I called the store driving an hour to there & Carmen was beyond accommodating when I arrived she was so kind & friendly & beyond patient with me as I haven’t bought any appliances since 1999 she was knowledgeable & professional I purchased a stove & refrigerator from her & will be returning in a few weeks to purchase my washer & dryer as I could find a set that I liked yesterday. Carmen will definitely be my go to person as well as who I refer family & friends to for appliances. So happy to have found her. She took the stress out of buying appliances.

Stop in to buy a washer/dryer. The employees were all huddled together, conversing amongst themselves. Pretty unfriendly environment. Approach by Virginia who seems pretty pleased to tell us they do not have unit we found on their website. They did have a floor model, but I guess they don’t sell open box models. My wife and I felt unwelcome, the team seemed to be more interested in their personal conversation.
We ended up buying the same unit from another retailer.

This was our second time visiting American Freight. We were always greeted in a friendly way and all our questions were answered. John was our salesperson today. We like to look without being followed around. AF allows you to do that. We made our purchase today.

I recommend it 100%. Good prices, practically new items, some cosmetic things, good brands. Virginia, the sales representative, very attentive, helpful and willing to help you at all times without forcing you to buy, she explains everything to you and if there is an item that you want to verify in her other location, she calls and verifies it for you.

My father and I went in to buy a dishwasher, and the experience shopping in the store was fine. The sales attendant was helpful and nice. However, after that, the customer experience was awful - particularly the delivery. We were first told that that it would take 4 days for delivery - this seem rather long given that other places deliver within 2 days. Then when they were supposed to deliver on Monday, they called and said they couldn't come until the next day at 10:30 Tuesday. When Tuesday arrived, we found out that the delivery time was a lie, given that the delivery company couldn't even pick up the appliance until the store opened at 11 am. And when the delivery finally came at noon, the store had forgotten to hand over the parts for installation and we had to run out to the store to repurchase the parts. When I called to complain, the store manager basically said that the delivery was beyond their control since it was a 3rd party and that they were "just as frustrated" with the delivery folks. No apologies, or recognition that its the customer that has to bear the pains of these delivery problems. Instead it was basically telling the customer "not my problem". Sorry but American Freight hires the delivery company so it is your problem. An important aspect of buying an appliance is ensuring that the delivery also goes smoothly.
