Wow. Where do I begin. Let’s start from the very top: the fact that judging by the closing of once core locations and their inability to refurbish/rebuild their existing branches, leads me to believe that BofA is a failing banking institution, and judging by the people they hire, the hours they keep (10am-4pm? A 6 hour “work day?”), and the fact that one of their employees suggested I go to chase bank in order to cash a check from a totaled vehicle. But I will get to that. So, as I just stated, my vehicle was recently totaled, and as most of us know, used car shopping is a headache. So I finally get my check in my hands and go inside of this branch. I ask her when the funds will be available for withdrawal, she scans the check and says “tomorrow.” Great. Failing to mention that a check over $5000 might be subject to an extra hold. Not so great. So I go home, and I wrangle together a time and someone who is willing to drive me to pahrump in order to look at a car. All under the pretense that my check would be ready for withdrawal on the next business day. That was not the case. I go in today (the next business day) and explain to the extremely helpful woman with the septum piercing, the only one there capable of doing her job, explain to her the situation and how I am going to NEED at least half of my check, she says once it’s on a hold, there is nothing that the branch can do So I am told to call customer service, after waiting in line, I sit on hold for 30 minutes. Only to be told about the extra hold policy because of the size of the check, and that there is nothing that he can do to help me either. This is how you lose customers that have been banking with you for 20+ years. And as soon as the hold is released from my check, I plan on closing the account and taking my business to chase bank. BofPRC is not a good fit for me anymore.

I had to get a new debit card. As usual, I had to switch all of my payments to the new card. My rent payment, which is the same amount, to the same place, on the same day, every single month, was blocked and declined for "suspicious activity." The only reason I even had to get a new card was because you flagged another monthly regular transaction as "suspicious." I called confused, and instead of answering my questions, you just sent me a new card, and now you're blocking extremely important reoccurring payments. What is suspicious about paying bills?

We have had and still have a checking account with B of A for 32 years.Recently, we had fraud occur where someone opened a bank account in my wife’s name in another bank.My wife was sent texts by B of A asking if she made bank transfers. She replied no each time she received a notification text. $9800 was transferred out of our account in a months period.Almost $10000 was stolen from our account because B of A lacks the proper security to protect our money and broken security systems. My wife reported the problem July 14 when she realized her account balance reduced down to almost nothing during an ATM transaction. She had to make an appointment to see the branch manager. She went to the bank July 17.She spent 2 hours with the bank manager going through the fraudulent transactions. The bank asked her to open another checking account and said they would freeze her current account to prevent further loss. The manager had my wife get on the phone with the fraud department because you can not deal with a problem directly with the branch. You have to call the east coast and speak to someone in the fraud department. They said that they had to open an investigation. And it would be 30 to 60 days before the money they did not protect would be put back in the account. She said that was not acceptable. We have a mortgage and bills to pay. Then they said they would expedite the investigation and return our money in 72 hours. This was July 17.To this day July 29, B of A has not refunded our money. They have charged us for new checks for the account they had us open. We have $800 in bank fees for returned checks thus far.We have been told lie after lie.Apparently, the fraud department never opened a claim for the stolen money July 17 as they were supposed to and give us a claim number. This never happened.I again called July 21 and spoke to Michael in the fraud department who said the bank only opened a claim against our compromised account but not a claim for the stolen funds. According to Michael 2 claims needed to be made. One for our compromised account and one for the stolen funds.Michael opened a second claim for the stolen funds and gave me a claim number. Now that we had a claim for the stolen funds we were again told it would be 72 hours from the time the claim was opened to get any fund’s returned.Since this was our second interaction with the fraud department I asked to speak with a supervisor.Michael transferred me to a fraud manager by the name of Christine. We felt we were getting somewhere after another hour on the phone and having to go through the odyssey of pushing all the numbers on the phone to get to someone. We spoke to Christine on Friday July 21 who was very reassuring.I asked her if I was going to have to go through the grind of having to push all the buttons and have to explain again what happened? She said that’s how it’s normally done and there’s no way to call anyone in the bank directly who knows the case. But then she said because of what we’ve gone through she would call my wife Monday and to accelerate the return of our money. This promise never materialized. She never called Monday, Tuesday Wednesday or any other time. Our money has still not been returned. It’s bad enough criminals stole money from our checking account. But it’s worst that the institution that we entrusted to protect our money did not and has still not returned our money even when they clearly acknowledge it was their failure to protect us.This bank is broken in the worst way with bumbling incompetents. We have spent countless hours trying to get service and our money back. They are an epic failure. We are tired of pushing buttons trying to get somewhere. This is how they have treated long time customers.Just for perspective we had a fraud against an account we had at Nevada State Bank where even more money was stolen. When we reported the theft the bank credited us back our money the next day.If you’re considering a bank to protect your money stay away from B of A! Be warned.

