Had a great experience with a smog check last time I was there and previous oil changes. I recommend perfect auto in Saint Rose and Eastern to all my family and friends and anyone else that reads this.

Do not go here these Purrfect Auto are crooks. I went to go get a smog from these guys they told me there was a harness connected to my port which there was one nearby and not connected from a dealer I bought it from years ago. So they failed the smog automatically without even hooking it up. So I took it home took off the dashboard and took out all of that old Dealer GPS harness. The only thing that was left was Dodge wiring with Dodge tape around it. I put the dashboard back together again drove back and they inspected the wiring again.When I was sitting there they tried pulling the same scam on an older lady also the told her they would fix hers for 300 then when she said she didn't have it they would only charge 150 she said no again. She explained she has been going there for years and never had a problem but now there is and that was same with my truck I always went with them every year and never had a problem. I always work on my own cars because of crooks like these Purrfect Auto scammers they didn't know I used to be a mechanic.I also told them no inspection 5 times before the service.

Please avoid this shop at all cost, solely because they have a guy named Damon running things. I have brought my vehicles here in the past with no complaints at all. My past visits to purrfect auto have all been great, until they hired Damon. I brought my Yukon in because we got stalled. There was a message on my screen in addition to a check
Engine light. I signed off giving them authorization to run a diagnostic. Everything seemed routine. Then I received my first call from Damon. “How long was the light on for?” “You got like 20 codes on here” I proceeded to let him know that this had just occurred last night. Few hours go by, here comes the second call from Damon. “We’re gonna have to drop the oil pan to find out what’s wrong with the vehicle sir. Once we do this I’ll be able to fully diagnose and fix the problem. “It’s gonna be $800 to drop the pan, do you consent?” I gave them the green light that I would pay the $800. So now the day is over and they close at 6pm, 5:45pm Damon calls telling me it’s been very slow and could I give them a cc so he could book the $800 for that day. No problem Damon, and gave him my cc. The next day Damon calls, tells me he
Found metal shavings and some sludge in the oil, the timing chains also needed to be replaced along with the oil pump and some other things, price tag, $5500 plus tax. Told him there’s no way I can afford that and he came down on the price and I paid it. Got the call that the truck was fixed! Picked it up and thought this problem was behind me. Drove it around for one day and with my whole family riding 110 degree heat we stalled with the exact same message, the problem I paid all that money to fix was not fixed. Called them up the next day and the very nice lady in front asked if I could drive the truck there, which I did and left it for them to check out. This next call from Damon was a call in which he was trying to tell me that this was a different problem ? I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, I had paid all this money and this man was tryna pass the buck! I immediately stopped him and said “it’s the same message sir!!” So we hung up and that day went by then the next day went by till right around closing Damon calls basically telling me everything was gonna be fixed and he just wanted to drive it around and I could pick it up the next day. Cool, the next day comes and half the day goes by, about 1pm Damon calls and sounds totally different. He proceeds to talk about something, I couldn’t really understand but basically he’s gonna need another $700 dollars for a sensor or something that would be the actual fix. Smh ?♂️. I got a little upset and did not want to pay this $700 that I really couldn’t afford, I mean I had already paid him $3600. I was upset and he didn’t want to talk over the phone. I went down to the shop and to make this already long story short, Damon pretty much threw the keys in my face and declined to do anymore work on my vehicle. I wish I could return the work for the $3600 back then I could go get a second opinion like you asked me to do Damon.
Guys, if you go to perfect auto with a problem and you end up talking with Damon, RUN, RUN FAST! DONT LOOK BACK!! THIS MAN IS A DISASTER…
Two weeks later and I’m finding out MORE DECEPTION FROM MR DAMON, WHAT A LIAR AND A PITIFUL HUMAN BEING.
So that part you said you found for me that you could give me for like 700 and install it no labor charge. I just found it for anywhere from 55-75 bucks. Your sad dude so sad!!!

I just used them for a smog.
Pass is $9.99. Fail is $3.99
There’s an air conditioned waiting room although I was out within 20 minutes.

Charged me $3000 for an oil change!!! Avoid this place at all costs! Didn't realize they were Rated F by the Better Business Bureau until I checked after this happened. Went in for an oil change, as they offered very good price. While there, they offered me a ‘complementary’ inspection of my vehicle, and was told it would cost me $3000 to make it safe to drive. Concerned about this, I told them I wanted to get a second opinion. I actually got 2, including from a Findlay Honda. Both said that the items identified were fine and that I should cancel work that PURRFECT auto said I needed. So I canceled. Turns out that they charged me for the full job ($3000) already- even though I told them I was getting a second opinion! Tried to get credit card to remove charge, but Purrfect apparently tells them they did the work (they only ever had the car for 20 minutes total), so they won’t remove the charge. Credit card company said if I had a note on their letterhead saying the work hadn’t been performed and was canceled, they would reverse the charge. Purrfect refused!!! They even hung up on me multiple times when I tried to get this resolved. I will be taking them to court.

I’m giving everyone a heads up don’t come here these people are fraud. They will lie to you to do service not required for your car. I don’t know how these people are still in business but they messed with the wrong person for scamming me. Save your money and time run far away from here. If you don’t believe me check the better business Bureau they are rated an F. I should have checked there before.

Dont trust anything these people will say, special the manager they lie to you about helping you out with your needs to fix your car and hook you up with discounts then charge you everything no discounts.. and stick you with a bill higher then you can offerd and ofter all that i still have the same problems with my car.. so dont waste your time and money with them

I love this service shop. I bring all my cars here for smog inspections. The service techs are friendly and knowledgeable and the lady behind the counter is polite and efficient. I send all my friends here for service and I highly recommend this service shop. Thank you for your expertise.

Was looking for a place to get a SMOG a couple months ago that wasn’t super expensive and was thrilled to find out Purrfect Auto only charges $10 regularly (no coupon needed), whereas places like Jiffy Lube cost $33 regularly and offer a $5 coupon if you find it online…Got to the Eastern location and was greeted by the very friendly & helpful receptionist, Susie. In & out in no time. Have since told friends & family to go there if needing a SMOG & plan to go in for an oil change soon.

What a nasty horrible place, called about availability for smog test. They told me it was not busy, arrived 5 min later. All of a sudden 1.5 hour, thanks for wasting my gas and time.
