Do they sell tools and whatnot at a more economical price? Yes. Are they the only one in the area so they can treat customers how ever they want? Also yes.
We were 8 people deep at the check out line and they had one register open. When asked if they can open another register, the cashier said there isn't enough people. At the same time, the gentleman who I presume to be the manager said "nope". I know this isn't Saks Fifth Avenue but customer service shouldn't matter less because you're a discount store. The appropriate response should be apologetic and thankful for our patronage.
When it was finally our turn to pay, the cashier asked how we are even though it was apparent I was displeased about the long wait. He should have said "I'm sorry about the wait." Companies that ignore the customer's response or feelings are the ones that will eventually fail or at least not grow at the rate their shareholders would like them to.
At the end of the day, the brand and its offers are worth coming back, but don't expect the customer service to be anything to write home about. And I hope the staff learn better customer service so they can move up above their stations in life.

All the gadgets you don't need in one place haha you can't beat some of their prices. You definitely get more bang for your buck than at HDepot or Lowes. Staff are all very nice consistently.

Who doesn't like wandering around harbor freight. There not too busy. Only been a couple times they were out of stock of something. Oddly again more cars than customers. Lol.

These guys need to find a way to get rid of the idea that everyone seems to say they have cheap tools from China. I wouldn't buy everything from here, but in a pinch, you can usually buy what you need fast and be on your way.

Bought a scissor jack to replace the missing jack for my 2020 Altima.
1st use changing a flat. What a piece of garbage this jack turned out to be.
Cranking to get the tire off the ground was a complete struggle. After finally mounting the spare, the threads on the jack bound up and would not lower the car. I litterally had to put the car in drive and roll the car off the jack to get the tire on the ground.
It was the Lift-Master 1.5 ton jack. Do not buy. It's garbage.
Got back home, went to Nissan and they gave me a scissor jack for free. Used it to change brake pads, What a breeze.
