This man saw me, at most, 5 min and dismissed every single thing i had to say. He wouldn't let me talk or explain my symptoms. I brought in all of my labs, paperwork, referrals, etc. None of it mattered because he said, "You can't have cancer. You're too young ?"
So, clearly, he's never heard of babies and kids having cancer. I shouldn't have to come to drs to prove myself. I come here for help, not for this man to be on his phone and looking at his watch. If you want to actually be heard, especially if you're young, do *not* go here. I got my lab paperwork to go, and I'm not coming back. It's not ok to have people come to you for help, and you show no empathy. Good thing I already have a scheduled appt with Hope Cancer. This 1 dr just ruined the entire office for me. No, thanks. My insurance pays you to be my doctor and for me to be HEARD. You shouldn't be a dr just for the money. It's heartless.

One of the worst offices I’ve ever dealt with and I haven’t even been seen yet. I was referred by my doctor at the beginning of May, of course they didn’t have the referral right away so I waited until May 14th when I was finally able to speak with someone. We’ve been playing phone tag since May 14th now and I’ve even gone IN PERSON to the office and still couldn’t get an appointment. I have been in the medical field 10+ years, and have never treated any of my patients this way. They ask when can they call back only to not call you back at the agreed time. When I asked to book the next available appointment with the provider I was referred to I was told I first have to speak with the coordinator. Why you only have ONE coordinator is beyond me. I’m not personally mad at these workers because I know they probably do the best with what they have. But I would THINK being a cancer center, scheduling is kind of important. Management here is clearly horrible and they really should do better. I hope to get a call from your office tomorrow so I can finally get scheduled and start treatment so I’m not constantly in pain and sick anymore.

I underwent treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2022 and early 2023. While I am currently cancer free, I am not completely satisfied with my care. 10 days after my port was installed I developed a fever and severe lower back pain. I was given an oral antibiotic on assumption I had a UTI even though my urine test was clear. Right after that infection cleared, I took my first chemo treatment. Four days later another fever developed and I was admitted to the hospital with life threatening sepsis caused by an infected port. That infection is not CCCN’s fault but why was my first infection not cultured? I later learned that ports cause an elevated risk for sepsis yet CCCN apparently didn’t consider it necessary to culture my first infection. It might have prevented sepsis and the 8 weeks of delay it injected into my chemo treatment. Also my treatment protocol called for 3 rounds of chemo followed by a choice between 4th round of chemo or 4 weeks of radiation. My CCCN oncologist asked me to decide without giving me any guidance. I went with the chemo. My cancer returned and he said “it just means we should have chosen radiation”. Wow. Meanwhile this decision-making and consultation with the radiation oncologist injected another two months of delay into my chemo schedule which further reduced its efficacy. Also my last chemo round had to omit one of the four drugs as recommended by my lung doctor, which must further decrease its efficacy. I believe that should have pushed the doctor to recommend radiation, all else being equal. I’m sure that without these complications the “book” treatment would have been fine. But great doctors are defined by how they handle the complications, not the book cases, and in this department I was not satisfied and I’m in process of switching treatment centers for ongoing monitoring.

Comprehensive Cancer Center in Summerlin Hospital in Nevada is a joke. The have the worst scheduling procedures of any health care facility I know. I was referred by my primary care physician and due to scheduling problems, numerous missed calls and 3 separate office visits it took me over 6 months before I was able to see a doctor. And that was only after I called th office manager. If you have a choice choose another provider for your health care needs.
