Very disappointed, very old and dirty brushes!! Was told don't need to change the water, but when painting a Santa in the snow the color the water changes to makes it difficult to paint the snow that needs to be white. The mother is so condescending she gives you a lecture when need more paint she ignored you when you raise your hand. So you get up to get more paint and tells you go sit down and I'll bring it. But takes her sweet time and mean while the teacher is moving on. The mother and the teacher (daughter) came off like they didn't want to be there, very BAD ADDITUDES. Will NEVER GO BACK TO WINE AND CANVAS again!!!

My boyfriend and I decided to try out Wine and Canvas for a date night, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. Not only did we get to create a piece of art to cherish, but the entire process was also incredibly enjoyable. The instructor was clear and engaging, guiding us step-by-step through the painting, ensuring we felt confident and relaxed. As an added bonus, they offer cocktails for purchase, elevating the overall experience. If you're looking for a fun, creative, and interactive date night idea, Wine and Canvas hits the mark. It's a fantastic blend of artistic expression and enjoyable company, all wrapped up in one memorable evening.

This was my first time visiting here. I have been to other paint and sip places before. I received a Groupon for Wine and Canvas as a gift so I was excited to try it out.If you have a Groupon just be aware that you cannot reserve. You are considered a walk-in so just be sure to check that there are still spots available for the painting and day you choose and that you arrive on time or a few minutes early. The overall experience here was good! I enjoyed the painting and I feel like the class was fun. The instructor was also great when it came to explaining things and I was able to follow along easily. I thought the paining for the night was a cute and fun one! There are drinks available for purchase. My group and I decided to go with a pitcher. They were tasty but mostly juice so I think next time I will try to order something else to drink. Overall I had a fun experience and would be back again to take another class!

This was out first time here. It was a surprisingly comfortable and cool space. Lots of art on the walls and funny pictures and clever posters. The drinks were priced very fair. The mother and daughter team did an excellent job hosting the event. Everybody had fun. The art lesson was very well organized.

Because it was Sunday, I wanted to switch up my usual uneventful day . My mom is visiting, so I always love introducing new things to her. Both of us have never done anything like this before, so we were both excited to try something new!The place is family owned. The artist with 25 plus years of experience is the daughter. The bartender is her mom ? Mom is also the assistant and comedian ( a great sense of humor)The artist was very patient, and you can tell that she definitely loves her job. She's a natural born teacher ! While teaching us how to paint, she also walks around the class to assist the novice "artists" like myself, ? She made me laugh as I constantly criticized how my sunflower looked like a volcano or California bush fire! She laughed and said, "Don't be so hard on myself. I said thank you, but I know a fire when I see one, and that was definitely NOT a sunflower. " LOL (see pictures below)For the drinkers, you have the option of bottomless mimosas, cocktail, and wine menu. Along with lots of snacks. They also played games , so you had the opportunity to win prizes. Great music, too!Oh- ask about their punch cards, too. For every ten punches, you get a free class.Overall , it was a fun experience, and surprisingly, it was very relaxing.I'll definitely be telling my friends! As always, I'll be back in my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice ?

$29/person for a Friday night 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm session.... Yes, please. Arrived at 6:00 pm when they opened the doors as I seen other people mention getting there early to snag a good seat. There were only 14 people for last nights painting so seating wasn't a problem. Check in at the front with the owner/instruction Joy (don't need the bar scan cause they will have your name). Pick your seat and set up your blank canvas. Then head to the bar area where Joys mom is and get a drink and or snack. If you check in on Yelp, you will get a free popcorn. For drinks, you can get wine or a small selection of beers. Snacks are chips, popcorn, some candy. They did take cards for payment. After settling in, they started promptly at 6:30 pm. Joy and her mom were making sure everyone had what they needed and just made sure everyone had fun. You don't have to be an artist to enjoy this. There are a couple breaks for about 5 minutes to let your paint dry before moving on to the next section of your painting. Halfway through the painting session, Joy brought out a wheel and gave away a few prizes and that was super fun. I won a bottle of wine and my boyfriends mom won a free drink which was a nice surprise. My boyfriend, his mother, and myself really enjoyed our time. The only negative was the temperature was quite warm so make sure to bring a jacket that you can take off, if needed. Other than that.. wonderful time. Would recommend giving this business a try.

This is the second time I've been there. I definitely enjoy myself and it is an easy relaxed atmosphere. The lady that runs the class is very fun and takes plenty of time for us. When I was there before you were given one glass of wine or soft drink. That's no longer the case. I also was not fond of the colors that were on our plate. I came home and repainted 50% of it. I added the lettering "give thanks "myself because it's very difficult to paint letters. I would still go back again, but I wish for the $35, they would include at one drink.

Update: Joy discovered that her emails sent out to cancel the class didn't go through. She made it right with me and I attended this past weekend and so happy I did! I haven't had that much fun in a while. She is very talented and also a bit of a stand-up comic lol. Very entertaining class and I think my art turned out pretty well considering I haven't painted in 30+ years. They offered assorted drinks alcohol/nonalcohol for reasonable prices AND she had a spinning wheel where you could be picked to spin and win different prizes! I loved it so much, I will be going back ...probably in October for my birthday. Thank you Joy. You were very gracious with my previous issue and EXTREMELY Talented.

So.... We've been twice now. Wanted to give it a second shot before I reviewed this establishment. Sometimes people have off days... so the benefit of the doubt....but that didn't seem to be the case here.So... where do I begin. The decore is cute. Some of the painted walls are entertaining... lots of sample painting on the walls & in the bathroom... makes the inside quite unique. Both times we has the same instructor & assistant (her mother). Unfortunately, this is where the experience goes off the rails. The instructor tells you if you want any colour just ask... they have them all. So when I asked the assistant (on my first visit) for some pink... I was told to mix red & white. I said, but she said you had all colours. The mother stated, yeah fine ill go look through hundreds of colours for you. That wasn't the response I was expecting. On our second visit, I asked the mother for pink and she said very snidely, oh now I remember you... I looked at her shocked ?... that made me feel so bad & uncomfortable... I told my husband who was there with me...and he was not impressed... not a great way to start the second session. The instruction itself is fine... She gets ya through the painting process... However, my suggestion would be.... either clean your brushes better before you set them out for others to use... OR have separate brushes for people who use glitter. The very first step is to dampen your canvas... unfortunately, the brush I was given was covered in glitter & I wasn't aware until my canvas was covered in glitter... Yuck! Not what I wanted... and for the price I wouldn't have expected such lack of care. Plus, it wouldn't hurt if the dollar store paint brushes were replaced a little more often. Unfortunately, if you want to be precise you won't be with these brushes.Overall it wasn't a horrible experience... I've had far better & way more professional... So for those reasons we will not return & won't be recommending this particular painting experience.

My first time. I had a great time. Everyone was very nice, and the artist was very helpful showing us exactly how to make our paintings look great. I definitely recommend trying it out.

Such a fun place for a date night or just a night out with friends. The step by step instructions are easy to follow & by the end, your painting actually looks something like it's supposed to! It's a really good time!!
