First time ever being at a Family Dollar Store. I'm not sure what I expected besides the prices probably being 1-5 dollars. They sell a lot of food items but it can be very pricey. A box of chips ahoy was about $6. A pack of Dixie paper plates was $8! I did find some cute gift boxes which they had a great promo for. BOGO! So I would definitely look around for certain items that you need and see if it is truly a better deal. Service was quick and I was in and out fairly quickly.

Some of the employees need more training. I know employees there probably don’t pay that much. But have some manners and keep your voice down, making smart comments, to employees and customers . Male cashier in there was loud, laughing an from the time, me and my son walked in to the time we walked out. Seems hed rather be in performing arts class. Keep the smart mouth and loud talk away from work and customers that just want to get their items go about their day in peace.

Always a friendly face to greet you. Shelves are always stocked. Prices are reasonable compared to other area stores.

Horrible customer service! Two cashiers one trashy hispanic lady and one older trashy white lady that worked first shift on May 21st, 2022 at the 4266 South Durango location. No one spoke! They were not friendly at all. It’s not my fault they work at family dollar at their age. Management need to do better when hiring these miserable people.

First and last time I'll be going here. Nobody at the register, no lights signaling which register was open so I unloaded all my things onto 1 of the registers $60 worth of stuff, this tall skinny women walks right by onto the next register and says she can help me there! She didn't even bother help me transfer my things over, started scanning things very fast and charged me twice for some stuff! The other employee went to " check" said everything was right but when I got home it I double checked and I was right! She charged me twice for 3 things !!.. Horrible customer service, unprofessional, rude, and don't care to over charge you.. Never again ! Keep the $6 you overcharged, not even worth my time..

i purchased a Velveta cheese block today, got home to use it & it was 7 MONTHS EXPIRED!! highly disgusting! i go back to the store to let them know & to get a replacement. which LORE was fine with. i go to check the other blocks & THEY'RE ALL EXPIRED!! WTF!? that clearly shows they don't stock properly. Lore, the lady that originally rung me up was very nice & empathetic about the situation. BETH on the other hand was a complete B**** about it. she gave me an attitude as soon as i came in regarding it. anyway, i went to go check what other cheese i could use & found some that were slightly cheaper. i advised BETH that it was cheaper & she was like you can just take them. Lore attempted to call someone to assist & BETH STOPPED HER!! i was like well i'm due for some sort of refund. BETH said "oh, you can have your little change" EXCUSE ME!? i don't give a damn if it was 5 cents, it's still MY money. i didn't appreciate her attitude at all. i will be contacting corporate to report BETH'S unnecessary behavior.

What kind of trifling mess is this? It is 8:46 8:45. I'll pull up and they're closing the door. I asked for the manager and she said we can close 15 minutes early. That's ridiculous and trifling and I just don't understand. Terrible.