One of my favorite Branches. Idk why the other bad reviews, I've personally only had great experiences at this location. They're always super friendly & thankfully I never have to wait more than about 5 minutes in line max. Gwendolyn was super patient & helpful! Thank you!

I had another very good experience at the Bank of America today. The teller at this branch, Gwendolyn, went completely out of her way to make sure I was able to complete my banking transaction. Above and beyond what I would have expected. For some reason, this has been the norm at the different branches I have visited. For years, I was not a fan of the B of A, but since moving to Las Vegas that has changed. Its not the bank itself, or its policies, as much as the people. I have been to many branches, and have had nothing but great customer service at each one.

Wow what a terrible experience at this branch. I’ve been a personal account holder with BOFA for years. I just recently about a year ago opened a business account with US Bank and figured why not keep it all in house with BOFA since they have been wonderful.Well I do think the bank overall is great and filed a complaint on this location and representative I worked with.So I go in to the bank 2/27 around 11:40 am, this young lady called “Wendy” the teller that I worked with was finished with the previous customer that looked like she might of still been finalizing something tells me “I’m not done yet need a few minutes” okay ofcourse no problem. My bad I’ll get back in line. She immediately says “Next costumer in line” okayyyyy cool no worries.I own a vending machine business with over 30+ locations I treat everyone with respect. This girl has zero of that.I bring over 700+ in ones due to my nature of business to the bank every week, so she counts the money with the money counter, proceeds to tell me “Next time you have to have a rough estimate of how much money you have.” Mind you yes I counted it but I wanted to be accurate as always and let them with the money counter count it for me.I tell her nobody when I go to any teller ever gives me a hard time on this ever. With my personal account never had an issue a today we get an issue over that. She said not giving you a hard time just need to have that next time, okayyy cool. Then have $40 in rolled quarters, she tells me “is there $10 in this roll?” Looking confused as the roll of quarters we all use says $10 on it. I go yes $10. She adds “No EXACTLY $10”, again I turn to my wife like yes $10, then says “ It’s complete ?” At this point I’m about to curse this person out but thought better to myself. I wasn’t brought up to be disrespectful so okay. “YES, $10 exactly”.Lastly I just got my business debit and had yet to receive the pin. Apparently this is a normal process which I 2-3 days letter was supposed to receive a bank pin. In which actually I did just today, great no issues for security reasons it’s the way they do it. I told this “Wendy” that I had not got a pin can she help me set one up. Has me put in the card, try a pin. Obviously didn’t work since I never set one up.Finished with transaction and yeah man just terrible service all around. Everyone has coaching opportunities and boy this girl needs one. If you don’t want to be there then really don’t. Anyway don’t bother going to this branch it’s terrible 12 teller windows 2 open and then after waiting you might roll the dice and deposit your hard earned money with “Wendy” no thanks.Bank of America overall is great I called right after my visit filed a complaint because people need to keep good people around and coach the bad ones. Also person on the phone couldn’t have been more wonderful just as all the other branches I visit.Do your self a favor skip this Jones BOFA all together. I’m a black Hispanic man don’t think this was a racially profiling issue either just a bad customer service issue.

Not only are they understaffed, but the manager, James, can be described as a 2 year old throwing tantrums and unwilling to admit fault.

A professional and well-managed branch is the best way to describe this boa on Jones. Very sweet and respectful branch manager I believer her name is Adrian/Adriannna? Epitome of a leader she is. Always eager to help, and is always involved throughout the day to ensure day is running smoothly

Walked in on Tuesday afternoon around 130pm in need of a banker to open a new account. Couldn't find a banker and the line was about 5-6 people deep. 10 minutes later, someone poked their head above the cubicle and asked us to wait in line. One of us waited and I chose to sit in the lobby. FORTY-FIVE MINUTES later, we got to the front of the line only to be able to set an appointment for another day and not to open an account right then and there. Meanwhile, I had sat in the lobby and never once acknowledged. This customer service might just 'CHASE' me away to a different bank.

Closed or under construction most of the time. Why are they now open from 10-4pm? Typically one person working the front with long lines. They need more people to help at Bank of America

Your doing no good standing there telling people we are short handed.

The ATM won't deposit checks over 2500 so I have to wait in a ridiculous 30 min line no matter which branch I go to just to deposit a check. It's sad this bank does not take care of its customers.
