I pre-purchased a service with this company and they still wanted my credit card information to book an appointment. After confirming my appointment, I received an email stating that my appointment was canceled. I called establishment and the person who answered the phone screamed at me and talked over me and told me what do you want me to do? No explanation on why my appointment was canceled no basic customer service skills and completely disrespectful! I told the lady to stop yelling at me and to talk to me calmly, and she hung up on me and refused to answer any of my calls. This place is a scam! They want your credit card information and nothing else.

This is the third time I've been fooled by the Google hours which show 10-5 Tuesday-Sunday. It was supposedly updated 4 weeks ago. Yet, Google shows"closed" by the header when looking it up online, at 10:30 am. In addition, the clerk opened a new product for a friend of mine when there was no sample. She says that no one would ever know! Unclean. This is my last visit. Just wanted a new lipstick.

The young advisor was very welcoming and gave lovely conversation and shared new product information. With my purchase she gave me 2 samples of new products. I am a former Merle Advisor and told her after we were finished. I complimented her on her performance. Think her name is Chris?

This review is about the Merle Norman part of this business. I did not use the spa services. I visited this business with my teen daughter with the intent to purchase a product I had read about online. The woman working was abrupt, condescending, and apparently had little knowledge of the Merle Norman products. Merle Norman has exactly one (1) acne -specific serum but after asking "Is it for her?" indicating my daughter and embarrassing her, she demanded to know the exact name of the anti-acne serum I was looking for (again, they have ONLY ONE), so I looked it up on my phone (it is "Acne Defense Daily Treatment Serum") only to be told "We don't have any of that." No "But you can order it online" or "I'm sorry, we expect to get some in in ___", etc. Just "we don't have any." I then took a look around the store, which is very small as are all Merle Norman studios, and found it to be pretty sad and unimpressive, especially compared to the Merle Norman studios I remember from my youth, which were always pristine little pink jewel-box like makeup and skin care studios that made one feel like visiting was a treat. When I picked up a boxed skin care item and was reading the box, the woman snapped at me "Don't open the boxes! Those are not testers!" I understand that some people are jerks and test products that are not testers, but I was not doing that. At that point I had had enough of the woman's brusqueness and general lack of customer service and left. A business like this should provide an excellent customer service experience, especially to stay alive and complete with department stores and mega-cosmetics stores like Sephora and Ulta. I had wanted to support a local business and local employees, which is why I hadn't ordered the product online. I will however now be ordering online and will not be visiting this local business again.

This place is very unprofessional and liars. They stated that they text me and they called me to let me know. I was not able to use my Groupon the day of my appointment. I have the records nobody called me, and when I got to my appointment, the doors were locked.

I bought the Groupon as well...tried to make an appointment and was told I can only do so online. BUT: even with a valid voucher they want my credit card information to make an appointment- WTH??? Called back and was told they will not make appointments via phone, the lady answering the phone was incredibly unprofessional, telling me that all customers seem to have that problem and inferring that I was stupid, Yeah...no way I will allow a place that unprofessional to touch my face!
