My friend recommended Companion Animal Hospital. I know she treats her cats well, so I couldn't go wrong taking my cat here. I was in need of a veterinarian as I moved from Hawaii, so when it came time for my cat's annual check up, it was timed perfectly with my trip to Japan, where I would have to leave my cat at a boarders. As far as a veterinarian, they are good. I love how the veterinarians provide a great summary of your pet's health in layman's terms and with such compassion. The only thing I would say they can improve upon is the wait times. The few times I have brought my cat in, I have had to wait at least 45 minutes before the vet even came to talk to me. One time, I waited in the room with my cat for at least 45 minutes before they even took my cat in to do his check up. While I understand that things happen (e.g. vet is in surgery with another animal), I wish they just rescheduled my appointment versus having me wait for over an hour just to ultimately reschedule me. As a boarder, I highly recommend. They gave me frequent updates on my cat and including pictures. It seems like he is a little celebrity at the vet's office now.

dr erin wilkins and her teammate ganged up on my son and told him that his 14 year old chihuahua was dying before they ran tests that i told them were already run. she took full advantage of our bad experience at the vet before as a chance to take $1100 from someone who doesnt have it to spare and put our entire family on notice that our dog is dying. it was traumatic and our dog is fine. no cancer. not dying. i hope she loses a lot of sleep at night. she doesn't deserve to be around our pets!

I had such high hopes for this Veterinary office and unfortunately they have let me down. I rescued a dog from a rescue and I was told to go through this vets office as the rescue would pay for his neuter, shots and other expenses. I went to the office my dog got his first set of shots and then we set up his neuter appointment. I received a call days later saying they wanted to cancel his appointment due to him not being 6 months of age. My dog would be well over 6 months at the time of his appointment and refused to have them cancel his appointment. This was all happening during their dental month were they making tons of money and my dogs neuter appointment would've been free due to me rescuing him. Well the day of his appointment comes around and they proceed to tell me he was never scheduled . It is extremely frustrating as I have waited months for this appointment. I feel as if they only care about money. I have no problem paying for my dog but I refuse to give a penny to them after this whole situation. Needless to say we are going to a different Vet office and will pay them for the procedure . I even brought my other dog in there to establish care with them. Very disappointing and will not recommend anyone to go there as the only care about making money.

I recently had to rush my dog, Mishka, to the veterinary clinic when she fell ill suddenly. I can't express enough how impressed I was with the promptness and professionalism of the staff at the clinic. Dr. Sanjay Verma, in particular, was incredibly compassionate and caring towards Mishka. Despite the clinic being 30 miles away from us, it was undoubtedly the best decision to bring her to a doctor that truly cares. ?????The entire staff was friendly and attentive, which made a stressful situation much more manageable. It's no surprise that they have so many amazing reviews - they truly deserve every bit of praise they receive. I couldn't have asked for better care for Mishka, and I am immensely grateful to Dr. Verma and the rest of the team at the veterinary clinic for their exceptional service. ? ? ?

We took our cat, they mis diagnosed our other cats cancer as well, bc she wasn’t acting like herself. Once we got there they took her in the back to test for a UTI when they brought her back in the carrier, her tail didn’t work anymore. We brought her in completely fine Barely 5-year-old cat who has had no problems at all in the past in for a POSSIBLE UTI. Tail working COMPLETELY. And then they took her to the back for diagnosis, but when they brought her back, and we took her out of the carrier, her tail did not work AT ALL.!!!!! PLUSSS a 1300$ billIt has been SIX MONTHS! We went into a different veterinarian to get x-rays because we didn’t trust companion anymore. Why would we?. Companion said it’s just her bum being sore from when they did her anal glands during the work up…nerves must have been hurt which means they were rough with her. So if you don’t want to completely MAIME your sweet baby.. don’t go here.

Angela was extremely supportive and showed each of us nothing but the utmost care and love while we were mourning the loss of our family dog of 10 years, Amir. We thank the entire staff at Companion Animal Hospital for their devotion in not only helping animals in the community but for their continuous support and the genuine care tha theey showed us, while going through such a difficult time. We appreciate you all!

Can i put -5. This is not an emergency hospital . They are clueless on handling a real emergency. They are a facility that should only be used for annual vaccines if that. I am a retired rn and worked at a level 3 trauma center hospital for 30 years. I brought my dog there and she died unnecessary . She turned out to be septic. She was in horrible shape when she was admitted . Instead of acting on the side of caution and giving strong antibiots, they hemmed and hawed (yawn) and basically didn't do until her labs went trough the roof and then decided to hurry up and give her antibiotics . By then it was too late. I am really disgusted by the level of incompetence. Had they been aggresive with her care and given her antibiotics as i requested she would probably be alive now, she was only 1 years old. Here is an example of a great animal hospital in chicago. I brought my male dog to premier hospital in chicago who was basically in the same shape, extremely bad. As soon as he was admitted they gave him antibiotics, they didn't wait until it was too late. They recognized an emergency an acted on it. This placed treated her as though it wasn't totally critical and did not do much for her until it was too too late. I am so sorry that I took her here. I should have listened to my insticts when they were admitting her and the vet did not listen to me . This is not the place to bring your pet if they are sick under any circumstance They are incompetent. And they charge alot for their incompetence and yes it does seem to be all about money. I won't even go back to the veterinarian who referred them to me
