The store manager, Bertha Verdugo, has been so helpful, polite and friendly from the beginning and it is a pleasure to deal with her.We can highly recommend her and the Extra Space Storage location on 3825 S. Durango Drive in 89147 Las Vegas.

The fire that happened in Aug was very sad and unfortunate. I was told that my unit was directly affected and all of belongings were destroyed. I couldn't believe it :(The staff members reached out via email to inform me right away. They were communicative and provided as much assistance as they could. I am grateful that no one was injured. I hope for those who lost everything they owned, don't have as hard of a time with an insurance claim as I am having. Friendly staff. Clean and well maintained. Easy online move in process.

They increased the monthly payment by $30 just 1 month after getting a storage unit.Update: Lowering my rating from 3 stars to 1 star. Like others have recently mentioned, I have been calling to try to figure out what has happened after the fire but no one answers the phone or checks esponds to the voicemails I have left. I have been out of town for the last two months so I have been unable to go there and check.On top of not knowing if my belongings at the storage unit are safe, I called and the automated system let me know that there is yet another rate increase for my unit. I could be paying for them to "store ashes" for all I know.

???Hey guys someone started a Reddit post. Please join there.To everyone who also had a unit here that got burned down too - I’m unable to get any meaningful response from management either. They give a generic reply. They’re also super rude now. Have 0 sympathy when talking. It’s been almost 8 weeks. All of us need to get together as a group somehow. This is ridiculous.Yes - they are still charging rent. I called them and they cancelled it but then I got a notice of late payment in the mail.

I was notified back in August about a fire and told I would be allowed in to check my storage in 2 wks and have yet to be contacted again , they are still taking payment from my acct and I can’t get ahold of anyone , and yes I have contacted the manager , left messages with my email and phone number (NO RESPONSE) I also have sent emails (NO RESPONSE) I called the numbers on the door (NO RESPONSE) , if you are having the same issue please flood the news investigators to investigate why they are charging us and not telling us what’s going on ! i’m so up for picketing the damn place and to sue for the money they have taken while we aren’t contacted and can’t even start a claim with the insurance that they made us get ! i’m getting more and more angry as we wait!

I am very upset. They were very nice at first- there was a fire in the storage and since I live in AZ I have no idea the outcome. 14 days late and they are sending me a lien notice? So I guess the units are ok from the fire. They don't respond.

Warning Do not Lease a storage here!! This property has Multiple Break break in!! My unit was broken into 24hrs after moving in. Seems like an inside job. Storage insurance extremely expensive and will try everything to deny claim. I’m Currently hiring a private investigator because the police will not complete a full investigation. Im also hiring an attorney to sue for Gross Negligence. Save yourself the heartbreak and pain. Some of The items that were stolen are irreplaceable such as my mother’s Obituary and items she left behind.

Funny how I only intended to use Extra Space Storage for a month while I look for a new apartment. I can’t believe 7 years have gone by. Life happens and I’m a traveler. But every single employee that I have encountered here have been extraordinary. I especially appreciate Ms. Debbie who recently helped me out with a situation. The convenience of having online payment, clean, secure units and customer service is why I have remained with them. Thank you again.

Extra space storage has a business practice of offering new customers an attractive monthly rate however they will usually raise the rate within 3 months. What’s unethical is current or long term customer could be paying $300 for a unit but new customers would be offered the same size unit for only $200 for example. It’s unethical to charge current customers MORE than what you advertise the monthly rate at. This practice is so alarming there is an active class action lawsuit in California regarding this tactic. I’d recommend everyone to complain to management when they raise the rate. Ask the Mgr, “ what are you charging me 20-30% more than the current advertised rate for the exact same unit size? It’s the classic business practice of bait and switch. Im looking into filing a complaint with the NV Atty General. Shame on you Extra Space.

Im also hiring an attorney to sue for Gross Negligence for not providing adequate security after multiple break ins have occurred. Save yourself the heartbreak and pain. Some of The items that were stolen are irreplaceable such as my mother's Obituary and items she left behind. When I went back to the storage facility, I could see that Every unit on my section was tampered or broken into.

Wow Debbie was the most helpful person in storage history we had such a great conversation she was so helpful every step of the way !!!! I am so deeply grateful for the help on such a last minute move … she explained everything very well and I understood every step and process because she walked me thru everything ! I’ve had many storage units before and this has by far been the easiest ever!!! And all done over the phone while I was in the middle of traveling ! Awesome job A++++++ thanks again Deb !!

I've been to multiple storage places in Las Vegas and I have to say that this one is the best. Excellent customer service! Kevin was smiling and in a terrific mood! You can tell that he loves what he's doing, and that he works for a great company.
