It’s truly hard to believe how rude the owner is! I asked him about a specific pistol that was in his store and he answered me so insultingly, it was hard to believe. He was trying to be insulting!

This shop has very good inventory of Antique rifles and artifacts. Always new stuff it seems like. The owner is very nice, and extremely knowledgeable.

The owner of the shop is rude and hostile. He does not want to sell anything he is a hoarder. The place is slopy and disorganized. Half of the stuff in the shop is junk and generally overpriced. Don't waste your time.

Fabulous variety of antique weapons. The atmosphere of the shop is old western leaving you to look at everything. We will definitely be back to purchase in the future. Owner kind and knowledgeable. We found some rare items we've been on the hunt for a while. Amazing!! ????

Stopped in to check it out only to be verbally assaulted by the j*** behind the counter. I asked one too many questions. I was told not to come back and will gladly comply. Store is way overpriced with poor quality used guns. Owner could not provide basic information on guns and was angry when being questioned. A rip-off waiting to happen.

Since my last review of Petersunn's Antiques back in 2012, I've stopped in to see Terry many times. I've pretty much concentrated on his extensive knife collection, have purchased a number of them, have always felt welcome and that he really knows his stuff. We're also both from Northwest Iowa and both have family in Genoa. What I don't understand is 6 (at this writing) negative reviews complaining about rudeness. If what they mean is plain spoken, occasionally blunt, and sometimes doesn't suffer fools (or unsupervised kids), I consider that a plus.

Insulting obnoxiously rude shop keeper. I don't know who the heck he thinks he is, but like another customer said, bad Karma. He must have serious psychological problems. I've never encountered a more rude vendor in all my days. Maybe he needs an exorcism!!! I would never go there again!!!
