The staff at the self checkout is literally trash.
I was very shocked from the behavior of one of them. She was Indian and I checked out around 1 pm today. I was looking for the barcode for the bagle bags then she suddenly came up and slamed the screen with her fingers to find the barcode no comment and angry motions and I thought she is mad at me for some reason. Then she disappered. She was super rude and and I was doing my job to check out and she poured out her bad emotion from something else to me. Hey, the owner of this location, please fire her up and she is ruining your store!

I’ll keep going to this Costco because it’s the closest one to my house but honestly the people working the exit where they check your receipts are rude.
I needed to use the bathroom before shopping and she told me I had to go through the entrance and scan. I think that’s ridiculous because I showed her my membership and was like hey I just need to use the restroom first. This crackdown is too strict and really gives a truly POOR customer experience.

Costco has no response to doomsday shoppers cleaning them out of toilet paper every single time. Please do better Costco. Put a limit on memberships: one per day per membership. Stop letting doomsday shoppers ruin it for literally everyone else.
Update: they have since restocked and hopefully limited doomsday shoppers from cleaning them out. Doomsday shoppers cause more of a shortage than the actual shortage itself, and I really hope Costco recognizes that and actually responds accordingly to protect their clientele moving forward. Take control and make our membership fees worth it by taking a more proactive approach next time, please.
