drove. He never told me that the car that we picked out to purchase was a completely different trim level. I sure was surprised when I went looking for some of the features and they weren't in my brand new GV 70. I contacted the general manager the next day and he apologized for my sales experience, but offered no solution to my purchasing a car that was different then the one demonstrated to me.My Service department experience left me totally frustrated. I live 157 miles from the dealership and I made my service appointment using the Genesis button in my car to talk to a Genesis advisor. The advisor made arrangements for my appointment to replace a broken windshield on a Saturday, when I arrived at the dealership, the first thing I was told is that I did not have an appointment. The second thing I was told is they do not replace broken windshields. I am sure whoever reads this can feel my frustration at this point. My Saturday was spent driving over 300 miles for nothing at my expense. The lesson I learned about making an appointment at the dealership using the Genesis feature in my car is useless. I am very disappointed with my overall experience with the genesis dealership and with the genesis communications feature available to me in my GV70.I really like my GV 70 and its overall reliability. Having said that, however this past week was the first time that I was outside my car when it was running. As I was walking up to to my running car I heard a loud ticking noise coming from the engine. From my experience, I would suspect a loud tappet or a noisy fuel injector. I am not looking forward to my next service encounter with Genesis of Las Vegas.

This message is directly for Frank Haverkamp:Hello Frank, I emailed you on 06/13 to share a service issue with you and I have not heard back yet. Not surprising. Maybe you should respond to customers who have legitimate issues like when asking for the email of who's in charge of service and your service associate says "I'm the new manager is there anything I can relay" and gives me your email stating that any issue I have sent to you will be redirected back to that same service associate offering a dead end resolution. Does that sound right to anyone? I will be taking this further with Genesis.

I've waited a week or so to write this review because honestly I've just been enjoying my new car too much to sit down and get my thoughts down. I had just gotten out of dealing with a car accident and my previous car was totaled so I was in the grey area between being reimbursed from my previous car and starting the search for a new ride. I drove all the way across town because as a Hyundai guy I had always been interested in Genesis since their split and upgrade from the Hyundai brand. They've always been out of my price range. I didn't go to the dealership to purchase a car, I honestly wasn't even planning on taking a test drive. Just wanted to see the cars in person. I was greeted by Hadi after walking the lot and gawking at all the cool brand new Genesis models, and he asked me a few questions and asked me to come to his office so he could show me a couple things. What? There were some used models that might be in my price range? Say less! At no point during my experience at Genesis of Las Vegas did I feel pressured to purchase a car, or even sold to. One reason I think most people buy online these days is to avoid "car salesman" that we're all accustomed to. I can confidently say that those types don't work here. It felt like visiting an old friend. Hadi pulled up a couple used models with a lot of miles and he even said to me "those are a little overdriven for the price, let's see if we can find something else" and after a few minutes we had a G70,G80,G90 of different years and mileage to look at all in my price range. He walked to me to their next door lot (Future site of the brand new Genesis dealership) and we looked at the cars. Hadi was fair and pointed out a lot of the features of each car, and made his recommendation on what would fit me best as a dad of two who makes weekly Costco trips.Once I saw the G90 I knew that was the car and Hadi agreed. I didn't plan on buying a car like I said and didn't bring down payment cash with me so he offered me a few creative financing options to get around that and knowing I wasn't in the perfect credit situation with having another car loan on my credit, he even worked some magic with the finance department to drop the price of the car AND include the best warranty available.I was over the moon with the service I received from Hadi and everyone over at Genesis of Las Vegas. They really went to bat for me to make sure I could get my dream car at acceptable terms, and in all my years of purchasing vehicles I've never once had a dealership drop the price and include warranty like that without it being a back and forth haggle situation. These guys are the real deal.I read the reviews before I went like the rest of you and everything that I'm seeing is a result of growing pains of an overworked service department. Remember that they are currently the only Genesis dealership in Las Vegas servicing our luxury cars on top of squeezing in all the Hyundai business. The more locations that open the more those pains ease up a bit. A little patience goes a long way and knowing the team at Genesis Las Vegas, whatever it is you need they'll get it done. Ask for Hadi, and ask for Gus. They'll take care of you. They turned a pretty stressful life situation into an easy car buying experience that I'll always remember. I'm sending everyone I know here. Worth the exhaustive review!
