I just wanted to warn other mamas about a daycare location - Creative Kids the location on Rainbow 3220.
My daughter has been going here since 9/2023 so about 6 months. The first 4 months were okay, the teacher ratios were always perplexing and seems like the admin staff was always in classrooms so the numbers don’t get thrown off. My daughter then turned 3 in January and needed to be switched to the next classroom up. She is still potty training as her father and I have split so it’s a bit harder to get her potty trained going back and forth between houses but they told me it was no big deal because they were understanding. The biggest issue I always ran into when I went to drop her off was the teachers scrambling to find out if my daughter was actually in their class because of ratios. Until I dropped my daughter off on Thursday 4/25/2024 around 9:45am. I picked her up around 5:15pm and arrived home at 5:30pm. My daughter kept telling me that she was itchy so I go to change her diaper. To my utter surprise and disbelief my daughter was still in the SAME PRINCESS PULL UP I dropped her off in at 9:45am. My daughter sat for over 7 hours in the same diaper I dropped her off to school in. One of the most frustrating parts is they marked on the sprout about all that they changed her not once but twice at two separate times of 12:17 and 3pm. It was so bad all of the little gel beads were all in every crack and crevice So they are not being truthful about the inputs in the app too.
I immediately called the school and spoke with the lunch director, she often has to do admin work they all just move around and do what they need bc of staffing answered and I told her my concern and said mentioned that she just HAD a conversation with her staff about checking and keeping updated on diapers. So this been a problem enough to where they need to have a talk with their teachers before my incident with my daughter. I’m not sure I just thought changing kids diapers was just expected to do every couple hours. But no the teachers need reminding. That’s crazy to me. But anyways I filed a report with Nevada child care licensing. Keep your kiddos safe yall and believe them when they say teacher is scary

They will outright lie to you about have a room for your kids. They are not accepting new kids because they are understaffed. This was told to me by the employees. The majority of La petite and creative kids are understaffed and is the reason they don't have room. If you call the 800 number they will always tell you they do have room and outright lie. Every creative kids and La petite employees are underpaid and overworked. This was told to me by more than one of the employees. Look at the negative reviews and believe them

I was transferring my daughter from one Creative Kids to this location. I had a feeling this location wasn't going to be any better. My 1st contact when I called for availability I was placed on hold for over 5 minutes without any contact. The day of the appt, I arrived 15 minutes (in the rain) and rung the bell several times before someone came to the door. It was Rebecca, the director. She asked me if there was something she could help me with. I replied, Yes, I have an appt. When I walked in she and another woman were sitting behind the desk. Whoever who runs these centers really needs to just pop in. I didn't appreciate Rebecca's condescending and very UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE. I immediately left and couldn't wait to write this review. It's unfortunate that as a working mother that we have to rely on these type of ppl to care for our little ones. I read the reviews and they're all terrible. Not to mention the place had a very strong unpleasant smell.

I am writing to formally express my grave concern and extreme disappointment regarding an incident that occurred at Creative Kids on November 15, 2023, involving my son, Tyson Jones. On that day, I entrusted Creative Kids with the care of my son, Tyson Jones, dropping him off at the daycare facility around 8:00 AM. Upon my return to pick him up at 4:10 PM, I was immediately met with alarming news from Assistant Director Clarissa, who informed me that Tyson had been involved in an incident with another toddler and had sustained an injury to his head. Her casual demeanor and the use of the term "Boo Boo" led me to believe that the injury was minor. However, upon entering Tyson's classroom, I was met with a scene of shock and disbelief as I witnessed the severity of his injuries. Tyson had sustained two significant head wounds - one, the size of a golf ball, on the right side of his forehead and another, smaller one, on the left side of his head. The sight of my son's injuries was deeply disturbing, and I immediately sought an explanation from Tyson's teacher, Ms. Ashley. She provided a conflicting account of the incident, stating that another toddler had thrown a toy, striking Tyson in the forehead. However, this explanation failed to reconcile with the two distinct injuries. Seeking further clarification, I requested access to the video footage of the incident. Unfortunately, I was informed that only corporate had the authority to view the footage. This lack of transparency and accessibility to critical information was concerning, as it hindered my ability to fully understand the circumstances surrounding Tyson's injuries. The following day, Director Rebecca Fischer contacted me, stating that she had reviewed the video footage with a corporate representative. She presented a revised narrative, claiming that Tyson had two separate incidents. The first involved a fall while jumping on a toy with another child, and the second involved a fall from a cot onto another child, resulting in the toy dropping on Tyson's forehead. This latest explanation left me deeply troubled by the inconsistencies and lack of clarity provided by the daycare staff. Furthermore, I am appalled by the fact that I was never contacted regarding Tyson's injuries, despite the severity of his wounds and the need for medical attention. Tyson's injuries were significant enough to warrant a visit to the emergency room for a possible mild concussion. The staff's failure to notify me promptly and adequately demonstrates a severe lapse in judgment and a lack of care for Tyson's well-being. Most alarmingly, Director Fischer's statement that Tyson's injuries were not considered an emergency further highlights the daycare's negligence and disregard for safety protocols. A head injury on a toddler, particularly one of the severity Tyson sustained, is a serious matter that demands immediate attention and thorough investigation. The staff's nonchalant approach to this incident is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about their ability to prioritize the safety and well-being of the children under their care. In light of these incidents and the pattern of negligence exhibited by Creative Kids, I am formally requesting a thorough investigation into this matter. I demand that appropriate disciplinary action be taken against those responsible for ensuring Tyson's safety and well-being. I have attached supporting documentation to substantiate my claims, including photos of Tyson's injuries, hospital documentation, and an audio recording of my conversation with Director Fischer. I urge you to take this matter with the utmost seriousness and implement measures to prevent such incidents from recurring. The safety and well-being of the children entrusted to your care should be your paramount concern.

