I can’t say enough good things about Pet Network in Incline Village. Welcoming on the outside and clean and fresh inside. Brought in a dog we adopted 5 weeks ago. He had some behavior problems and we live in a townhouse with lots of dogs running around, with their owners, but off leash. We had gotten him from a private owner who lived in a large home in the foothills. He sat and looked out the windows and spotted coyotes. He is a barker and can get aggressive. He is only 13 pounds. His previous owner was a woman and he attached to me right away. He had been adopted as a small puppy from this Pet Network and they said they always take back pets that had been adopted from there if it didn’t work out. They are a no kill shelter. I have been to Humane Societies in different cities but none compares to this one. I communicated with Bradley Steelmon who had helped me get the chip transferred to my name before my husband s and and I realized he would be better off in a house with a yard and not a lot of dogs around. The dog and I bonded and I fell in love with him but he needed a different setting. Bradley helped me when I brought him in. He spent about an hour with me getting as much information as he could. I was able to see the room he went to. It was like a little hotel room with blankets and toys waiting for him. Everyone on staff was supportive and friendly. I even called the following day to see how he was doing and Bradley called me back to let me know he was scared but adjusting. If I can do anything to encourage someone who is adopting or rehoming to make that drive from Reno to Incline, I promise you will be so pleased with the staff, facilities and response. Thank you Bradley and staff for taking care of all of the animals there. And especially mine.

My grandson and I drove from Dayton to adopt our new family member. I found the staff to be polite and friendly. They gave me the necessary information for our dog plus extra resources. I had been trying for months on other websites to adopt and never received a call or email regarding the application. I found this wonderful place, and they made it easy for me to adopt. I would highly recommend them.

Amazing shelter for cats and dogs. Great staff and the best vet in the area. Dr Robl even helped out ferrets at Pet Station. Just an all around wonderful place.

We got our pet last December during their free month. We love our cat so much and the staff helped us so much to find our perfect cat!

I am incredibly hurt and upset. I was treated with a severe lack of professionalism in every way, that resulted in me wasting a significant amount of time, money, and emotional investment into a cat I was LIED TO about.I called and was told that if a cat was adopted then it should update in about 5-10 minutes on the website, and so if I were to check a bit after close and the cat was still on the site, it would still be available. I checked on the site a bit after close, the cat was still there, perfect. I was told it is first-come-first-serve. I arrived before 10 AM, before open. I drove all the way from Reno up the mountain just to get a specific cat, only to find out it had been adopted THE DAY PRIOR.Why was I told if it was still on the site, it would be available, only for it to be adopted/taken off the site WELL AFTER CLOSE? And, to top it off, the sibling (which I was also interested in potentially) already had a meet and greet booked. Before 10. BEFORE OPEN. If it is "first come first serve" then how in the world could someone book a meet and greet even before open? I wasted hundreds of dollars, time, I am hurt emotionally, all because of complete incompetence and unprofessionalism. Why couldn't I book an appointment online? Why couldn't I reserve or have a cat held for me? How in the hell am I supposed to adopt a cat that I want if the website and employees lie to me and are unreliable, and "first come first serve" doesn't actually mean that? Please change your business model and how you operate, I have never been so hurt and offended in my life. I thought I was getting a new family member today, and now all I get is a sad drive home and a sour taste in my mouth just thinking about your establishment and everything it does

I haven’t adopted a pet here or used the veterinary services, but I’m a new volunteer at Pet Network. The orientation was fantastic — I loved the tour of the facilities, which are kept super clean. It’s so clear that the staff really care about the animals here. No corners are being cut, everything is managed with love and dedication. Everything is super well-organized and systematic. The dogs and cats have plenty of space (no scary cages) and the dogs get outside enrichment multiple times per day. This is a quality place with quality people and they’re worth your consideration if you’re looking to adopt, foster, donate, volunteer, or use their vet services.

Really disappointing. We're summer residents & have volunteered here for many years (10+). Countless hours walking dogs, cleaning cages, visiting/socializing with animals & supporting fundraisers. It was a great experience. Things have changed. This year we walked in with the intention of also adopting after the loss of our own family dog of 15 years. We were stopped at the door by an unfamiliar face & told we couldn't even go in to the dog area absent an escort. Nor could we casually visit with the cats as we'd done in the past. Huh? I told them we were long term volunteers & it didn't matter. A new "volunteer coordinator" appeared & explained we needed several weekend hours of "training" (in addition to the full training we had when we started) & that we were not allowed to even look through the glass at the dogs absent an employee escort. Wow. Our escort finally arrived & told us we were also not allowed to enter the back play yard to see 2 who were out there. Huh? Our entire visit was physically monitored, which felt awkward. We were never left alone with a dog. We asked to see a specific one of adoption interest & were told she was "sick" (kennel cough). Too sick to be seen-"could be fatal." Hmm...ok. We explained we were very interested in this dog & would they please let us know when she was no longer "sick" so we could see her. Nobody ever called. We checked every single day & finally walked in exactly one week later to ask in person. Someone else then told us that she had apparently been cured AND adopted within the space of this week. Seriously? It seemed pretty obvious that some insider had a hold on this dog & we were lied to. Our time & hopes needlessly wasted. This is a very well funded large building with very few animals and lots of employees. I get the feeling that it's a lot more concerned with appearances than really making a dent in the lives of millions of animals languishing in less fortunate shelters. Our future volunteer hours, donations & adoption intentions are clearly needed & appreciated far more elsewhere.

Adopting from Pet Network was a wonderful and fulfilling experience! You can tell the staff deeply love the animals they serve and try their hardest to bring these furry friends into your life. I’m so thankful for them bringing me together with our newest member. If you are looking to add to your family please consider adopting from here. They truly go above and beyond.

Best shelter I’ve ever been to. Michael, and the staff that were there, are the best. Friendly, knowledgeable, amazing people. Shelter does health checks, gives you some food, a little carrier, and a Polaroid picture with your new family!

DO NOT RELY ON THE WEBSITE OR OVER THE PHONE FOR CURRENT AVAILABILITY. I called right away during business hours only to have the option to leave voicemails. Finally had someone return my call half an hour after to say all their kittens on the website were still available. I notified them we were traveling from a long ways and they had even confirmed they would call me back if anything changes. I arrive there about 40 minutes after that call for the lady at the front desk to tell me ALL of the kittens we were interested in were no longer available. I understand this facility is first come first serve, however the lack of customer service to let us know is what is why I will no longer consider the commute here.

If you have a persnickety fuzzy one, or a fearful four-legged friend, the animal hospital side is amazing. This guy got a "friendly" rating. And he really was. Friendly. He didn't crawl up anyone, embed any claws, or mewl like a tortured banshee. Not even once. Fast diagnosis/testing. Reasonable pricing. Couldn't be more pleased.

I just adopted a dog, and the staff was very helpful on the items I needed to get for him. Cheapest in the area as well as the best selection
