On 12/29/23, I visited this store to buy dinner and pick up some items. The following is what occurred without exaggeration.Don't kid yourself with all these 5 star reviews. You might have one positive experience, or because you got friendly with a couple staff, folks trying to make a terrible store a good one lol. They sold me foul, rotten coleslaw, told the lady I wanted all dark meat chicken, she proceeds to put in white meat in while we were turned and not looking, then labels it for the price of all dark. When I handed her the wings from the wing bar to be weighed and labeled she snaps and says "that's up front I don't do that!". When we asked for other items e.g. pasta salad she acted like it was SUCH a nuisance. We maintained civility, thanked her for the items then finished up our shopping. When we got to self checkout we get to an empty register with the receipt from the previous transaction hanging out of the pad, i tore it off and placed it next to the register because I needed to retrieve my own receipt whenever I was finished. But one of the staff saw me do that, she comes up behind me to grab the receipt that I tore off (so she can toss it I guess) -- not even saying a word. Expecting me to just move while I'm trying to scan my items. When I didn't react to her fast enough she goes "excuse me!" Not even politely. Like I am just a nuisance in their way. I called when I got home at 430p to let the store director (what Albertsons calls their managers) know of the rotten slaw (I didn't even think to complain about the other stuff as I am not that petty -- but now i gotta), I got put on hold 3 times then finally one of their PICs (person in charge) came to the phone saying both the director and assistant director had gone home for the day. Friday afternoon,430p. And the captain of the ship has left his crew. I've never seen this level of management. I'm going to email corporate about this incident, and I will be CCing the email to the store's C09 email as well. Additionally, I will be contacting the health department regarding the rotten food served to us. As I've ingested a couple of bites of the slaw feeling something off, by the time I realized there was definitely something not right and took a closer examination, it was too late. And now I am having some degree of abdominal discomfort/pain.

I’m not a big Albertsons shopper but I do stop in here from time to time. The staff is pretty friendly and the lady and the customer service desk was helpful in a return I had recently. My main problem with this place is that every single time I come here I’m harassed at every exit and entry for money and spare change. People are camped at the doors waiting for people to walk in/out and it gets uncomfortable. They seem to be allowed to do it as many times it’s right in front of employees and nothing is said or done. The on duty manager needs to tell these people they are trespassing and to leave as it makes your paying customers uncomfortable. Now before someone reads this and thinks I’m being heartless here’s what I witnessed yesterday with it. Guy at the door begging for people to get him groceries. One woman falls for it and gives him a bag. I then watch him get into a newer and nicer car (SUV) than I have and drive off. It’s ridiculous

Acceptable grocery store. Couldn't find a basket when entering store. All liquor was behind locked cabinets and it took a long time for someone to come open them. Generally clean, produce looked good.

Dear Albertson,I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent change in policy regarding the reduced fare RTC bus pass at your location. As a long-time UNLV student, I have relied on this service for the past four years to assist me in reaching my educational institution without incurring excessive costs. However, I was shocked and disappointed when the cashier informed me that I could no longer obtain the reduced fare bus pass.Throughout my academic journey, the reduced fare RTC bus pass has been crucial in ensuring my accessibility to school. It has allowed me to save money, which is especially important for a student with limited financial resources. Not only does this change adversely affect my ability to commute, but it also places additional financial strain on me as a student.What is particularly frustrating is the lack of prior notification or explanation for this sudden alteration in policy. I have been visiting your location for years, and it is disheartening to experience such an abrupt change without any warning or clarification. As a valued customer, I believe it is my right to be informed about modifications that may impact my relationship with your establishment.Moreover, I find it difficult to comprehend how a service that has been available for many years is now abruptly discontinued. As a student, I rely heavily on public transportation, and the reduced fare RTC bus pass has been an essential part of my daily routine. It is disappointing to encounter a situation where a service that was previously provided is suddenly withdrawn without any reasonable explanation or alternative solution offered.I kindly request that you reconsider this recent change in policy and reinstate the reduced fare RTC bus pass service at your location. It is crucial to understand the significance of this service for students like myself who greatly depend on it. Furthermore, I strongly urge you to provide your customers with transparent communication regarding any future changes to services, allowing us to plan and adapt accordingly.Thank you for taking the time to consider my concerns. 7/31/23 came in for just a few things to snack on for the night, I had no idea at what time the store closes but there was one old man with glasses very rudely shouting over and glaring at me telling me they will be closing soon, then about 5 minutes later he comes over towards me and says," the registers are closed" I apologized and told him I didn't know what time they closed to which he THEN informed me at 10PM and it was 5 after, THEN as I'm walking towards the front and not far from the self checkout some other old white man that was working starts shouting at me while swinging his arm in circles like he's herding animals and keeps shouting "we're closed! We're closed" as he's swinging his arm in the direction I was already going in. EXTREMELY RUDE and disgusting behavior towards a customer. At that point the fact that he was so okay with talking to me that way regardless of me having fallen behind on time I honestly felt so upset and humiliated as he was acting out very unprofessionally. I got upfront to where the Asian old man also didn't communicate very kindly and was just grabbing and plopping down the produce I had without speaking a word to me. It was all so horrible and I have never been treated that way at any respectable establishment I've ever visited. I wasn't going to give them my business after being treated like that, so I just walked away leaving behind the handful of things I went in for. They've left such a disgusting impression on me I never want to return there to shop, and I'll be keeping my business with Smith's because they know how to treat people HUMANELY there. The men were terrible, but the one woman working up front was kind and greeted me politely when I first came in. It seems like those Night Shift men need better training on how to communicate with guests correctly AND politely.

I was just here on 07/31/23 around 4:30pm. There was a male and female employee working the self checkout line. But this review is towards the male worker (didn't get his name). I witnessed his unprofessionalism as he was talking to a customer he may have known (they seemed friendly) and then started making gestures to his friend regarding another customer who stood in line behind the both of them. The employee quickly moved away and out of the line and he was basically trying to whisper under his breathe and using his eyes and slight head tilt to get his friend to look behind him. And sure enough his friend looks behind to see what this employee is basically pointing at with his eyes. The customer was not of their walk of life and was minding her own business and this employee basically wanted to pass judgement. Now this male worker looked like he could be 40 but I guess this is a testament that no matter how old you are, there are horrible adults in this world. And this one happens to work at this particular Albertsons on Rainbow and Warm Springs. Please do better.

Provides a fantastic shopping experience. Everybody is always so friendly and helpful here. It has a solid selection of produce and other items. The store is kept super clean too. We highly recommend.

Produce department was terrible, moldy strawberries, mushy and moldy onions, the bakery was totally picked over, the lights were out in many display cases in the meat department, ice cream containers had ice built up on the outside, 1 checkstand open, and a long line in self checkout. I am very disappointed with this location and won't go back there. We will also be moving our prescriptions to a different location. We have gone to this Albertson's for 10 years.

The staff is awesome! Jacqueline at the meat counter is super helpful. The girls at the deli are so nice. Everyone always makes our daughter feel so welcome and listened to. She's super quiet and shy, but they take their time to hear her. We really like this Albertsons staff.
