I ordered an horchata here once at the juice bar. I specifically asked the lady if it had any dairy and she looked me dead in the eye and lied. That horchata was nothing but some disgusting sugar milk. That was almost 4 years ago and I haven't stepped foot in a Cardenas ever since.

I like coming to Cardenas but the wait is too long...why don't they open more tills to pay???!!! It is very frustrating to see 6 lines and only one open box.

The ladys that work the food court at night clearly hate their job and they take it out on the customers, i just wanted to get an horchata and they took for ever to serve, then the girl charged me for medium and only had enough for a small. She didn’t even try to give me the difference in the price back she just walked away. So frustrating.

I love Cardenas but the bakery items (based off of 3 times) have been super dry. I had a 3 leches cake the last time for my husband’s birthday and it was dry!? I didn’t take a picture because we were all trying to enjoy time so I didn’t let it get to me in the moment.

I have been to this Super market many times. I am a Latina/ American women, I was raised by my Caucasian mother so I never learned how to speak fluent Spanish. Any time I visit this store I have never been able to communicate with any employee ever. Not one employee speaks any English what so ever...it seems that they get upset with me because I'm not fluent in Spanish .. The prices are a little high and the lady that works at the drink bar seems to hate her job. Her attitude is not very welcoming but besides that. It's close to my house and convenient.

This place is amazing, however, I feel that the sweet bread(pan dulce) is a bit out of proportion. It wasn’t until this last time that I noticed a huge difference in the stuffing portion. Please check the images below for references. The crust is also extremely dry. Quality of these products have drastically declined overtime.

I love the fruit it's fresh and sweet the store is always clean and the staff has always been nice to me and help when asked the meat department is always in order love the presentation keep up the great work

I am writing this note because today I was in Cárdenas and I had a mulatto Cuban cashier who treated me super badly, she threw all the food at me, she made a very bad face as if she didn't want to serve me and they told me to make me a little uncomfortable. I think I should hire more professional cashiers and to provide better customer service

Unfortunately had a bad experience yesterday,normally easy shopping. Decided I wanted a drink so I went over to the drinks area and got a horchata. Cashier charged me 3.99 for a large drink and the receipt didn't print, she called for help, she mistakenly put the receipt paper in wrong so it didn't print. I was then told I was didn't pay and I had to run my card again. Receipt not printing doesn't mean it didn't charge. She couldn't show me a canceled transaction so I left the drink. Her solution was I come back when the transaction clears on my end so I can get my money back.

Place is generally clean, however I do feel like their efforts have declined drastically. Fruit department is good and well as their pan dulce. As for the meat department it is terrible... I have gotten pork chops that smelled bad. I did return it right away (thankfully)
I went this week for ground chicken and it looked really gross dry and old even a different shade ??.
