The staff is very friendly. They know my dog when I walk in. The doctor is nice. My dog didn't get scared. He would talk to her.

I came in for a second opinion for a tumor removal from my cat. First thing noticeable, cats and dogs each have separate entrances which was a very pleasant surprise. Dr. White’s bedside manner was a 360 improvement from the first Vet’s opinion. He carefully explained his prognosis, the treatment and gave me a very agreeable estimate for the overall expenses. After surgery, he came out to meet with me and explained how the surgery went, how my cat responded and what next steps are to be expected. I am very pleased with our experience with Cheyenne Tonopah Animal Hospital and recommend taking your pets there for great care.

First and foremost the staff is nice and welcoming! Visits as of August 2024 are around $66. Two x rays for a small dog and a week long prescription of an anti inflammatory set me back $330. ~$250 for 2 x-ray images and $25 for the medication.
I originally came for a hind leg that was unable to have weight on it. Doctor white was very kind and very informative and welcomed questions about treatment. I do wish they took my little guy towards their back office and performed some manipulation on his hind leg as the default and then come back into the room to tell me possible diagnoses and if they couldn’t feel confident in a diagnose then push for x ray imaging. I opted for the X-ray to make sure my dog didn’t have a broken leg, thankfully just inflammation on the paw and the anti inflammatory medication was prescribed along with rest. Although I’m glad he didn’t have a broken foot and the service wasn’t too expensive for x ray I do wish they pushed the conservative route but I understand they technically can’t make a 100% confident diagnoses without the images and it also protects them from angry clients who’s pets don’t heal with the conservative route.
For my case I wish they did more conservative treatment during my time of stress.
Overall though I would come back and would recommend them as they are kind, welcoming, clean, and very informative in their explanations.

I’ve been taking my animals to CTAH for over 20 yrs and Dr. V has been my babies doctor for all of those yrs. Dr. V is absolutely wonderful and when he’s not there or available Dr. Lucas is the only doctor I will trust my babies with. I’ve had to go to other Animal Hospital in town and let’s just say CTAH is the absolute best animal hospital there is. They show compassion for every animal that comes through their doors.

Have been coming here for 30 years, Dr. Vanderlinden is awesome. Best Dr. ever. Polite,knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything. Staff is also great.?
