Went there without an appointment, and left in less than an hour. They seem to be getting more effective with wait times, and every window was (surprisingly) open.

Edit: They have a weird Wednesday schedule system. Once you know how to use it, it's convenient.
However for the first time visitor, it's a nightmare.

Place is crap. Who runs this has no clue, didn't know how to manage. Appointment at 1 and still waiting an hour later. Then the desk had no idea why your here....... sad las vegas

If your appointment is at a set time be prepared to wait over an hour … & the online timer is not correct for every 5 minutes or so

There was no line when I came so I was like 2 steps away in front of the sign where the line would be, and when it was my turn, I approached the older man with a gray beard and hair with glasses, smiled and said hi, and he immediately questions if I was in line. I looked behind me and realized so many people showed up, because I thought I was still the only one waiting, and I said yes. He responds with “well you were standing over there and the line starts back there”. I was TWO TO THREE steps away from where the beginning of the line started, and not only did he know I was waiting, he knew I was NEXT since he KNEW where I was standing, so why ask.? At the time it was only me so I didn’t think it was a big deal to stand a little further up. I was a little baffled, but thankfully everyone in line was like “yeah no she was up next, she was right there”. The guy “helping” me put his hands up in defeat since everyone else had to put him in check and everyone was telling him all at once. So I tell him I needed a VIN inspection and he just says “yeah that’s outside.” OKAY, WHERE OUTSIDE.? Like are you kidding me.? So I ask exactly where, and he just responds like it was the most obvious thing, he tells me it’s the only other building on the property but there’s literally like 2 other buildings plus another wing of the DMV.
I’m just saying if you’re not happy about talking and helping people then maybe working at the freaking DMV where people literally go for help, isn’t for you. There was absolutely no reason to act like that.
The date is 8/29/24 and it’s 9am, so whatever old guy with a shorter gray beard/hair and glasses was working at the appointment/check in desk this morning with the super nice blonde lady, hope management sees this and corrects his rude behavior.

By any chance does anyone know if they are selling ID's at this office, like the DMV on Sahara Ave, it's to far for mee to get there, I live in southwest, and with no ride, it's hard for me to get there, my friends are receiving drivers license, without having to take the exam, my friends I walked with from Honduras, already have there's, keep me posted ? if anyone finds other DMV's that are selling drivers license, let me know.

I was there to renew my vehicle registration then I asked the guy at the front door where's the kiosk and he told me kiosk was down so he sent me to the information then he told me they will enter it manually for me and the line was pretty long so I waited for minutes then when it was my turn the lady told me that those line is only for the people who has an appointment and I don't have an appointment cause I was only there to use the kiosk. Then I asked the security where's the kiosk at and he just told me "I think it's just around the corner" then he didn't finish what he's saying and he talk to some guys that asking some info instead of answering my question first. I was so disappointed. I went back to the guy again whom I asked when I first got there then he told me the kiosk is already working then I told him not to send me in the line cause the people who we're in the line are the only people who has an appointment then he told me the information crew told him to send everybody at the information and he's sorry about that. There's a miscommunication in that office and it will just be a waste of time when they don't clarify all the procedures that need to be done for the day.

Today was supposedly a walk in day for the DMV but by 10:30 the slots for the day were filled. My appointment to get a license plate is a month out.

The most easiest way to register your car is through the kiosk, I was in and out of there in less than 2 minutes

Had my license plate stolen and needed assistance. I was helped by a woman named Josephina I believe. She was incredibly helpful and kind. Was expecting difficulty and was pleasantly surprised with her outstanding customer experience.
