Normally, I'd say I caught the clerk on an off day if my husband hadn't been complaining about her sour attitude for the past 10 years. Well I met Mrs. attitude today and hubby wasn't joking. 2 seconds of face time, the rest was her turning her back and walking away while saying she sent my packages back, i was still trying to figure out why my packages were delivered to the post office in the first place as they always delivered to my physical address as on my accounts files. So sorry my presence was such an inconvenience for you deary.... but, If it's your job that made you so incredibly sour, then maybe its time you retired. Such a poor attitude for a public servant. BTW, the retailer is filing a formal complaint against you.

Renewed Post office Box. Had statement which clearly stated a renewal rate of $67.00 for six months. The woman at the window charged me $83.00, and didn't mention anything. When I brought it up, she said, oh we had an increase. So if I go into a store and an item is clearly marked one price, and I checkout and all of a sudden charged more? Why didn't my Bill, which was placed only a few days ago in my box reflect the higher price? This is a very poor way to do Business! Very poor communication.

Greater Genoa citizens don't receive direct mail service at their residences and businesses. Instead, most everyone has a box at the Genoa Post Office. So depending on the time of day, the Genoa Post Office is a happening place. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be an adventure in itself, and with COVID, it's sometimes hard to recognize your neighbors. Now that Gayle and I live just outside of Genoa Proper, I enjoy the experience. When Gayle first registered for our PO Box, the postal employee immediately noted that Vassar was a Genoa Proper name. That's true as her Dad's family arrived here around the 1940s. So that makes only me as the California invader (via Iowa) in our house. :) If there's too much mail to fit inside the box, I'll either see a key inside the slot, directing me to a larger "locker" space to retrieve my package. Otherwise, I'll see a yellow or green slip, directing me to the desk. The folks working at the post office are nice and with a local flair that I relish. They'll even collect my MIL's mail for me to deliver, no questions asked.

I'm moving to town soon and called to get the details on renting a PO Box and everyone was so helpful and kind. I love the idea of coming into town for my mail and seeing neighbors and grabbing a coffee.

Always friendly staff at this location. I am always offered help to my car if I received a lot of large packages or boxes. Inside of store is always kept clean.

We visit Genoa annually in order to soak in the hot springs, so end up in this post office several times each year. It's always empty, and the man and the woman who work there are always very nice and very competent. Always a good experience.

7/24//2018: The historic Pony Express Trail Post Office's location is 3/4ths blocks away South from Nixon Street, Genoa, NV 89411. The Post Office's sign is quite small and unfortunately, the sign's location is not directly standing via Foothill Road! Apparently, there seems to be one USPS employee working upon my arrival so, you must hail for service. Anyway, just after the Post Office's location is the antique store . . . FYI~A blatant landmark searching for the antique store signage in order, looking for the Post Office, I guess? I didn't see a US Flag flying so, I just don't understand why as a government office, there's no flag~Waaaah . . . Well~My suggestion is drive super s-l-o-w so you won't miss the USPS' driveway!
