I recently purchased a new vehicle and the dealer selected this company for the financing. Great rate on my new auto loan and their customer service is genuine. However, this company works in the Stone Age of technology because there's no way to make an online payment. I don't have checks and haven't written one in over 10 years. And thus, they're charging me late fees for their antiquated system. I was told I could go to a local branch to make a payment, which is over an hour drive to the closest branch. Or they could set up an ACH transfer, which is another fee per month.Make sure you understand the services that you get before selecting this credit union for any loans. Unless you have checks to write. Or live close enough to drive to the branch.

After three months with this Credit Union, I am finding out that a check I deposited will have a 9 day hold! They tell me this is the policy until I have had the account for six months. So, they will have my money in two days, (the check is drawn on a major bank), but I won't have access for another week after that! Unbelievable!

Its is what it is with this bank they say they service the community but they really don't they don't open until 10:00 a.m. and they close at 4:30 yes the drive-thru is open till 5:00 but come on most workers don't get off here until 5:00 p.m. so good luck paying your bills unless you take your lunch time but the people who work inside are nice as ever

Solo just saying... I appreciate the people at financial Horizons Credit Union Hawthorne NV. I appreciate the VERY prompt advisory msg on the website. I appreciate the understanding while resetting my account miss Thea! I've been with this bank 10 + years including the 6 months out of state. I don't always get my way but I'm happy. I've rebuilt my credit via this bank and the good advice given to me by my first loan specialist. Btw I've done this partially disabled mostly on SSI. Now I've had my bad moments but I talked to my bank and let them know. They were always understanding. Thank you.

I do business in CA, and when I need a NV Credit Union, this is my go to Credit Union.They are super fast. Like the flash. I appreciate how well organized they are. Very nice and friendly people that answer the phone.It’s nice to be able to help people in NV with the help of Financial Horizons. Thank you!

Good employees but the online banking is horrible. Constanly asking security questions and I get locked out of my account about twice a month.

The Hawthorne Credit Union is so awesome to deal with. Everyone I have ever had to deal with has been nice and professional. There have been about 2 employees that go well above and beyond to help me daily with my accounts. No other bank would ever do what they do for me.

Worst customer service. They screw up so much. They can't even provide proper service without lying or screwing up. I'd go to Fallon for another bank before dealing with such undesirables if I could they'd get zero stars

so i have had to replace 3 atm due to fraud...and now online banking is asking me for a security question i didnt set up to use...thus locking me out of banking.The staff in location is awesome friendly and nice...but the services dont match up to the people..Seriously I mean seriously taking all our money out and moving it to another credit union. I never have these issues with First Tech or Denaliupdate - I do a lot of online trading and i receive payouts from scottrade as does my mother. Every single time she receives a check for dispersal and goes to deposit it we are treated like criminals trying to pass a bad check. Literally glared art and scowled at with suspicion. I have had it with this place.