Every time I walk into this daycare it smells horrible. I have so much to say, but it doesn't matter, the only responses that get replies are only the positive and from the looks of it I have only read a few, and my guess is, it's someone they know and not a real paying parent. Give it a little more time and I am sure that person will start to complain as well , if it was indeed a real parent. The concerns that are brought to their attention do no get resolved they just keep getting worse. Biting should be prohibited period end of subject. But not here it continues and now my grandson things its ok to bit since they have never removed the child that was biting my grandson. Staff comes and goes here, and you wonder why. It makes me wonder if Management have children or the owner, I feel for their kids, cause if the children are being treated bad in the school they run, their children must really be unhappy and treated bad at home...If you are smart, and I know you are, you only want the best for your children and this place it nt it.Don't even bother with this daycare, their are some really good ones out there, you just have to look hard and be smart and pick the right one....They DO NOT even deserve ONE STAR. and that needs to change, you should be able to give your feedback and have the option not to give and star, if anything you should be able to rate them by negative stars.. I give this so called daycare -10 STARS

Terrible, if i would give no stars i would, when i say if you love your kids you would NOT sign them up here. the facility is dirty, when you address issues with the staff they look at you crazy and just brush your issues to the side. this establishment is a joke no child should be left alone here. Ive seen teachers shove kids around. Do your kids a favor and take them somewhere else this place should'nt even be open none of the creative kid facilities are any different please for the love of god take your kids out of here The absence of educational structure was alarming, as children roamed aimlessly in an environment devoid of stimulation. Attempts to communicate with the staff and management proved not only frustrating but highlighted a concerning lack of accountability. The staff's apathetic attitude was not only unwelcoming but raised serious questions about their commitment to the children. Safety standards were virtually nonexistent, with glaring hazards and outdated equipment putting children at significant risk. In summary, this day care facility is a breeding ground for neglect, with hygiene, safety, and educational shortcomings that should send shivers down any parent's spine. I strongly urge parents to steer clear of this establishment and prioritize the safety and well-being of their children by choosing a more responsible and caring day care option

Ongoing investigation as of now- refused to show me a "situation that was handled incorrectly" and then watched my son be tackled by one of the new teachers for running to me and being excited to see me.This place has a high turn over, it's over ratioed and the director is a joke. I can't believe the things that have been allowed and they hire just about anyone. I would strongly recommend you take your child else where.

Very upset with the school. My daughter attended here last year and it was a great experience. I recommended my nephew to attend there this year and they kicked him out on his FIRST DAY not even an hour in! He was scared as any kid is when it's a new environment and yes he figured out how to get the door open, however; they assumed (in his hour) he has psychological problems and developmental issues. They didn't even give him a chance because my nephew is a good and Very smart child!Their website states "Any parent knows that young children may sometimes behave in a challenging way, through defiance, aggression, or hurtful words. This may be because they haven’t yet learned the social, emotional, language, and cognitive skills to express themselves in a more positive way.At Creative Kids, challenging behavior is a learning opportunity. In turn, we give teachers tools for Positive Behavior Support."No support given! Just called it quits. How do you deal with all the other kids who react the same and freak out? I don't see them being kicked out. This is highly disappointing! All kids react differently to new faces and places.

So far so great with this school. The reviews are much better than the centennial location. And they don't have teachers yelling at your kids

Very upsetting! We were so EXCITED to enroll our son to this school!!!!! (Rainbow location) This school sent my 22 month old home after two incidents. This is his 1st daycare experience. His teacher Ms. Clarissa was amazing we knew she had alot of experience with toddlers. She would praise him so well, telling us "She was proud of him." She was very nice to us and treated Our son exceptional! It is unfortunate we no longer want him at this school. The director Rebecca seems to not have children of her own and really has poor customer service skills. She told us our son had some sort of psychological issues because he threw a tantrum which included throwing toys and flipped a chair. His behavior was destructive and she decided to send our son home, the 1st incident he flung his head back and scratched his little face up, This director treated us very poorly and didn't not help us with our son's transition....period!!! She made us feel like our son was not welcome at this school. Now we have to start the process all over again find him a new provider and introduce him to a new set of strangers. Very upsetting! We are a single family, our son has no siblings and we have absolutely no help for daycare. I work in Emergency Dept the hospital is super strict with attendance policy, and his father is in graphic design. We both depends on a good quality daycare. We thought this daycare was full of activities and educational experience to keep our little one occupied.clearly on days that they are short staffed the child' ren have no direction. Sent our son home instead of helping him succeed/grow. Thank s!

My daughter was there for 2 years. Excellent experience for me as a mom that looks for a safe, learning, fun environment and great for my daughter as a kid. She loved it. My daughter just started kindergarten in a regular school and she always says she was to go back to Creative Kids. Best school/daycare EVER
