If you are anything like me, you have a spreadsheet and are interviewing daycare centers for the best fit for your kiddo. I’m here to tell you that La Petite Academy on West Warm Springs in Henderson has been an exceptional daycare choice for our daughter over the past two years (aged 3-5). From the outset, the front office staff has consistently provided a welcoming atmosphere, making drop-offs and pickups stress-free. The director Ms. Cris’s leadership qualities shine through, evident in the smooth operation of the center and also in her role in training staff across other locations.
The heart of La Petite Academy lies in its dedicated teachers, just calling out a few in Ms. Betsy, Ms. Nicole, and Ms. Emily, who have been instrumental in our daughter's growth and development. Their passion for teaching and nurturing children is evident in every interaction, and they implement their play-based curriculum with fidelity. We have also met other families through the center who have become close friends.
One of the standout features of La Petite Academy is its communication platform, SproutAbout. This app has been a lifeline for us, providing real-time updates and insights into our daughter's daily activities, learning progress, and even fun photos of the day.
As we prepare for the transition to Kindergarten next year, we are filled with mixed emotions. While we are excited about the next chapter in our daughter's education journey, we will undoubtedly miss the daily caring community and exceptional care provided by La Petite Academy in Henderson. It's been a wonderful experience, and we are grateful for the positive impact it has had on our daughter's formative years.

I write this review for La petite located on Patrick lane in Whitney ranch. I was bringing my son Logan there and we were treated very bad. As a single mom and low income family I wanted to be understood and helped by staff but instead Melissa, which is the director, she’s a heartless woman and very greedy. If you’re low income she looks at you like you’re nobody and she’s rude also, she only smiles to families in good financial position. They were complaining on my son while they didn’t even take care of him properly. He kept getting ear infections and they took him outside, his pants were wet and he was cold, nobody cared. Also I saw miss Heather pushed my son. I gave 2 gift cards on Valentine’s Day to 2 teachers and I guess Melissa was waiting for a gift also and shortly after she dismissed my son from daycare. He’s only 2 years old, he needs someone with good heart to explain him and teach him. I think Melissa should not be working in childcare facility and this world needs good at heart people to take care of our children. They are always short staffed and putting kids in different groups to different teachers, absolutely not having heart for children they watch. Just want to say thank you to miss Itzel, she was very nice.

Today I called this place because I was interested in taking care of my daughter there, the woman who attended me was very rude and I would say racist because I simply asked if someone spoke Spanish who could help me and she didn't even give me the opportunity to try it on myself. English that is not very good I defend myself in my daily life he hung up on me!!

La Petite in Henderson, NV is the best day care in town. The teachers in the Early Preschool Program are amazing! The staff are very welcoming and friendly. My little one can be walking through the hallway and she gets greeted very warmly every time. The Bright Wheel App is such a great platform for communication. The teachers are active in taking pictures of your child's day as well as documenting other activities they are involved in and I get to see these communications immediately through the app. La Petite also have live feed you can watch your child using watch me grow platform. The first week I watched my little one a lot using this but then I started to get comfortable and reassured that she was going to be ok. I strongly suggest to take a tour and see for yourself.

I cannot say enough amazing things about La Petite Academy in Henderson, NV. My daughter has been attending this school since she was 12 weeks old, she is about to turn 2. They have shown my daughter love and cared for her on a daily basis with such passion for their jobs. Each teacher that has been in her life she has fallen in love with!! It is a great feeling to go to work on a daily basis and know without a doubt that your child is being taken care of and taught age appropriate curriculum, even at such a young age! I would choose La Petite over and over again for child care!

I thought this was going to be a great place however when I went to pick my daughter up she was so happy to see me she ran up to me and gave me big hugs and kisses . I got into a disagreement with her mother because of covid and didn't go back about a week later cps stoped by to check on my daughter and talk to my kids mom . They said that la petite called and was concerned that I was over affectionate with my daughter and thought I was under the influence . I am sorry but my daughter loves me , I work had at work and get dirty . When I get off work I am tired . I meet with cps and everything was fine . I can't believe these people would even do this . Oh well there are better places out there . Choose carefully . Have a good day .

My kids haven't gone here but with the poor communication skills they have I'd rather not have them go. I had made an appointment for 12-16-2020 and could not make my early appointment so I made another appointment for that same day but at a later time. They called me to say they can't see me at the later time and to call back to reschedule. I called back and they said someone will call me back to see what day I can go in. It's now 12-19-2020 and no one has called me back but they did send me a confirmation email for an appointment which I didn't make. They just chose what day and time I would go in and didn't call to ask if the day was good for me..

I found Chris Yepez director of La Petite Academy, to be verbally aggressive, unprofessional, and rude, when asked basic information about the program. She did not listen to my questions, before she became verbally aggressive. Example, I was speaking with the receptionists on my concerns with safety. She got up from her desk, behind the receptionist, and approached me, and said, " If I want to know about any complaints to contact licensing." I let her know, that wasn't my question, it was regarding children's safety !! She than goes on to say rudely,"make an appointment, than we can answer any of your questions."I thought to myself, maybe she was just having a bad day! I came back the next day and had a tour. The teachers were knowledgeable and helpful! On the third day. I contacted La Petite Academy via phone, to get an exact estimate, when she yelled at me, " didnt you call yesterday, we gave you an estimate. " Had she allowed me to explain myself, without interrupting me,she would have known that the receptionists, was unsure of the pricing.I will not be enrolling my child into this facility, where the director behaves in such a manner. How will you treat my child? How do you treat your employees? This was two seperate incidents, I have experienced her to be verbally aggressive, unprofessional, and rude. Unacceptable behavior Chris Yepez.

My son has been going here for 2 years+ and now my other little one is as well. I’ve found it to feel safe, caring, and respectful. They treat my children so well and they help us with any concerns, no matter how big or small. They make us, as parents, feel valid for any question we have and they just cherish my kids and teach them the values of sharing, friendship, and education that we hold dearly at home. I can’t even pick out any outstanding teachers on their own because there are SO MANY who are wonderful. It’s just amazing to be comfortable with a childcare who cares for my children as I do.

Really disappointed in how my infant was taken care of. We quickly removed him from the facility. Our baby cried so much there, caught a cold in a matter of days and the list goes on I just don't want to go further into it. My baby is now thriving in the care of a different childcare provider and I'm so thankful I made changes.

My husband and I had a tour scheduled in the morning, when we arrived we were let in by parents leaving. No one was in the front so we waited understanding that this is when parents are dropping off their kids. We stood in the front for 20 minutes without seeing one person who worked at the daycare. Finally I called and someone from the back answered and said she would send someone up. When Rita, the employee who was going to do our tour got to the front she was visibly flustered and frankly appeared annoyed that we were there. She told us about how busy she was at this time of day which made us feel very uncomfortable then stated "you know there's no openings for 2 months?" Clearly we didn't know that, I explained that I had called when I scheduled the tour and was told there was an opening which was why we chose this location. She basically said I was lying and that no one would have said that. Rita then said "Well do you still want to do the tour?" At this point I was so disappointed and frankly hurt by the way my husband and I were treated that we both just said no and left. Our daughter is an infant and we have never dealt with a daycare center before and this experience was awful. How could they expect me to want to leave my new baby with them after having an interaction like this?

La petite is the best day care ever!!! My daughter started going when she was around 24 months, this was my first daycare experience so it was very difficult for me to leave her. But the teachers at la petite are so caring and loving to the kids that she had no problem adapting to the change. They have this wonderful app where they send you photos of the activities your child is doing and even what they are eating, it makes me feel peace.
